• Christina (4/5): Wir hatten es uns nach den Fotos und den Bewertungen viel schöner vorgestellt. - Die Lage war super , der Vermieter sehr nett Wir sind nach 2 von 4 gebuchten Nächten ausgezogen. Das Appartement hatte nur ein Fenster/ Terrassentür und war sehr dunkel. Der private Garten entpuppte ich als von wänden umschlossen geflößte Fläche. Die Matratze war kleiner als das Bett und durchgelegen. Der in die Wand eingelassene kleine Kleiderschrank gefiel uns auch nicht sonderlich.

• Marco (7/5): Viel Licht, aber auch etwas zu kritisieren - Die Lage ist grundsätzlich super, wenn man Spots wie das Colosseo etc zu Fuss erreichen will. Klar, es ist preislich mitten in der Touristenfalle, aber dafür ist alles top erreichbar. Vorteil dabei, das Apartment liegt in einer Lärm geschützten schmalen Gasse. Da hat man trotz der zentralen Lage eine ruhige Atmosphäre. Die Gasse ist zwar außerordentlich ruhig für die tolle Lage, aber ist auch etwas abschreckend. Sehr dreckig, die Wände mit Grafiti beschmiert, Bierflaschen auf dem Weg und insgesamt trostlos und ungepflegt. Das Apartment bzw. die Ausstattung war nicht so, wie ich es beim Buchen dachte. Es gab z.B. keine Waschmaschine, was in der Beschreibung stand und der "Garten" ist ein kleines Atrium mit einem dreckigem Tisch und ein paar Blumentöpfen. Keine Sonne den ganzen Tag und insgesamt kein einladender Ort. Das war schade. Das Apartment ist sehr dunkel und hat wenig Steckdosen. Für den Preis insgesamt nicht optimal, obwohl ich mich trotzdem nicht unwohl gefühlt habe.

Вона має все необхідне, а ще є дуже красиве патіо, де можна з насолодою снідати, обідати і вечеряти. Особливо хочемо відзначити дуже гостинних господарів: усе, що нам було потрібно, вони надавали дуже швидко. Ми обов’язково повернемося сюди ще раз. Щиро дякуємо!

The subway was right down the street and there are so many restaurants and bars near by. The apartment was a fabulous size for me and my husband. If you have a lot of luggage and you are dropped off at the wrong entrance, there are a few stairs to negotiate. One particular bar nearby got very noisy some nights. A quaint apartment.

The owner of the house gave me recommendations for restaurants, answered my questions during my stay. The cleaning lady and the owner were responsive and kind to me and my requests. I got a great pleasure to find in this apartment.
• Arosehightower (10/5): Reprieve in the heart of Rome - This cozy apartment had everything I needed and was a welcome break in the bustling city. The outdoor garden was lovely to sit in and great for drying clothes after using the very appreciated laundry machine. It's a small space but has everything you need. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the Monti district. I was shocked by how quiet the apartment was given its proximity to bars and in a lively neighborhood. The host was very easy to communicate with via WhatsApp, gave great recommendations, and helped book a taxi. The garden isn't fully private to neighbors' eyes so just be aware of that. The bathroom has a dehumidifier that is very necessary for the space but creates a white noise hum; it didn't bother me but just FYI.

• Mariani (5/5): So so… - The apartment is very well located, close to the main tourist attractions in a very picturesque neighbourhood and quiet. Giuseppe is always attentive, but unfortunately, there are structural issues that go beyond Giuseppe’s good intentions. It’s worth clarifying that the photos of the apartment on Booking are a mix of two apartments: in the one we rented, there were no tables or chairs because there simply isn’t space available for a table. The apartment is very small, dark (with only one door leading to a small courtyard), and there was a quite strong musty smell. We decided not to open the wardrobe due to the ammonia smell coming from inside. Therefore, we left our luggage on the floor, which further reduced the available space. I asked to change apartments, but Giuseppe told us the other one was occupied (and I believe him 100% that this was the case). The shower drain was partially clogged, with hair, which caused a bit of discomfort. We reported the issue, and someone came quickly to fix it, but after a day, the problem returned. When we returned to Rome a few days later, to our surprise, we rented a much larger apartment for the same price…
• Yurii (8/5): If you have come to explore Ancient Rome, then this is the place for you... - Lorenzo, the owner of the house, pleasant both in appearance and in communication, was attentive to our whims, reacted quickly and with a positive result. My wife and I walked a lot, when we returned tired, we were only interested in the shower and bed that are in this apartment. We had a small courtyard where you could drink coffee and eat fruit in the shade, for this a separate plus. When choosing accommodation, our main criterion was the location, we were not mistaken, since everything was within walking distance from us. I recommend Lorenzo to do an audit of the technical condition of the apartment and pay more attention to cleaning. The apartment is 30 m², but this is with a yard, we were cramped. The yard was dusty, as if it hadn't been cleaned for a long time.

The air conditioner worked really well which was crucial this week. Really it was fine. If I had needed to spend more time there, I think I would have minded that it wasn’t larger and that there were hardly any windows.

