- Peter (1/5): Do not book, no property, will not refund, comms silent - Nothing. This seller cancelled upon arrival. Then has not issued a refund and is now not contactable. It's a scam. Do not book. Everything. This seller cancelled upon arrival. Then has not issued a refund and is now not contactable. It's a scam. Do not book.

- Dylan (3/5): Poor - Location was good Shower didn't work, no windows to open, cold water, tiny, and 130 pound. Scandalous
- Charles (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sophie (5/5): Central location for a passable place to sleep - Great location! 2 minute walk to Covent Garden so a great base to get around London easily. The room smelt a little damp - the extractor fan was in the toilet with was on the opposite side of the room to the shower. Bedding and towels were clean but the whole place felt a little bit grubby.
- Rudolf (10/5): I would book here again when in London, thank you - Very nice communication and flexible person, thank you /
- Gerallt (6/5): Great location, good place to stay, some minor maintenance and a deep clean would make it brilliant. - The location is excellent with a good price. I paid £80 for one night and compared to prices in London, especially this location, it was an excellent price. I stayed in room 8 on the 4th floor, which has a balcony. It was easy to walk to the main landmarks in London with an excellent cafe a few doors down. I'll definitely stay here again (if the price remains good). This feedback is meant to be constructive. The room and property is in need of some maintenance. Just a bit of maintenance would make the property much better. All floor landings have piles of either clean or old laundry. Whilst storage is clearly an issue in the property, it makes for a poor first impression. The outer landing door leading to rooms 7, 8 and 9 wasn't labelled so it wasn't immediately clear where my room was. The room is in need of a good deep clean. Repairing the fan in the bathroom will help prevent mould building up. The shower drain trap needs replacing. The curtain was missing from one of the widows and I was woken with the sunrise. There was no key to lock the balcony door. Whilst the neighbouring room doesn't have access (the cleaner showed me that the door is locked closed), it would be possible to get onto the balcony from the floor above. This makes it impossible to secure the room and single females might feel uncomfortable with this. There was no street noise, but there was noise from the neighbouring guests. This wasn't terrible (like many hotels tbh), and they were respectful in the morning. But I would take ear plugs and an eye mask just in case. The balcony needs tidying up and the cigarette ends and bottle tops picking up.
Don't be put off, the room itself is very small but perfect for somewhere to sleep for a couple of nights. The bed is a double, not a king.
- Gemmell (1/5): if you looking for a place for a decent location yes but apsrtt from that terrible - the location I just wanted to say this place was surprisingly bad we ordered food there was not one plate not one bowl there was 1 spoon so we was eating with our hands no tvs no washing machine no microwave to heat up anything 1 pillow in the bedrooms which are battered and old no access to the balcony that's promoted on booking.com no tvs beds were uncomfortable. all of it except where it was
- Tamta (1/5): Very bad experience - The location was great. There was no towels, soap, hairdryer, toilet paper… We were forced to buy everything. The host ignored us and blocked my number, after i asked him a couple times to bring towels and hairdryer, (he told me that cleaners were going to bring it but no one came). Also the room is in a very bad condition. Everything is old and the smell is nasty. Also room is dirty there is a lot of dust. Also WiFi is only on the first floor near the door but we are at the fourth floor. Doors are very unsafe and you can hear everything from outside. Only good in this room is bathroom it was new but from 4 lights works only 1. Also they should clean every day but no one came in a 5 days. Today we are leaving the room and want to lock our baggage before flying they have lockers but i don’t know how to get to the host, he blocked my number also didn’t answers by mail.
- Prince (9/5): Superb -
- Samuel (1/5): Awful, do not stay here! - Location was perfect right in the centre of town This place is bad. Don’t stay here. Try and stay somewhere else. The showerhead didn’t work. The toilet seat was broken. They didn’t provide any toilet roll. One towel that looked like it was brand-new 15 years ago. The door was bolted. You couldn’t get out onto the balcony, it was hard to open the doors with the key code. They didn’t work first time Generally dirty and filthy difficult to get hold of the guy when we needed to get in my honest opinion of this place if you can find somewhere else to stay, do it it’s not worth the money.
Also no TV and no Wi-Fi
- Beard (3/5): Poor -

- Veeyakantira (1/5): Poor phone signal in the area, hygiene concerns. The photos did not match the actual property - The location is excellent—just a few steps from shops, restaurants, and bars. It’s also conveniently close to Euston Station and only a few stops from Tottenham Court underground. Complicated smart lock: Despite being described as a smart lock, the entrance system was overly complicated. We spent over 30 minutes outside trying to access the property, which was incredibly frustrating.
