Guest Reviews
- sarah (8/5): - Location was good.
Facilities were great.
- Steve (10/5): Loved it. - Great location , having a car park was great Nothing
- Jeffrey (10/5): Great short stay. So central to the CBD. Comfortable and so easy to park and stay. - The location was great, walking distance to everything in the CBD. It was a really nice apartment with everything we needed. Close to Melbourne central, public trasport, food and supermarket downstairs.

- Anne (7/5): Not what I expected but still good - Central and vibrant Sirens could be heard all night and early morning but it was advertised as serene. Definitely not serene so didn’t meet expectations but if vibrant was what you were looking for absolutely perfect.
- Renee (1/5): Terrible place to stay - Location, close to Lygon Street, the markets and trams When we arrived we found a light fitting broken and a blind broken. It couldn’t be rolled down. It was in the bedroom and as a result the whole apartment heated up like a sauna. I rang management as soon as we got there. They organised for someone to come out the next day. In the meantime, we did a grocery shop and overnight our kitchen lost power. I notified management. That day someone came out and fixed the light and a different blind that we didn’t even realise was also broken, despite us telling management the blind that was causing the apartment to be hot was in the bedroom. No one fixed the kitchen so our food was spoiled. I rang and messaged management numerous times on our stay to fix the blind in the bedroom but no one came out to fix it. Management were dismissive and said they would try and find someone to help and then ended up ignoring my calls and messages. I would not stay there. It’s tired and run down. We also weren’t able to use the tennis court and media room that was on the property despite others in the same complex being able to use it.

- shaji (9/5): - Great location and good view. Helpful communication. Key collection wasn't easy, hard get a parking spot near by the shop.
- Justin (6/5): Nowhere did it say what apartment number we were in, I tried calling and messaging through the app but no response. The - Location, large first bedroom Small for three people, the sliding doors on the second bedroom didn’t offer much privacy
- Mescal (8/5): It was comfortable, great location and a spectacular view of the NYE fireworks. - There was no combo washing machine/dryer as indicated in the accommodation description. There was no dishwasher in the apartment. The main bedroom was like a furnace. A small Mitsubishi AC Unit serviced the whole apartment and was inadequate. No extra towels for the pool and when queried we had to go to Reception @ Milano to request these. We didn't bother.
- Michaela (7/5): Great location and hosts, but unfortunately no air-conditioning in the bedrooms! - After hours key collection was very useful and much appreciated The bedrooms do not have air conditioning, and were very hot/stuffy by morning even with windows open.
- Bidari (8/5): - The location and the free parking.
- Anthony (7/5): - was clean and tidy Dreadful experience getting keys, however after ringing through, we managed to get them.
The place we picked them up from was closed which didnt help. Also there is inadequate parking outside the key pickup place which added a lot of stress to the experience.
Smoke alarm disconnected in the kitchen.
- Kate (8/5): - Great location, helpful and clear communication, we'll organised small apartment in block with good facilities. . The main bedroom potentially very hot in summer, is high up and glass on 2 and a nit sides (fans provided) it was very warm when we stayed in a warm spring period.
- Karin (10/5): - The view was wonderful, the gym and pool great. The apartment was well equipped. The location was convenient close to the university and market.

- Anith (1/5): Horrible handling of issues at the property. No promised refund issued. - Horrible service and unliveable property. Stay away - the CEO and managers scam you.
I checked in on 31st October with my friends at 3pm as allowed by the property. When we arrived the CEO Terence was fixing the lights. Ridiculous from the get go. He left after fixing one and then we had to call him back as lights were not working in multiple rooms. Bathroom exhaust also not working. Only AC in the lounge and other two rooms were boiling hot. He came to fix it with a tradie. They stayed for 2-3 hours in total and went leaving the lights unfixed with bugs scattered on everywhere. Bulbs sitting on the kitchen and cut up wires on the bed with more bugs. I called in frustration and was greeted with nothing but sarcasm. I was promised on the phone if we check out immediately a full refund will be issued. I did as I was told and checked up and issued for refund with booking.com. The property is now not responding in writing to what they promised on call and trying to scam me and not give a refund. Absolutely disgusting and unethical management. They refuse to answer any phone calls from me or respond to my request or booking.coms.

