• Michael (10/5): Excellent choice for a roomy, clean, modern and private place on the beach. - The units are new. Probably built in the last 2-3 years. No wear and tear. Quality construction. Nice size bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. Large deck looking out to the ocean. Access to snorkeling - walk on to the beach - just 50 metres to the north. Lots of fish and colourful coral about 100 metres out. Everything was good.

• Karen (10/5): The building and the amenities were well thought out and we lacked for nothing. It was a perfect accomodation for us! - Perfect location, super clean and well appointed. Great layout of the bungalow made our stay comfortable and not feel cramped. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bed comfortable, the view spectacular. The hosts were very responsive to any questions and to an issue that arose during our stay. We will definitely be back! The early morning roosters, but you can’t help that!
• Rachel (10/5): Perfect spot for couples - We have just had 10 days in this beautiful unit right on the waters edge. Spotted quite a few whales as we sat on the deck. Very well equipped...full kitchen which was perfect for us as we cooked our own meals. Comfy bed looking straight out to the sea, great shower. Store just down the road for extra supplies as well as a great cafe. Also car and bike hire just down the road. Lovely hosts. We were happy

• Claire (10/5): Blissful stay - We loved our stay here. Being so close to the water was great. The sound of the waves was memorising. The accommodation is just as advertised and we could not have had a better stay. Great value.
• Grant (10/5): Perfect unit in the perfect location - Perfect spot. Right on the beach. Saw Whales every day just beyond the reef. Units are new and were very clean and well appointed. Air Condition was a bonus. Large deck with small pool was well used. The location was perfect - Some beautiful sunsets - and there were three bar / restaurants within 400m walk along the beach. We found the best happy hour at the Crown. Lots of options for relaxing, with outside seats on the deck, and loungers and table and chairs in front of the unit by the beach. Also came with Kayaks. There was some random pieces of snorkeling equipment, but if you want to go in the lagoon - bring some with your or hire some while over there. Beach had a lot of rocks, but didn't impact things too much.

• Nitty (10/5): THE spot for peace, privacy and pure serenity. - The hosts were so lovely and accommodated our requests so easily. The property was beyond expectations. Such a beautiful location, with a carefully decorated room, with incredible facilities and utmost privacy. It's the perfect place to experience the laid back lifestyle of Raro. We had no issues with pests (which was a problem when we stayed at another resort), lots of kitchen appliances to make ourselves at home, and the little pool out front was such an excellent touch. Surrounded by the lovely sounds of nature, minus any of the worries. If you're going to stay in Raro, I highly recommend Manta Ray. The best vacation of our lives just from our choice of staying here. The stay was SO good, it was almost impossible to leave. My partner had to be dragged out of the pool on our last day.

From the moment we arrived we were in complete awe (this is at 2am, so imagine our reaction when we woke up to the full beauty this place had to offer). Like many others who have stayed here, the photos do not show how breathtaking this place truly is. An easy stroll to nearby eateries, resorts and convenience store. Equiped with basic amenities, air con (a must for us), Wifi, TV (Netflix, YouTube plus chrome) etc. This place is immaculate and well maintained. Plunge pool we took full advantage of and kayaks provided were also an added bonus. The bed was perfect for us (so so comfortable) and the beach of course, absolutely beautiful and a mere steps from the door (literally swam every single day) Leaving 😭

• Anthony (10/5): Private Villa with Gorgeous Pool on the Beach - We loved our stay here. It was hard to leave the private pool attached to the villa that overlooked the beach and sunsets. Short walks to restaurants including OTB (a must for $69 set menu) and Waterline.
• Lee-ann (10/5): Amazing, comfortable (best mattress), stunning unit at Manta-Ray - Where do I start? I LOVED absolutely everything about unit 1 at Manta-Ray Beach Units. It was spectacular and by far exceeded my expectations! Communication with Manu and Paeru was excellent. The check-in process went so smoothly and both were very accommodation when we changed our plans last minute. The unit was spotless when we arrived with everything you need for either a long-term or short-term stay. Fully equipped with a lovely oven/stove, fridge, kettle, toaster. Loads of tasteful crockery and cutlery. Some spices and condiments. The mattress WAS AMAZING!!! A lovely medium plush-top mattress - I had the best sleep ever. I have a bad back and the mattress was amazing. I slept like a baby. The beautiful sheet made with sarongs...WOW! The aircon was such a life-saver as it was very warm. There was even a sofa-couch at the foot of the bed. Small top load washing machine. BEAUTIFUL bathroom and stunning tiles. Love the ceiling even - loved staring at it. I will miss waking up to the sound of waves. I loved how the pool was right on the deck. We went snorkelling and saw an amazing amount of fish AND A TURTLE right in the lagoon in front of our unit. And then walked up the beach, hosed the sand off at the handy hose right at the base of the stairs, and climbed into the fresh-water pool. We had a blast. Some fresh fruit were provided upon arrival and we enjoyed the fruit and a cup of coffee whilst lazing in the pool at sunset. I cannot compliment the property enough. We will most definitely be back to stay at Manta-Ray Beach Units!!! Manu and Paeru have other properties as well and I cannot wait to return and hopefully book a few of their places for us and family to stay in. THANK YOU!!! I love your unit.

• Christina (10/5): An unforgettable beachfront escape with stunning views! - We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Manta Ray - Unit 1. Paeru and Manu were exceptional hosts, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The property is stunning, with a breathtaking view that we enjoyed every day. Being beachfront, we loved relaxing by the pool and watching the waves roll in. One of the highlights was spotting whales from our room nearly every day – such an unforgettable experience! The location couldn’t be better, with a vehicle hire company just a short walk away, as well as great cafes and restaurants. The two units on the property offer a great option for families or friends traveling together, as they’re next to each other, but you still get your own privacy. Our friends who were staying at nearby resorts couldn’t stop raving about our accommodation and wished they’d booked here too! Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay – we’ll definitely be back!

The pool was a great touch to the unit & really improved the experience of our stay. I loved how close we were to the beach & the privacy as well. What made the experience even better was that the apartment was polished, modern but still had a touch of Raro too. We both really liked how there were additional features such as; laundry detergent, coils, coffee, tea, Netflix, etc. Having these features made us not want to leave the unit. Honestly, couldn’t fault anything with this accommodation.