Poor phone signal in the area: This was a major issue. The phone signal was extremely weak, and I struggled to contact the host—he couldn't even hear me properly. In a situation where assistance was needed, this made things even more stressful.
Lack of cooperation from the host: I requested an early check-in around 1–1:30pm, as one of our friends (traveling from Geneva) arrived before the rest of us (coming from Birmingham). There was no response from the host—only automated messages with multiple codes for different doors. There was no personal assistance or effort to accommodate us.
Insufficient towels: There were only two towels provided in each room, despite the booking being for four people. This was inconvenient and unacceptable given that we paid for four guests.
Hygiene concerns: We found a large piece of rotten pizza left in the oven when trying to heat up our food. This was a serious hygiene issue and completely unacceptable.
The shower in Room 3 wasn't functioning properly, even though it’s supposed to be an an-suite. As a result, I was unable to take a proper shower and had to leave the room to use the shared bathroom instead. The photos did not match the actual property—there was no dining table as shown in the listing images
- Wayne (9/5): Excellent location, will definitely use again, Thank You - Had problems with entry to the apartment but the owner was VERY patient and we gained entry😃😃 Very good
- Muhammed (5/5): Passable -
- Geo (7/5): Good -
- Nick (8/5): Excellent - Location price and amenities excellent.
No negatives, would have been nice to have some shower gel and a coffee machine.
- Blessing (1/5): Complete inefficiency. And non existent customer service. They don’t care if you leave a bad review. - Nothing. No wifi. Called and called no one answered until I left. Worst experience so far for me No phone network I have to go outside the building to make calls. No WiFi. I was in complete isolation. Called and called for them to give me the password for the WiFi no response. Sent messages no reply till I left. Am sure the place is not run by its owner because they are actually running the place down. They should do better
- Guerino (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amy (5/5): Great base for one night - Great location, bed was quite comfortable and toilet and shower in room. Had to ask for toilet paper, no kettle, very noisy at night.
- Leanne (7/5): Perfect location, basic but comfortable and clean - Comfy bed
Location was perfect (we came to be in central Covent Garden for Wembley (Newcastle match)
Working shower hot water
Room 8 was warm (we could control heater) The first room we had booked the keypad did not work luckily the worker was there when we arrive and changed us room no problem once we were in Room 8 that worked no problem
No towels (just bought our own from Primark round the corner) there was a lovely man working there who we could have asked but we weren’t that bothered about getting our own
- Abdullah (3/5): My stay in UK is always fair. - I was in Muslim fasting. Therefore, I didn't experience challenge or comfy in breakfasting
- Jonathan (9/5): Superb -
- Jonathan (8/5): Very good -
- Muhammad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (1/5): never again - nothing
- Myumin (1/5): AVOID THIS - There is nothing you can like about , broken bed , dirty sheets and not clean at all.Just avoid these scammers.Host doesn't care about anything There is nothing you can like about , broken bed , dirty sheets and not clean at all.Just avoid these scammers.Host doesn't care about anything
- Kerrie (7/5): Good -
- Vincent (10/5): Exceptional - The size of the flat was good, the area was great and good price too. Might be booking for next week No TV, but that's not a deal breaker. Just have a laptop with you.
- Jonathan (3/5): Good potentials, needs cleaning before guest arrivals not after. Each day we stayed the cleaner - Lovely room and first night. The bed was super comfy and the balcony could be nice if clean and tidy and potentially amenable to brief visits outside if somehow there was changes to allow the balcony space to separate each rooms balcony doors to stop them being too close to next door neighbours. The shower was good first night then problematic the second and disrupted our stay. The shower breaking and the balcony space being shared with the next door room only because of their and our curtains being the only way to see outside so if outside you intrude on their privacy and they on your comfort freedom and calm relaxing potential space. The cleanliness of outside was poor and needed rubbish clearing up. The door key is a great idea but we were not given the codes until far beyond reasonable. We had to each day call numerous times and text numerous numbers to find the right information and that was beyond check in 3pm so we were upset. Please fix this as the property when balcony facing is lovely. The other side is horrible view and not worth staying in. Each day the cleaners arrived to clean and not provide towels etc after 3pm which was uncomfortable and potentially disruptive and unpleasant.
