• René (7/5): - Kleines Hotel mit familiärem Touch. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Liegt direkt am Strand, welcher der Lieblingsort für Kitesurfer ist. Das Hotel kommt langsam ins Alter und die Infrastruktur ist Revisionsbedprftig.

The location is perfect, especially for kitesurfing. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly. A special thanks to Kenny Moreno — he welcomed me very warmly and was always attentive to every detail. He is extremely helpful and made my stay much more enjoyable. The hotel could improve by adding a few more items in the room, especially kitchen equipment and hand/face towels. Other than that, everything was great

• Kevin (9/5): - I had an injury to my ankle and Kenny on the staff. Did everything possible to help me out even going above and beyond what they normally do for customers. Great staff . And being so close to the road I still had no problem sleeping at night.

• David Leandro (9/5): A very good stay at a reasonable price - Lucy and the staff were very kind and attentive to our requests. The rooms have the basics what we need and we expect. They were clean and organized. Our stay at the hotel was nice, we could rest without problems and we could enjoy the desk in front of the sea. I guess this is the most cool facility of the hotel. They could improve the condition of some items but these are minor issues and do not make the stay uncomfortable.

• Erica (7/5): Decent for kite surfing enthusiasts - It was right off the beach, but it’s hard to swim because of the kite surfing. The on-site manager was great-when we asked to leave early they immediately refunded and apologized. The room has a kitchen area and everything you needed. The internet was okay. We had a balcony. They had two doors and thick curtains Only three parking spots. The beds were hard. The bathroom was dirty. The safe didn’t work.

• Manning (2/5): Great location for a cheap budget. - If you want to be on the beach, this is a great location. I was able to Kite the first day as there was wind. There are restaurants in walking distance. Unfortunately, the property backs up to the main road and there is a speed bump where all of the traffic stop/starts at. This creates a lot of noise from the motorcyclists. Pool was good and there is a little coverered deck area that is great for sitting and relaxing. No luxury chairs/benches. If you are on a budget and traveling with friends, this is a great location. Kenny (manager) was great and very friendly. The property backs up to the main road and there is a speed bump where all of the traffic stop/starts at. This creates a lot of noise from the motorcyclists. The windows are older and do not dampen any sound. If the property looked at improving their facilities, the price of the rooms would have to be increased. So this property would not have shown up based on ones budget. Overall, you get what you pay for.

The location is perfect directly at the beach for kitesurfing or walking at the beach. We had a room with balcony an could see every morning a marvelous sunrise. Thomas Everything was fine.

It wasn't a problem for us, but it might be for some although there are plenty of guaguas that go by. As the name implies, lots of kite surfers from different countries. I didn't like that we had to leave so soon!

• Tamara (8/5): Very good - The room was spacious and clean. There is a Yale safe which is good. The Air conditioning was good. The facility is right on the beach. Kenny was very hospitable. No good parking. Just stressful to park in a tiny spot with a car rear hanging over the highway.

Property shows some wear but it was clean. Property starting to show wear. Nice place for the money however. Would recommend.

• Mia (10/5): Great location, convenient. On the beach - Right on Kite Beach! I loved sitting on the sand watching the kite surfers. They kite surf during windy days from morning until evening. Cabarete center is a 5 min drive where all the gift shops & beachfront restaurants are. A local bus can drop you off there (50 pesos a person each way). There's a small store across the street that sell things like water, milk, bananas, coconut, bread, cake, chips, soap etc... There's also a restaurant right across the street that serves Dominican food (250 pesos a plate.) Kite club is next door & Cabarete flying trapeze circus right next to it. You can see the aerial acrobats practice from the ocean view balcony rooms. The hotel staff was friendly & helpful especially the front desk representative, Kenny. He was amazing! Rust on the balcony railings needs fixing & the beds need better pillows.

• Marius (10/5): Exceptional - The closeness to Kite Beach, with Kite Club Cabarete right next to it was great. Where they were really helpful launching and catching the kites. And Kenneth the portier was really helpful taking our luggage to our room, giving us tips on where to eat and where to buy food for the room. If we had any questions he gladly answered them.

• Ti&da (7/5): Excellent hotel for kite surfers right on the beach - Hotel is located on the beach just beside a kite surf club. Hotel is good and clean but need some adaptation. We stayed in Triple Room with Balcony, kitchenette and balcony and one wardrobe. Room was spacious, the cooking area was basically equipped for 3 persons, fridge was new and clean. Bathroom with shower, towels and one bottle of shampoo and one soap. Balcony not possible to lock, safe available. No cleaning during our 4 nights stay. Smart TV, lousy WiFi in our room. Pool area also need adaptation, we did not try the pool. There was also a shower and a public sitting area under the roof beside the pool, and another one looking at the beach with some basic tables and chairs. Staff was helpful. Payment in cash or Paypal. The Kite Surf Club beside the hotel was very nice. No grocery stores close by except a small one opposite the street, no offer of food or drinks at the hotel, but the Kite Surf Club beside had wide offer of food, drinks and desserts. The beach is really crowded with kite surfers, and waves and currents are strong, so it is not the best place to swim.

• Domy (5/5): right on the beach. perfect if you are single, doing kitesurf and eat at the restaurant! - kenny nice guy always helping you that place needs some serious love. we were a family and didn't find that easy, boiling water for your pasta takes about 2 hours. you have nothing to clean the kitchen or not much... no rags, no sponge... and so noisy... the road is just next to the place.

• Amanda (9/5): Superb - The location was amazing, even though I had no intention of kite surfing it was very cool to watch other people do it. A walk to town (Cabarete) along the beach was about 30 minutes, and when you're on vacation that's a relaxing part of the experience. The staff were friendly and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and stores. Clean room, with a view from my balcony of the waves crashing. The property was secured with a locked gate(at night) on the street side and a staff member keeping an eye on the beach entrance. Seriously a great location. My patio door didn't seem to lock properly, as a solo traveler this was slightly unnerving, I didn't inquire with the staff about it because I didn't want to draw attention to the fact that my room was not fully secured while I stayed there.

• Gfine (9/5): Manager Kenny is amazing - Manager Kenny was amazing. He was so helpful and knowledgeable. If you're into kite surfing this is definitely the spot for you! Also, I like how the TV's are smart TV's and if you're feeling tired from the sun and want to login to your Netflix account you can! More expensive places have terrible TV's with local stations on them. Also have a microwave and hot plate if you want to make some food in your room, which is especially handy if you're hungry outside of regular restaurant hours. Not very close to supermarkets or the main strip in cabarete but this isn't a negative really its personal preference! It is just nice to have the option to be very close to a lot of things.
