• Anne & Matthew (9/5): A quite oasis in the bustle of Centro Storico. Clean and quiet. - Location was amazing: right in the Centro Storico, it made for super convenient walking to restaurants, subway/tube, the ferry, various tourist locations. The building was built in the 1400s. The apartment is on the 4th floor. Between the all the stone of the old building and the height of the apartment itself, it feels quite insulated from the bustle of the streets below--a calm oasis. (Upstairs neighbors do quite a bit of moving furniture? bowling? running? ...guessing they have kids who play, and we heard that up till 23:00 and again before 8:00. Not unbearable, but surprising...) The apartment feels very modern and clean with high ceilings. The second room is a weird one. If you use it a sitting room with the sofa, it's kind of dark a box, with no windows. The sofa faces a wall with a door. The TV and dining table are in another room. It's a bit of an odd set-up. If you use that room as second bedroom, its a sleeper sofa FYI. The host did add an extra mattress on top, but when we ranted to convert it back to sofa by day, we had to remove the mattress and lean it up against the wall. This bonus room does not have its own A/C, but the walls don't go all the way to the ceiling, so that allows for airflow from the room with A/C, but then cuts down on the room's privacy... The shower head is a nice fall-from-above waterfall-style head with good pressure and plenty of hot. Good luck though, if you want o take a shower and NOT get your head wet. Bathroom would be much more convenient with a little more counter space and some towel hooks. We were a family of 3. It felt like it would be better for 2 or 1 person. Kitchen does not have a proper oven. There is a small appliance that looks like a microwave, but I guess has oven features too...? Only 2 wine glasses in the kitchen. Our third person drank wine from a water glass.

• Banuta (9/5): Superb - The apartment is near the top of a set of apartments arranged around a lovely courtyard. The location is in the TOP tourist location in Naples which is both wonderful and overwhelming. It's very easy to take the subway from here. There's a big fridge and a big bedroom with a huge closet, a second room which we also used, with a fold-out couch. The shower is fantastic. The A/C works perfectly. The instructions on how to get there should be more clear. The address has a number for the apartment which is not obviously posted anywhere on the main street. We had to ask a vendor on the street how to get there. That was really the only hitch in the entire proceedings -- getting to the location in the first place, also because taxis cannot go straight to the location since it is on a pedestrian-only street which is teeming with tourists. One night someone in an adjoining apartment had a loud party until 2 AM. This is something out of your host's control, but just to know, it might get noisy.
• Kaisa (9/5): Great place in a central location of historical Naples - This is a spacious, modern and clean apartment in the centre of historical Naples. No traffic sounds and it is easy to walk to most places. I can highly recommend! The second bedroom has sofabed which is quite hard to sleep. The elevator works with 10 c coins, which is not very usable.
• Fmrp71 (9/5): Nice and comfortable apartment right in the centro storico - Very well located, right in the historic center of the city, and in the heart of Presepe Napoletano, surrounded by art. The apartment is very quiet although it is so centric, and very comfortable. Spacious place, clean and functional bathroom (nice shower, works very well). Beds are really comfortable. Well equipped kitchen, you can have breakfast or lunch there, but nothing like a cafe-latte or a capuccio at the Italian coffee shops, neither the Italian cuisine at any of the Trattorias close to the apartment... A great experience, highly recommended.

• Andreas (10/5): Perfekt vacations - The apartment is located in the middle of the lively old town of Naples and is still very quiet on the third floor of an old stylish palazzo. The apartment itself is very modern and very tastefully decorated. Numerous restaurants, bars, museums, archaeological sites and historic churches are within walking distance. The key handover was completely unproblematic. Just state the time of arrival and Francesca will be there to give good recommendations for restaurants etc. Everything was so nice that we are planning to come back.

• Anonymous (10/5): Lovely place in the heart of Naples. - Beautiful, updated apartment - but in an old bldg. We were on the 3rd floor and always needed to make sure we had .10 euros for the elevator. Loved the location. So many places to eat nearby. Francesca was very helpful whenever I had a question. Would stay here again for sure. Located on Christmas Alley which is a cool place, but no cars or taxis can fit. You must haul your luggage on cobblestone from the taxi drop off. Pack light. We had too many suitcases so that was our fault. Lesson learned.

• Martijn (10/5): A perfect base to visit Naples - Due to a 38 degrees heatwave, the air condition was heavenly. The apartment has all the comforts of home, making it a real home in Naples. The central location is perfect for experiencing Naples. Just perfect!! We did not experience any negative things.
