Guest Reviews
- Chris (8/5): The apartment is in a good location with very friendly neighbours, there’s a market close by & a railway station wit - The property is excellent there’s a few flights of stairs but when your in Naples you’ll get used to steps it’s all part of the experience.. the rooms are spacious very clean with comfortable beds & well equipped kitchen .. The bathroom is very clean & everything works well. There was nothing to dislike about the property.
- Luana (6/5): Fair accommodation for a short stay in Naples - The host Raffaele was really helpful and met us to provide the keys and info on the flat.
The bed was comfy and it is a large space that could fit 4 or even 6 (I'm not sure if the sofa is a sofa bed tbh) people.
The shower head had a good water pressure and kept temperature fine.
There was a complementary big bottle of water in the fridge. The rooms have AC.
All in all it is an OK stay for our visit and the price seems fair especially if you're in a larger group but I would stay in a different place if I'm ever back into Naples. The flat is worn out, the shower drain didn't drain the shower water quickly enough so it would be full of water whilst showering, the shower box is also small and worn out.
The common area of the building is really worn out - the wall is peeling off cement pretty much everywhere.
For our use, 2 nights spending most of the day out and just getting back for shower and sleep it was OK. But it wasn't cosy for hanging out during the day.
- Freda (9/5): Propert is in a good place, central close to railway and cafes. - Great location and property. Raffeale was awesome, met is, helped with bags and explained everything well! Nothing.
- Lesley (10/5): Perfect for our requirements - Too many steps
- Adrian (9/5): Great base to explore Naples, in a working area, but quiet at night with friendly local people. - Location near the station, quiet at night, powerful shower, good Wi-Fi and air conditioning Little outdated (but photos are accurate)
- Norberts (8/5): - The apartment was spacious and clean. Large rooms, AC in each room, large closets. Everything in apartment was working but with potential for modernization. The apartment is located very close to railway station which is a great spot if traveling by train or getting sightseeing trips which usually have a pickup spot on Garibaldi square. Mind that it is 4th floor if counting ground floor as 1st, quite a lot of steps. Air conditioning condensate is collected in large water bottles which stand on the balcony and have to be emptied by hands. For persons afraid of height it might be challenging as the balcony is very narrow. Although this has nothing to do directly with apartment, the surrounding streets are very dirty.

- Rosina (9/5): - Raffaele, the host, is a star. Flat is located in walkable area from the port and the center. The neighbours are a bit curious but i guess that is the italian way😅
- Olha (8/5): -
- Guest (10/5): Great stay overall - Great host, Raffaele was very helpful throughout our stay. The flat was very spacious for our family and it's quite central
- Dong_Canad (6/5): -
- Thanh (9/5): -
- Lachlan (8/5): Very good - clean and nice aircon with good balcony
- Liyun (9/5): Superb - Very helpful owner, good location No lift, lots of stairs
- Paulette (10/5): A Hidden Gem - Close to everything - Raffaele, the owner is super attentive. He was waiting on us upon arrival and helped us get all our luggage up the stairs. The room is spacious, clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The building is located in the shopping district so there are all types of stands in the street below to purchase fresh fruit, bread pastries, etc. The AC worked great and you could walk to so many restaurants. When it came time to leave once again Raffaele came to help us get our luggage down stairs and called a cab for us. It was like having distant family. Well, it's a 4th floor walk up but after the first day you start to get used to it. My biggest concern was getting our luggage up and down but Raffaele took care of that for us. The area looked a little sketchy but all the people in the area seem to be local residents and there were no issues with the "tourist pick pockets" as these were all locals. We came and went as late as midnight and the area was very safe, dont let that affect your decision
- Philip (9/5): Large & comfortable apartment 5 minutes walk from the historical center - Very large, clean, comfortable & well-equipped 2-bedroom apartment in a typical, animated (during the day - and calm during night) neighbourhood, 5 minutes walking from the historical center. We were let into the apartment a bit before the official 'check-in' time, which was very useful. I didn't meet the owner, but he was very responsive & friendly via WhatsApp. We very much appreciated our stay there. To be recommended! Overall the building & staircase needs renovation. It didn't bother us, nor did we have a problem walking up the stairs several floors, but for elderly people it might be a bit of a challenge.
- Manu (9/5): Really convenient location next to the train station. Very clean. Host very responsive and nice. - Location excellent. To those who have mobility issues, there are 3 quite steep flights of stairs with no lift.