- Mohammed (1/5): Dissatisfied and Disappointed - Nothing I was very disappointed with my stay, the bed frame was broken, we couldn’t sleep on the bed so we just managed on the sofa, also the bathroom light was not working and the toilet seat was broken. The heating in the main room works on and off and it was cold most of the night, my son hated the look of the sofa as it was not a sofa bed and took a train back home, I requested a full refund as this was not what I was expecting from what was advertised and the host ignored my messages.
There was also only one towel between three people and no blanket or extra duvet for third person to sleep on the sofa, we were tired from a four hour drive and came to a cold and unwelcoming apartment
We had no WiFi connection either, we all came here to spend day with our son who went back home, this is unfair for us, DO NOY BOOK THIS APARTMENT, NOT WORTH IT
- Tampus (5/5): Passable -
- Gaines (8/5): Very good -
- Aftab (2/5): was a very frustrating experience. - Waste of money I'll say I had requested a queen-sized room, but the room was far too small. It lacked a television, hangers for clothes and jackets, soap, and shampoo. There was only one towel, despite the room being booked for two people. Additionally, there were no tea or coffee facilities. The worst part was that it was raining, and we couldn't get inside. When I called for assistance, my call was disconnected, and my text message wasn't replied to until the next morning. There was no support at all, which was incredibly frustrating.
- Heidi (4/5): Disappointing -
- Asid (1/5): No hot water . Th place to hang your clothes just 2 small table was there . I catch cold . - I didn't like noting about this room it was one of my nightmare nights. I suppose I stayed 2 nights, but after the first night, I ran away Evry things . Because I was surprised at the beginning, I didn't enjoy Notting
- Dexcee (4/5): Disappointing - I like that it is accessible to tourist spots and restaurants. I don’t like upon checking in because it’s too late. The host is not accessible. Waiting too much outside and freezing because no update before the check in.
- Kejdi (3/5): Poor -
- Sara (1/5): cold night, no hot shower and dangerous - The location is indeed excellent Bad communication, when I arrived they didn't give me the correct entry code and I was locked out of the apartment until I was able to contact the property. The place is not an entire apartment as stated in the description, you will be sharing the apartment with another room. The heater in the place doesn't work and the hot water in the shower doesn't either. It was a terrible night, luckily it was only a few nights.
- Panagiotis (1/5): This apartment did not meet our expectations, and we would not recommend it to anyone. - The only good thing about this flat was the location, nothing else. -There was no communication from the host, and when we tried calling, no one answered.
-The apartment was dirty and not properly maintained.
-A broken window locker allowed cold air to enter the apartment. We reported this to the host and waited 9 hours for assistance, but no one showed up. This forced us to leave the apartment and book another one.
-The apartment was advertised as suitable for three people, but it could realistically only accommodate two.
-There was no cold water in the apartment, which made using the facilities difficult.
-Basic essentials like toilet paper (and towels for the third person) were not provided.
- Grace (5/5): Location and Layout Good. - The design and location were great. There seems to be a lacking of communication as I didn't receive any information regarding check in. Thankfully the cleaner was there when I arrived who set me up after speaking with the manager
- Piotr (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lijomol (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sherry (1/5): Bad - Awful experience. They didn't turn up and left us stranded and having to find elsewhere
- Elaine (7/5): Good - Couldnt get WI FI could have done with a wifi code
- Othman (2/5): It was a bad experience as the flat was cold with no heater and no hot water in showers. - The location and it was cozy The heater and the lights in the living room weren’t working. Also the water heater was not working. So no hot water and we had to boil water for showering. Although I keep reminding them about the issue by sending text messages and also in booking mail, it wasn’t fix. They stated sofa bed in the room but it was only normal sofa and it is not comfortable to sleep on.
- Damien (1/5): Not a great experience - Having to wake another guest up to get in the room hardly any bedding
- Hess (1/5): Complete nightmare, maybe a scam, unsafe, not secure, unsanitary, non-communicative property contact - The location would have been great if we had been able to stay there. We complained immediately upon arrival to the property contact, and to Booking.com soon after our trip, and we are still waiting for a resolution 6 weeks later. Twice before our arrival, I emailed the property contact some questions, but they never responded. We tried calling the property a few times with no success. I called them a few weeks later, and they answered. I told them that we wanted a full refund because we weren't able to stay at the property due to the poor conditions, and they took my name and info and said they would reach out to Booking.com. We haven't heard from the property contact since then, and Booking.com told us they are still waiting for the property contact to respond to them.
We couldn't enter the building using the digicode provided, even after watching the provided video instructions. Someone coming out let us in. We used the digicode instructions to enter our room easily.
