- Thomas (6/5): Pleasant - Really spacious. Fairly good location. Not particularly clean (mostly the kitchen, bath and bedrooms were alright). Strong retirement home vibes. Poorly soundproofed. Be prepared to wake up every time someone uses the toilet at night (adjacent room).
- Jay (8/5): Large apartment just outside the city walls in a Florentine neighborhood - The location is in a wonderful part of Florence where regular Florentines live, so it is a great location to be slightly outside the city center and avoid the tourists. There are a lot of shops nearby, cafes, grocery stores, restaurants, and it is a 5 minute walk to the train station Campo di Marte. The apartment is also large, has a washing machine, and it has a/c in the living room and master bedroom (they provide fans for the other two rooms). The kitchen has everything you need aside from a working coffee machine, which is an easy fix. There are some mosquitoes, so the apartment could do a better job of providing mosquito repellants--there was one plug in repellant for the entire apartment. Better yet would be to add screens to the windows. The apartment also needed an iron and a coffee machine.