- Hani (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catalina (7/5): Good value and location, but be mindful of the stairs and the neighborhood at night - The apartment is conveniently located just 5 minutes on foot from Napoli Porta Nolana train station, where the Circumvesuviana trains depart, and 15 minutes from Napoli Centrale. It was easy to reach the historical city centre on foot, and we also found good public transport options nearby. The host was very accommodating, communication was smooth throughout our stay, and they met us at the apartment exactly as agreed. Check-out was simple and didn’t require coordination, making our departure stress-free. The apartment matched the photos in the listing and overall offered good value for money. The apartment, located near the intersection of Giacomo Savarese and Sopramuro streets, is on the building's third (and quite tall) floor, with no elevator, which could be challenging for guests with mobility issues. While this may not reflect the reality, as two female guests unfamiliar with Naples, but quite well traveled, we felt the neighborhood might be unsafe at night, particularly when returning late.
- Eoin (9/5): Superb -
- Sebastiano (8/5): Very good -
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful clean apartment only 5 minutes walk from the central station. Lots of restaurants and cafes, plus a great market at the weekend selling clothes, fish, fruit, vegetables and more. Real Naples, not too touristy, will definitely come back to stay in Raffaele's place next time. He was a very helpful host who waited for us until 10pm after our flight arrived. The stairs! 😁
- George (9/5): Superb - Great location and we were greeted by Raphaelo with a big smile right on time. This is a large 2 bedroom apartment and only a short 10 minute walk from Napoli Centrale railway station and 3 minute walk from the Napoli Porta Nolana railway station. You are amongst the honest and buzzy Neapolitan life which my daughter and I really liked. It was a great base to get to Herculaneum, Pompeii by train, and to museums and the historic parts of town by walking. There's a supermarket right opposite and a bakery just 20 metres away so all we needed was at hand. Raphaelo even recommended several places to eat. We're pleased to have listened to his advice 😋 Never felt unsafe, especially with the many mamas keeping an eye on the street life from their balconies. Some of the reviews of others. I thought some of the reviewers that criticised the garbage on the streets and the noisy neighbours should loosen up and enjoy the offerings of the neighbourhood a bit more. If you are not willing to accept the way of life of the place you are visiting, then maybe you should simply not travel and stay at home. Sure we needed to avoid steeping in dog droppings, but then the same can be said about some up-market Parisian suburbs.
- Rahel (10/5): lovely city, but need to revisit the cost on summer time as we find everything close. - Lello was great made it very easy to get boat times for us to visit Ischia...
I wish we had more time to visit the islands. people they are so helpful and lovely. Napoli is harbour city full of crowd and thing to see....
the cost would be great to visit but we sadly we went only to Ischia, however everything was close and we find it to much to risky .
- Christine (6/5): Worked for a short stay but would stay further from the centre for a longer visit. - Spacious, clean, convenient Very basic. Street was dirty. Noisy. Shower temperature unreliable.
- Sarah (10/5): Wonderful spot to stay in Naples! Great location with very hospitable host! - Great location and extremely spacious! Right next to the regional and central train station, and a 15- or 20-minute walk from the ferries. Perfect spot for day trips to Pompeii, Herculaneum, or nearby islands. Host was very responsive and communicative! I wouldn’t say this is something I disliked, but it’s something I would note in case someone has a mobility issue. There are three or four flights of stairs to walk up, but this is standard in many places in Italy. Our host was lovely and helped with the suitcases so that the stairs were no problem :)
- Cameron (9/5): Superb - Big space, owner was very helpful, very close to train station, metro, etc. The neighborhood isn't pretty
- Bori (9/5): Superb - The host was super friendly and helpful during our stay.
The house is in good shape and has all the necessary facilities; we particularly enjoyed using the balcony.
Overall, we had a great time staying in this apartment.
- Cara-jane (9/5): Spacious apartment, easy to reach everywhere. - Loved Rafaellos apartment. Highly recommend.
Bedrooms are huge, and the air conditioning is brilliant. The balcony is great for enjoying the sun and feeling like a local! Close to 2 train stations, so easy to get around, we got the train to pompeii from the station 5 min walk away.
Lovely bakery round the corner that make incredible sandwiches. Full of life and in the market area you can buy fresh fish and fruit and vegetables so close by. Fully equipped kitchen to cook.