There was a lack of basic amenities: only a few squares of toilet paper left, no bath towels, no shampoo, and only a tiny amount of hand soap.
The room was dirty: covered in dust, and there was a sticky substance on the floor.
The property felt unsafe:
There was an opening above the door where someone could climb through.
A closet was packed full with bags and items that were touching the water heater, which is a fire hazard.
The door to the room opened outward, meaning that someone could block our door from the outside.
When we opened our room door, the carpet got pushed up, creating a major tripping hazard.
The room door or lock did not look very sturdy, like a swift kick would easily knock it down.
There was a half closet in the room with a broken door on it stuffed with broken items and perhaps garbage, and we were concerned that this closet might actually go around the corner and be accessible from the hallway, making the room even less secure.
We had to book another hotel, spending way more money than we budgeted.
- Walker (4/5): Disappointing -
- Michaaa (2/5): It was dirty and very poorly equipped. Scary for a woman alone. - No key, just a lock keypad It was dirty (I took photos), very poorly equipped. There wasn't even a curtain on one of the windows, soap or even a bedside lamp. I wouldn't recommend it at all for the price.
I wouldn't recommend it to a woman traveling alone either. I didn't feel safe and put a chair behind my door. I could hear my next-door neighbours (very poor insulation) and a man tried to open my door by entering the code several times in the middle of the night. Maybe he got the wrong door, but I was scared.
What's more, I had to send message to the host several times to get instructions on how to access the accommodation, despite having booked at 7am. I didn't get the instructions until early afternoon, and then only after I'd asked several times.
- Amber (1/5): Incredibly disappointing when it was an 18th birthday treat for my special needs daughter and it made her very upset! - The location was good Cold, cold and cold! No toilet roll. No heating. No hot water. No extra blankets. Peeling wall paper. Cupboard door off that made a draught. Had to sleep in our clothes (with our coats on) . Lack of communication.
- Les (7/5): Nice comfortable property Great location for everything London. - THe code sent to open the door was incorrect but thankfully the cleaner was working, there was only an email address for contact which didnt reply.
There was no TV in the property and no Wi Fi
- Colin (1/5): Very disappointing!! - Good location Security system didn’t work, when we finally got to a room it hadn’t been cleaned. We waited for 1 hour for a cleaner which never arrived. We left the flat and booked into a hotel
- Steve (5/5): Passable - Location
- Chris (1/5): Disappointing as I couldn't get in the apartment. - Nothing as my booking was cancelled on arrival. Left in the cold for hours. Still waiting for my refund. Nothing. I am only asking for my refund after 6 days.
- Paula (10/5): Brilliant! - Great location and superb value for money Nothing to dislike
- Joanne (1/5): No heating Freezing cold with no towels - Location The flat had no heating it was absolutely freezing and no towels so we had to dry ourselves on our T-shirts from the day before, these two things are basic standard, I called sina 9 times to discuss this and he said I would be refunded but no apology no refund very unfair to say the least.
- Matan (5/5): Not recommended - The location is wonderful The pictures somehow gave the idea of a bigger room, thats not what you get there.
Small room, cold water in the shower (takes time to get warm)
The heater in the room doesn’t do the job,
And the real problem is the stuff, the people that owns the place gives the feeling like they doing me a favour that they responded to my messages
I didn’t get check in instructions to the room!
Needed to search for the owner number, text him and call him to get the check in instructions, finally half an hour before the check in time (15pm)
- Lewis (1/5): DONT GO HERE! - Nothing was good, awful hosts. DON’T GO HERE, ITS A SCAM! We turned up at 2:30 outside the property after confirming that our check in time was at 3pm. We wait and wait and wait past 3pm and hear nothing. We call the number given and it takes numerous times to get through. Once it is answered, they’re are less than helpful. I then receive a message 20 minutes past our check in time telling me that the property is flooded so we can’t stay.
- Bryce (3/5): Absolutely filthy, lot’s of potential to do better with just a little more attention - Location was good Honestly, the dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed. Arrived to unmade bed from previous guest, bins overflowing, dirty cotton buds with earwax still on them on the side board, mould on the shower head (also partially blocked) and the entire place was caked in dust and dirt.
- Julie (1/5): Cancelled at 3pm by proprietor - I recieved a call at 3pm on the day cancelling the booking leaving me stranded in London and having to find alternative accommodation. It was stated that there was a leak although I'm not sure why we were only notified at the check in time, and not a minute before. Was offer offered another accommodation which was miles away.