• Paul (10/5): Exceptional - The location in Monti was perfect. So many food choices, so close by. Close to the sights while still having a nice Rome residential vibe. Piazza degli Zingari has an active youth night scene and the nearbyl gelateria 'dell'angeletteo' had amazingly fresh flavors and did not disappoint. The pizzeria Alle Carrote is minutes away and made amazing thin crust pizza. The cafe La Licata serves a full American style breakfast starting at 6 AM and the staff were so friendly. It's a 2 minute walk from the apartment. It's Rome, so its on the small side, AND extremely functional with everything you need. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee capsules, sugar and such. I didn't cook food at all, but it is good to know it was there. The Air Conditioning was quite effective on one of the most hot, humid days of July. The bed was comfortable. One side is against a wall, so if one person had to get up in the middle of the night, they would need to shuffle down the bed or across the other person. The bathroom and shower were clean and well equipped. The hot water was never an issue for me, but I was a solo traveler in summer. So can't ssy if anything would be different with more demand (no reason to suspect so.) The apartment has a desk and chair at the base of the bed. I used that for some work related laptop stuff and morning coffee. The terrace is small and nicely furnished (some plants, table, chairs). It is a small space surrounded by and between buildings with solo use for the apartment. That said, because of the location and positioning, there is no breeze and it was extremely warm while I was in Rome... so it wasn't much of an asset to me. There is an awning to block sun that you can manually open or retract. I didn't. Sun wasn't really an issue because it never saw direct sunlight. If you are travelling during a cooler time it would be quite nice. But that's Rome and not the fault of the apartment. I sent a note to Giuseppe with one small suggestion at the end of my stay, a small shelf in the shower stall and by the bathroom sink to rest your bar of soap on. He was amazingly open to the feedback. The sink vanity in the bathroom has table space to store toiletries, so not as important there, I guess. A really nice place and pied-a-Terre while in The Eternal city!

The owner of the apartment was very kind and helpful, gave some good advice on where to eat and was easy to get in touch with if needed. Lorenzo the host made my stay even easie - I thought the property was beautifully arranged and decorated. The facilities were more than adequate and greatly thought out. One of the comfiest beds I have ever stayed in, beautiful bathroom and lovely kitchen. I honestly can’t think of a single thing I disliked about the property or my stay.

The metro Cavur is a few minutes walk from the property. Lorenzo is a good host, he gave us good advice and it was always available for what we needed. The building was a little difficult to find, but we should have read the detailed information Lorenzo wrote us, then it would be easier.

• Ivana (7/5): Wonderfully close to everything, with a reasonable catch. - Location is fantastic…3 blocks from the colosseum! The metro is one block away, taxi stand 3 blocks by the colosseum. Bed was extra comfy and the AC worked well. The host was very welcoming and was always available. Main issue is it smelled of mold…which could be easily seen in the bathroom. The block itself is extremely close to a bar so that might bother some, didn’t bother us though. There was an empty Prosecco bottle left by the drink area which looked like a minor overlook by the cleaning person- not a major issue- as otherwise it was very clean. Lastly only window was the door to the garden otherwise place has no windows and feels a bit bunker-ish. *If ability to walk to landmarks and have a comfy bed to sleep in is your only concern this place is wonderful…if you are older and looking for room comfort maybe look elsewhere.
• Geoff (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic apartment close walk to The Colosseum right in the heart of the funky Esquilino district. 5 minute walk to the Cavour metro station (1 stop to Termini). The apartment is great and very comfortable. The outdoor private garden is a great bonus. Ideal location for all sightseeing and when you get home some great bars and ristrante all close by. The fantastic Lorenzo was there to meet us and was in contstant contact on WhatsApp. Sightseeing tips, walking tours, cafe and eating tips were all perfect. This is a great place to stay in Rome. Similar prices I found was only for a twin bed. There is motor/engine keeps running in the bathroom which is slightly noise. It's acceptable to me when I close the door of the bathroom. The host also provides the silent earplugs in case you need them. But I didn't use it.

• Kjersti (10/5): Cozy studio in perfect location - Absolutely perfect location, quiet but lots of bars and restaurants around not only used by tourists. Walking distance to everything if you’re happy to wander around - Colosseum just a few minutes away. Close to Metro stop line B.

• Ekaterina (10/5): It was a nice stay in a cosy apartment in one of the best districts of Rome! - The flat was very clean and cosy with all this Roman atmosphere. It had all the necessary facilities and things for our stay. The apartment is close to many places of interest, good restaurants, supermarket, metro. The patio in the apartment is absolutely my favourite. We had nice breakfasts there and limoncello at nights. The owner Lorenzo was very helpful, gave all the instructions how to get to the place, how to enter the flat. He gave us recommendations about the restaurants and shops nearby, he answered eagerly all my questions and was in touch any time I needed. I would for sure recommend this place for you perfect stay in Rome.
• Gabriel (10/5): 9.9/10 - The facilities and the garden was very nice A minor inconvenient was that after a long trip we had to go buy water. It would have been very nice if we would have found in the fridge some water. It’s not a game changer:). We lived it here and we higly recommend.
• Sofie (10/5): Exceptional - The location is fantastic! Near metro, lot of good restaurants and bars just around the corner, walking distance to all the sightseeing places and at the same time very quiet and comfortable accomodation. We absolutely loved it!