We went to Pizzareia Vesuviana round the corner and Trattoria di Giovanni also v near. Everyone was so friendly and helpful to us all over Naples, what an amazing city!
- Isabella (10/5): Spacious and conveniently located apartment - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. Raffael, the host, met us to give us the key and offered a tour of the apartment. He was always available on WhatsApp for any questions, which made our stay even more pleasant.
The apartment is situated on the 3rd floor, it is very spacious (two big bedrooms, both with air conditioning and balcony access)) and it is well-equipped with all the necessary utilities. The location is very convenient as it is only a 15-minute walk to the old town and a 6-minute walk to the nearest metro station. Also, it is close to other stations (train station and Garibaldi station). The street has a few stores where you can get water and groceries, adding to the convenience.
The price and quality ratio were excellent, providing great value for money. One thing to note, unrelated to the apartment or the host, while exploring the neighbourhood, we noticed that there were many homeless people near Garibaldi station. While this didn't affect our stay or our experience, future guests may want to be aware of it.
- Georgios (10/5): Very nice apartment in the Center of Naples... - Raffaele is a great host...
- Andreas (10/5): A Lovely Stay - The property is large, with an abundance of space for you to unload all your luggage and relax. It’s comfortable and in a non-touristy area. The property is also stocked with an array of amenities - you certainly won’t run out of toilet paper and, unlike most places we stayed at in Italy, we had multiple pillows! Raffaele is, by far, the most welcoming and accommodating host we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He frequently checked in via message and ensured we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay. Don’t be put off by the location. Naples is known for it’s grunge, and even though the area may initially appear questionable - it’s the same anywhere you stay in Naples. The only difference is that this property is not in a touristy area. You won’t be bombarded with people trying to sell you things or scam you - it’s full of locals and colourful characters.
- Lindsey (10/5): Lovely stay here - Met by Raphael and had a show round when we arrived accommodating our arrival time which was great as our flight was delayed
Great apartment, very spacious and central to train station and buses and supermarkets. Raphael was kind enough to provide everything you would need such as toiletries on the bathroom and washing up liquid etc for the kitchen and teas and coffee whuch was really very nice. The kitchen was really well equipped with everything needed if you wish to self cater such as pans and saucepans. Very comfortable bed and we loved our stay here. The surrounding streets could be cleaner yet we appreciate its a busy place with lots going on.
- Abra (10/5): Hidden Gem with great amenities - What a pleasant surprise! The place was super big and great value for money. We were only two and had so much space to spread out and enjoy the evening on the balcony. It is right next to the historical center and in the middle of a local food market. You can do your own shopping and get fresh ingredients cheap downstairs. At night it is surprisingly quiet (of course during the day you have the bustling market but we did not mind). The place was very clean and well equipped. Internet is fast. Our host was super sweet and made us feel welcome ❤️ Water can get scalding hot and doesn't easily go down, but I think that's to do with the pipes of building. Very minor.
- Sabina (9/5): Superb - Excellent location. Big comfortable appartment.
- Francesca-jo (10/5): Lovely stay for a few nights and the host was lovely. - We like the amount of space, how it was close to the train station and not to far of a walk to the centre, and nearby restaurants.
- Vadzim (9/5): Superb -
- Amanda (9/5): Excellent apartment - Great apartment. Walking distance to everything. The bedrooms were massive and clean. The person that checked us in was very nice and good at communicating. I would definitely stay here again.
- Ryan (10/5): Clean, spacious, and central location! - Perfect stay, location was great and easily walkable to main attractions. The flat was very clean and spacious. Raffaele was very helpful and met us to provide the keys. Would definitely recommend! 😊
- Alexandra (9/5): Perfect place to come home to after long days of sightseeing. - Really great location and stay for the value. Host was exceedingly nice and helpful whenever we needed help. Large cozy rooms with a fantastic balcony. Perfect place to stay to get to know Napoli.
- Maria (10/5): I didn't expect so much for that money ;) - Location was excellent, in the heart of Naples. The building isn't new and the staircase was only partly renovated, but it gives impression of the ambient of this non-average city. The apartment is very spacious (two big separate bedrooms with huge beds), with all necessary goods, there's even a rest space and a little balcony. The kitchen is fully equipped and you can even find the ironing set. The owner lives nearby and is always ready to help. Be aware that there is no lift and you have to take the suitcases to the third floor by stairs. It is obvious in this part of the city.