Beware when booking this venue
- Hannah (1/5): Terrible. Had to move to another accomadion, the owner was extremely unprofessional and blocked me after asking question - DO NOT STAY HERE. Great location, but the accommodations was vile, i had to book a new hotel. Waste of money. There was no heating in the middle of November, there was no hot shower water, there were bugs on the ceiling and poop stains on the bed. No Wi-Fi I was truly mortified by this experience. The owner of the flat BLOCKED me after voicing my concerns. I have never had this bad of an experience and i am so upset. Do not waste ur money. DO NOT STAY HERE. - Lorraine (1/5): Non existent over spent and disappointed 18th birthday ruined! - Nothing we didn’t even get in to the property as the owner cancelled it 2hours before we were due to check in! Messed up all our plans cost more in accommodation and were useless in sorting out anything else. Ended up spending another £400 in accommodation hotel miles away from the venue we needed for a show and then stuck in traffic in a taxi getting back to the show and missed half hour of it. Rubbish service and not responding to my txts or emails and haven’t changed the status to canceled maybe they need time to process this but we are in limbo and very much out of pocket.
- Cathy (1/5): Bad - We were unable to access our room when we returned from the theatre. When we finally spoke to someone the next morning it became apparent that the electric door lock needed new batteries. I was advised to go and buy a battery to get access to the room to get our things. We did not even get an apology a d are yet to receive a refund.
- Shila (1/5): Horrible, lack of communication from the owners. Not recommended. - There was nothing to like about the flat. The owner did not give code for the door and we were standing outside it for 30 mins trying to contact the owner. Did not pick up the phone nor answered the text. Rang a random button on the side and someone answered, came to open the door and told us the code for the door had changed. Did not get the code for the flat either. Had to ask the worker there. There was no heater in the room as it was freezing cold. Had to book another place to stay for the night as the place there was not homely at all. No one would survive the night there. Would not recommend. Everything. Booked the room thinking it would have a balcony only to be faced with fire exit. The room was freezing cold and no radiator to be found. Called owner and texted them for the code to the door but they were terrible with communication. Did not message me back at all. Toilet flush was weak too, had to flush 5/6 for it to go done. Left the flat after 30 mins of entering. The flat itself looked unsafe to live at. There was no free wifi too and could not use the mobile data as no network around the area. What ever was listed down for the flat was hardly there.
- Albert (2/5): Very poor -
- Keeley (1/5): Bad -
- Christopher (1/5): The worst booking dot com I have ever stayed in - Nothing There were no staff, their email box was full and they never answered my queries.
There were no towels or bathmat, so no shower in the morning as no where to dry.
Lights, horribly bright , why not put dimmers in.?
Also a bedside switch to the ceiling g lights would be useful rather than stumping around in tge dark
- Joanne (1/5): Horrific. Dirty. Absolutely stunk and dirty linen. DO NOT BOOK. - Nothing. Apart from location, which be ones irrelevant. It was dirty. Mouldy. Full of hairs. Dirty Linen. Mattress broken in the middle. Smelly & dirty bedding. Broken lights. Wall paper peeling off. Hole in wall. No heating. I was freezing. AVOID. Should be removed by Booking.Com. Incorrect door codes given. Stranded outside property for 45 minutes. Flat unnumbered/unmarked. Atrocious customer service. Uninhabitable!
- Yehuda (1/5): The worst place I have ever stayed! Not worth the price at all - The location is quite convenient, but you can find more comfortable places in the area The worst place I have ever been! Do not approach, you have been warned!
I'll start by saying that I stay every other week in camps and accommodations around the world and in London in particular that I order through Booking so I know what I'm talking about and I have a lot of experience...
I arrived at the place in the evening and didn't get the code to enter. from noon) I tried to call the host's number many times and he did not answer.. not only did he not answer but also rejected the call several times.. I sent him a message and it took a long time for him to respond.. I was left standing outside in the cold... there is no good reception there at all and there is no Wi-Fi .. So I had to walk a few blocks away to communicate with people...
After a long time he sent me a message with the code but it didn't work.. Then again I waited a long time.. After a long time I finally got in.. I got to the worst room I've ever been in where ever.. no internet reception at all.. I wanted to go in to take a shower after the flight I arrived. But there was no towel!! This is the only place in the world I've been to and there were no towels.. !!
I again sent a message to the host but of course he still hasn't answered me yet... also there is noise from the neighbors hearing everything from one room to the other... it should be noted that there was also no soap in the shower... in short the worst place I've ever been...
