• Lisa (10/5): - Das Hotel hat ein perfekte Lage. Es ist ruhig und man hört das Meer rauschen. Das Zimmer und der Aufenthaltsbereich waren sehr sauber. Das Internet funktionierte zuverlässig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Alles war sehr gut organisiert, auch die Kanu Tour in den Nationalpark.
• Madlen (10/5): Ruhig, gemütlich, tolle Lage! - Die Lage, etwas abseits des Touristentrubels und direkt am Strand, ist wunderbar. Von den großzügigen Terrassen genießt man einen traumhaften Ausblick. Alles war sehr sauber und gemütlich. Frühstück gibt es in den Restaurants in der Nähe. Die Kanutour durch den Nationalpark mit Angelo war ebenfalls ein besonderes Erlebnis. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit. Alles super!
• olivia (9/5): muy buena relacion precio calidad - la ubicacion te permite ir al pueblo caminando e ir a la playa que esta cruzando una senda .desde la terraza en el tercer piso se veia tanto el rio como el caribe . habitaciones comodas y muy limpias . tenian toallas para la playa angelo muy amable ,nos ayudo con el equipaje y nos instruyo con lo del hotel ,tambien un tremendo guia turistico la locacion esta en medio de viviendas y no tiene como saber que es el hotel,el camino desde el embarcadero es de arena ,por lo que las rueditas de las maletas no sirven
• Corina (10/5): - Die Unterkunft ist toll gelegen und bietet von den beiden Dachterassen tolle Blicke auf Kanal und Meer. Und auf einen Baum, in dem sich regelmäßig riesige Echsen aufhalten. Ein toller und beeindruckender Anblick. Carmen und Angelo sind super freundlich und aufmerksam und stehen immer für Fragen zur Verfügung. Das Zimmer ist super ausgestattet mit einer leisen Klimaanlage, einem tollen Bad, einem großen Bett und schönen Textilien (Bettwäsche, Handtücher für Dusche und Strand). Es gibt ausreichend Platz, um die eigenen Dinge zu verstauen. Ein kleiner Kühlschrank wäre toll, aber wir konnte in der Open-Air Küche auf der Dachterasse Dinge in den Kühlschrank legen. Toll fand ich auch, dass es nachts schön dunkel in dem Zimmer war, ohne störende LED Lämpchen von allen möglichen Elektrogeräten. Wir haben ganz hervorragend geschlafen. Wir haben eine Canoe-Tour mit Angelo gemacht, die wirklich richtig großartig war. Wir sind mit einem Elektromotor durch kleine Kanäle geglitten und konnten so die Atmosphäre vom Regenwald mit all den Tieren genießen. Und Angelo hat viele spannende Tiere entdeckt und konnte uns jede Menge dazu erzählen. Eine wirklich gelungene und beeindruckende Tour.

• Jill (9/5): Very clean and comfortable hotel a short walk from the village. Very good value for money. - Very clean and comfortable. Good air con. Big beds. Just a short walk into Tortuguero village. Owners helpfully organised boat taxi to the airport. The hotel is just 3 rooms with no breakfast provided. But that didn’t bother us as there are lots of cafes in the village a short walk away.

• Christine (10/5): Clean, comfortable accommodation and very good value. - Great hotel right on the beach and a five minute easy walk to Tortuguero town and lots of restaurants. There were two large covered outdoor areas with seating and tables and chairs with views of both the ocean and canal. The room was clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed and a lovely tiled bathroom and shower. A safety deposit box and small fridge were also provided. There was a small outdoor shower which was perfect for washing the sand off your feet before going into the room. The owners, Carmen and Angelo, were very easy to contact and answered all of our questions. They organised a boat tour and a walking tour for us with a local guide, Brandon. These were excellent and really good value for the money. We loved our stay here! Nothing, it was a perfect place to stay.
• Wendy (10/5): Hier krijg je geen spijt van - Gewoon geweldig! Ruime kamer en badkamer. Ontzettend netjes en schoon. Alles is nieuw, geen nare luchtjes. Leuke locatie tusse de locals. Uitzicht op de caribische zee, en de rivier. Kleine loop afstand van het dorpje. Angelo de host heeft goed voor ons gezorgd. Nachtwandeling en een ochtend rondvaart door het park met hen gedaan. Kon niet beter, hij spot zoveel kikkers apen kaaimannen, luiaarden, vogels en nog veel meer. Weet veel te vertellen. Je kunt deze accomodatie gerust boeken. Je krijgt er geen spijt van! Niets

• Carmen (10/5): - Carmen, die Gastgeberin hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Sie hat Tipps gegeben, was man an Touren machen kann. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Auf Wunsch macht Carmen auch Frühstück, dass war frisch und lecker.
• Frank (10/5): - Super Lage in der Nähe des Strandes und des Zentrums. Sehr großes Bett mit sehr angenehmer Bettwäsche. Alles sauber, alles bestens. Carmen war eine hervorragende Gastgeberin, die sich um alles mit Leidenschaft kümmert (Zimmer, Anlage, Ausflüge und sogar Frühstück, wenn man möchte). Vielen Dank - mucho gusto y pura vida.
• Paula-Maria (10/5): - Rauhallinen ja viihtyisä pieni hotelli. Huoneet olivat todella siistit ja kauniisti sisustetut. Kaikki toimi hyvin. Majoittajat olivat sydämellisiä, tulivat laiturille meitä vastaan ja järjestivät seurueellemme yksityisen opastetun veneretken kohtuullisella hinnalla. Jääkaappia huoneessa ei ollut, se olisi ollut hyvä lisä.

