- ILIAS (10/5): Comfortable apartment and location, modern and clean. - Location was good, private parking, close to Mackenzie beach, the freeway and the airport, newly developed land. Building was modern. Area would normally be quiet, there was some noise from works in an adjacent newly erected building. Much preferred this location as opposed to downtown Larnaca. Wifi code was not written in the apartment, I had to ask via whatsapp instead (quick response by the landlord, so not really an issue).

- Ivica (9/5): - Sve je odlicno,
Stan, fina lokacija, cisto, udobno, toplo. Sve pohvale Jedino sto bih zamerila je kasni ulazak u apartman.
- Noor (7/5): God lejlighed i byggeri området - Indretning af lejligheden og alt var rent og pænt. Der er for meget byggearbejde rundt omkring og det larmer meget.
- Andrey (7/5): Could be so much better, if someone actually takes care of the apartment - That was our third time renting an apartment in this area - and, sadly, the first time we didn’t really enjoy it. But let’s start with the positives before I sound like a full-time Tripadvisor critic. There are a few:
1. Location. Hard to complain here. The beach is close and actually nice (not the “technically counts as a beach” kind). There are a few decent restaurants and shops within walking distance, and the better ones are just a 10–15 minute drive away - perfect for those who like combining sunshine with good food.
2. Apartment layout. Surprisingly practical. The rooms are spacious, and whoever designed it clearly understood that “open space” doesn’t mean “waste half of it for no reason.”
3. Internet. Fast enough for work, Netflix, and even a mild YouTube binge (around 200 Mbps). Unless you’re trying to download the entire Internet, you’ll be fine.
4. Parking. Dedicated, shaded parking spot - a rare luxury that keeps your car at “human temperature” instead of “freshly baked lasagna.”
And that’s…pretty much it, unfortunately. The rest of the experience didn’t quite live up to the humble expectations. But it was the unforgettable experience that the service company (Local Host) promised, at least. While the apartment itself was quite nice, Local Host clearly skipped the chapter called “maintenance” in their manual. This was my second rental managed by them, and somehow they managed to underperform twice. The first apartment at least had the novelty of being completely new (we were the first visitors), but this one felt like the sequel nobody asked for.
Let’s go over the highlights (or lowlights):
1. Cleanliness. Or, more accurately, lack of cleanliness. The balcony looked like it hadn’t seen a mop since the Roman Empire, and the towels seemed to have lived previous lives - possibly as car wash rags. So, the service company isn’t even trying.
2. Tableware. Flea-market edition. Some pans were bent/damaged beyond recognition and their non-stick coating was halfway to freedom (great if you’re into microplastics). It felt like someone found them at a garage sale, got nostalgic, and decided to give them one last chance.
3. Missing tableware. The minimalist lifestyle. We had to drink wine from beer glasses…classy, I know - because there were only two wine glasses, and they didn’t even match. Same story with the regular glasses. Either previous guests started a glass-breaking festival, and Local Host never bothered to restock them. Or Local Host runs a strict “bring your own cup” policy.
4. Greediness. Level expert. Not a single dishwasher or washing machine tablet. I don’t expect a full cleaning supply store, but leaving nothing feels like a message: “Wash your sins, not your dishes.”
5. Lighting. Romantic, but not on purpose. Most bulbs were either dying, or eco-friendly to the point of being decorative. Imagine having eight lamps and only one working properly (see the photo) - the chosen one. Greta approves.
6. Communication. Local Host promised to send check-in info at 12:00. By 13:00, I had to poke them myself. Not ideal if you’re arriving late and don’t want to play “Guess the Apartment.”
I could go on, but you get the idea.
- Mary (8/5): Overall great location and get comfortable apartment - Roomy … 2 bathrooms … huge balcony … good location Foyer was dirty

- Rend (10/5): Exceptional - BEAUTIFUL apartment! Loved the colors of the apartment and the view from the balcony. It was very clean and the host was super friendly. I will definitely come back
- Sanja (8/5): Close to the beach. It is going to be perfect in a couple of years. - Modern and clean apartment In close proximity to the beach( 5 minutes walking ). There was a tiny with basic articles like shampoos and toilet paper. No dishwasher detergent was provided.
A small number of glasses and plates that are not enough for more than 2 or 3 people.
The construction work is all around, so there is not such a great view from one quite nice and spacious balcony.
- Odeh (5/5): Passable - Location very close to airport The appartment wasnt clean at all