- Nur (10/5): Recommended. - Omg i like everything abt this stay. So close to the victoria state library, victoria market, royal exhibition building, melbourne museum (can see their roof from the balcony). truly at the centre of CBD. Tram is nearby, restaurants closed quite late at night coz it is right next to RMIT, so lots of students around. Asian grocers on top of ALDI just below the apartment. Facilities top notch, tried the gym and pool. Halal food also easy to find. For muslim, near to prayer hall as well (for jumuah). Beautiful sunrise view too (see pic) Lights too dim at living room. Lamp at master bedroom also broken during my stay. Told the host and they replied immediately.
- Shamaruh (6/5): - location no dishwasher cooler
- Rodelia (7/5): Confused about procedures on arrival first time to stay in Melbourne CBD - Not provided TV not working 2 days to replace it.
Key collection from EZY Mart????
Car on 6th floor very difficult to find better communication needed use the phone instead of emails Name of building Verve appartment called Serene apartments Why ????
No fresh towels at all stayed for 5 days
- Neil (8/5): - Location was good, views were good As we were travelling in our vehicle pickup and drop off re the key was a bit stressfull
- Louise (8/5): - Lovely pillows! Great views! Constant email reminders to fill in firms when I'd already completed this. Didn't get log-in info until arrival in Australia. That was a little stressful
No bedside light in bedroom 2 and lights witch outside the bedroom door
- Dmitry (7/5): Great Apartment - disappointing end to stay - Excellent location. Facilities were good, lift was fast. Live lux customer service were quick to reply and happy to explain or assist with anything Mattresses on the beds were comfy but too thin, so they became quite hard after the first couple of nights.
The real downside was the housekeeping staff. The room was not ready when I came to check in, no big deal - the man preparing the room said it would be ready in 5 minutes, then proceeded to take 35 more minutes while I waited in the hall.
Upon checking out and returning my key I realised that I had left my wallet in my room. I called the customer service line and they were extremely helpful in getting me the key back so I could go back and grab my wallet. When I came back to the room (about an hour after I'd left) the same man plus a woman were there and the room was basically done - I told them I just came back to grab my wallet and they pretended like they didn't find it. I checked where I left it (in the bedside drawer) and it wasn't there. I told them I knew it was in the room when I left and then they proceeded to check around random cupboards and the second bedroom (which hadn't been used) before finally checking under the bed and "finding" my wallet.
The whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth as the apartment was completely clean, so if the wallet Had been under the bed, they would have already seen it earlier - but moreover, if I had been unsure as to where I might have left my wallet I would have just taken their word when they originally claimed that there was no wallet left in the apartment. Really disappointing to have that experience when all the other staff were nothing but helpful and accommodating.
- Optatus (7/5): Great location central to the city and free tram zone. Comfortable and safe apartment. - The location was perfect with close proximity to the city.
The view was amazing.
Good facilities. More information especially how to use the lifts with the key fob.
Not just relying on email to contact the concierge. We didnt have enough sheets and to use email delayed everything.
The floors hadnt been swept for a while in the main bedroom and under the sofa bed.
- Merce (8/5): Loved it. - Great views and pleasant apartment. Free parking was a great bonus. There are (non invasive) roadworks blocking the road beside the property. This just means you can only approach the parking from one direction.
- Colin (9/5): Superb - Good location, clean, comfortable, good for 2 people.
- Lyndal (5/5): Seamless “onboarding”, poor accommodation experience - Great location Not at all serene! The windows were NE facing and the minute the sun was up the apartment heated up. Blinds and air conditioner both woefully inadequate to deal with the heat, so the apartment was stifling. Cracking any kind of window meant amplified street noise, trams, people, cars, ambulances from the nearby hospital. We collectively got very little sleep.
- Angelika (6/5): Pleasant -
- Cathryn (9/5): Great spot on the edge of the city and Lygon Street - The location for us was perfect. It was warm in Melbourne while we were there, and there was no AC to the bedrooms.
- Robert (7/5): Good -
- Gambiza (7/5): Had an amazing stay - Good location
Excellent car park
Felt safe and comfortable No aircon in the bedrooms
- Diane (9/5): We will be back and definitely recommend it to friends - The location and especially the view😍
Comfy beds and nice hot water
Well equipped kitchen Not enough toilet rolls for 3 people for 6 days
No directions for rubbish chute and recycling
The window in bedroom was hard to open
No dishwashing liquid or kitchen sponges
- Amanda (6/5): Nice enough but won’t be staying again - Good location
Bed comfy It was a night mare to check in, had to use a link which makes you do a 4 step verification.
It makes you pay $400 holding deposit which is way more then a nights stay or $42.80 for no reason so we had to add the extra $42 onto our night stays we were comfortable with them taking $400.
Also to getting into the parking is a huge event in itself, then the garage door remote was not working so then had to contact them to work out how to get through the garage door.
The apartment bed was clean but bathroom was worn out and dirty.
This is more a student accommodation than a family apartment.
- Melissa (1/5): Would not recommend, would not stay again, dirty, expensive - From a local shop Very dirty. Kitchen greasy, bed stained, bathroom not cleaned, floors sticky. Very disappointing
- Jean (8/5): Very good - Excellent location. Wonderful facilities Huge windows were beautiful but main bedroom was very hot...we were there though when it was over 30 degrees
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Secil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tristan (5/5): Passable -
- Mui (10/5): A pleasant getaway - We have an enjoyable two weeks stay with everything within close proximity, shopping and food outlets are a stone throw away, love the fresh produce n bakes at the queen Victoria market and everything in the surrounds. Appreciate the host prompt replies.
- Diane (8/5): Would stay again providing all working - Location easy to get to. Owners lovely A few things didn’t work
- Renea (9/5): Location and a View for a bargain price - Amazing views and the most comfortable bed and pillows you could ask for! Loved having a balcony and the free TV streaming was a bonus. excellent location - close to Aldi, IGA that's open till late, a great pub and only 10 min walk into the city. Good water pressure in shower. Pool & Gym area is lovely. Great communication. Apartment is somewhat dated - so furniture and fittings look their age. Not a complaint. I think it's a bargain for all the positives.