• Diana (8/5): Estupenda opción en Tortuguero - Es una muy buena opción para Tortuguero. Las habitaciones son correctas y están muy limpias. Camas cómodas. La ubicación con acceso directo a la playa es espectacular. Tiene una amplia terraza muy agradable. Ángelo nos ayudó en todo momento para la contratación de los tours. Pudimos contemplar el desove de las tortugas, naturaleza en estado puro, algo que no se olvida nunca. El tour de la canoa por los canales es muy recomendable, en canoa sin motor, tuvimos la oportunidad de ver distintos animales y disfrutar de la increíble belleza del Parque. Volveríamos a alojarnos aquí sin duda.
• Silvia (8/5): Todo genial! Repetiriamos - La amplitud de la habitación! Todo reformado, moderno. Todo muy limpio. Carmen muuy amable, nos gestionó los Tours y los recomiendo, Angelo el mejor guía!! Estaba en frente la Playa, genial para dar un paseo. Zona tranquila. La presión del agua de la ducha, si tienes melena larga dificil lavarte el pelo, y que no tengan donde poner la maleta, solo puedes dejarla en el suelo. El acceso también deberían mejorarlo, es una pasarela de ladrillos.
• Isabelle (7/5): - Las habitaciones muy amplias y bonitas. No se ajustó el precio a 3 viajeros que éramos en vez de 4 (por una cancelacion de viaje). A veces es verdad que es dificil hacerlo. Pero en el viaje la mayoría de hoteles buscaron acomodar las circuntancias y fue de agradecer. Los espacios comunes no nos parecieron muy acogedores. Es byen lugar para dormir y descansar pero teniendo todo el día de actividades fuera. En todo momento los dueños fueron muy amables.
• Ricard (10/5): Un allotjament molt tranquil i amb una atenció excel·lent a Tortuguero - És un projecte en construcció i es nota que en tenen moltes ganes. Tot estava molt net i era molt comfortable. L’atenció de la Carmen i de l’Angelo va ser excepcional en tot moment, ens van ajudar a trobar l’hotel i ens van reservar tots els tours i van fer recomanacions molt bones. A més té una terrassa molt bonica just davant de la platja i on es veuen molts ocells. És molt recomanable per fer una estada a Tortuguero.

• Sara (10/5): Exceptional - I loved my stay here! The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and there were great free toiletries (including conditioner). Wifi and AC worked perfectly. The shared terrace was the perfect place to relax and listen to the waves. The location was also very good, a bit further away from the main street but you could walk there in a couple of minutes. The beach was right there across a small path and you could hear the waves to the terrace. Booking tours was very easy through them and they were great! The turtle nesting tour was very informative and we had a much smaller group compared to some others. It was truly a highlight! Carmen also shared other tips for the town and was very responsive and kind when I had questions. I would absolutely stay here again!

• Adam (9/5): Newly rennovated, great location - A stunning, newly renovated property right next to the beach. The place was very clean, had air conditioning and it was a very comfortable stay. The host spoke very good english and provided us with about activities and excursions with trusted local tours and even booked these for us. There was a lovely outdoor terrace where you could sit and where we sighted lots of macaws eating in the trees above! Couldn't recommend this place enough, thank you for our stay! As this is a new property, the locals were not familiar with the name and it was not on any of the maps. However, the host was very communicative and gave clear instructions in order to find it!

• Dimitrios (10/5): Beautiful quiet room close to the beach and near the main road - The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Also it had plenty of space so you didn’t feel cramped in space. The bed was very comfortable. The location is awesome, just a 5 minutes walk away from the main road, where plenty of restaurants and coffees can be found. The hotel is in front of the beach, where you can see beautiful sunrises (if the weather allows :)) What we have enjoyed a lot is the terrace next to the room. We spent hours sitting there listening to the waves of the sea and bird sounds. We have been able to see many kind of different types of birds, like toucans, parrots and humming birds. Besides the location, the owners Carmen and Angelo, are very helpful, lovely and kind persons. Always good communication and they made everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We have also booked different trips with Angelo aka Eagle-Eye (motorized boat trip for animal watching along the canals, canoe tour through the canals of the national park and a day walk through the natural park). He is an amazing animal spotter and has also a lot of knowledge about animals and nature. Nothing :)
• Sally (9/5): A most enjoyable couple of days. - The location was excellent. Just 5 minutes to the main street of the village. Tortuguero is very unspoilt and authentic. The scenery in the national park is breathtaking. Our hosts Carmen and Angelo, were so very helpful Angelo took us on a canoe safari in the national park, early one morning. He is very knowledgeable and an amazing wildlife spotter. Our room was very tastefully decorated. It looked quite newly refurbished, light and bright The bed was so very comfortable with the best pillows. Nothing apart from the rain.
• Sevgi (9/5): Superb - We had a great stay at Alma del Bosque! The room was incredibly clean and comfortabele. The location is great: a quiet part of the town, next to the beach, from where you could easily walk to the park, boat, and cafes and restaurants. Angelo was an amazing guide who showed us the beauty of the area. No dissappointments.