- Emmanuel (6/5): Pleasant -
- Wilson (1/5): Horrendous night. - Communication with the host was very bad, tried calling numerous times and kept going to voicemail. Sent many text messages and they gave me 2 more different numbers to call. I was waiting outside the property for about 30 min for them to give me a code.
We came inside and there was not numbers in any of the doors in the building. They told us to go 4th floor room 8 and we had to try the cod in the 3 rooms that were on 4th floor.
We finally came in to find a dirty room, dirty toilet with empty toilet roll, NO TOWELS, pillows haven't been changed.
We had to leave, host never answered back again.
I would like my money back.
Stressful experience.
- Hannah (1/5): Bad - Geographical location was good TERRIBLE HOST. Does not respond to messages. I arrived at my stay in London and after being told my room was ready, it was not. A man showed up just after my arrival asking me to leave so he can clean it. I had already grabbed my luggage from the storage facility I was paying for, so I was left with no option other than leaving my luggage in the room while he cleaned. 2 nights, 2 people, and we were given 1 towel. The next day two strangers walked straight into my locked apartment room. This occurred because the other guests booking confirmation provided them with the same door code as my door and inadequate directions to their apartment door. After speaking with them, we confirmed that their room number which is different than mine had the exact same door code as my apartment, enabling them to get straight in. There is no deadbolt. This was very unsettle to me, and this whole experience is so unsafe and unprofessional. When I reached out to the landlord he read the messages and did not answer. I tried reaching out to booking.com and no response either. It was a terrible stay as I felt very unsafe with this issue as random people could enter my door, and I feel very upset that the landlord’s would be so careless with such a serious issue.
- Mahammed (8/5): Very good - Location and ambience Electronic unresponsive Door locks at first.
Adjacent room is not sound proof
- Monica (7/5): Good -
- Manuel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christopher (5/5): We weren’t aware it was a shared property , instructions on how to get into the correct flat weren’t clear and we both g -
- Irina (7/5): Ok-ish for a night or two, but for the love of God, clean this place. - The location is central and within walking distance of the main attractions. It's also close to metro stations, which basically makes the whole city accessible to you. Our flat was no. 8, which i think might be the cheapest in their offer, so we did not expect much. The bed was comfortable, and the flat had a balcony with a partial view to the London Eye. We only spent one night there, so the minimal facilities and crammed space was not that big of a deal and, as I said above, we were expecting it. My main issue with the flat was the glaring lack of proper cleaning.
The toilet was dirty and it was obvious that it hasn't been cleaned properly in a long while. The towels provided (only 2 towels - one body towel and one face towel for two people) were damp and smelly (I think they were clean, they smelled of chlorine- probably not dried properly after cleaning).
Another issue was the lack of communication with the staff. Check in is at 15:00, and we got there by an early plane. I contacted them on Booking and on WhatsApp to try and ask if there was any chance to at least leave our bags there. I wouldn't have minded if the answer was 'no', since the check in hour was clearly stated in the description. What did bother me was the fact that they did not answer on Booking at all. On WhatsApp I got a short answer that I should contact them on the day of our arrival. I did so and they never answered.
Facility wise, even though I expected a small place, the main thing it lacks is a dresser or something to properly store some clothes. There are two nightstands where you could put some stuff, but not anything big enough for more than 1-2 nights's worth of packing for two people.
The walls are also really thin so be prepared to intimately bond with your neighbours.
All in all it was ok, but I wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay. Or, at least, not flat no. 8.
- Andrew (6/5): Great location, quiet street, comfortable bed, good price which in part helped to forgive the faults - Great location, comfortable bed, reasonable price. Lack of attention to detail, with cleaning, maintenance, furnishing, practical use and security. Cleaning poor including limescale on shower screen, sink not clean….etc. Poor maintenance like a curtain missing, shower drain open and so on... odd bits of unrelated furniture but no where to store or hang stuff not even a hook and no light reachable from the bed. No lock to secure roof from shared balcony. No instruction for wall heater, It’s a shame, it makes what could have been a nice but simple budget experience a bit of a challenge.
- Nicoló (1/5): Bad -
- Olivia (1/5): They cancelled our booking when we were outside - DO NOT BOOK !!! A SCAM !! Me and my friend were left stranded outside the apartment and an automatic message came through that they had cancelled our booking . We tried ringing and they never answered to give us a reason why . We then were left to pay out for a last minute hotel !! Really horrible experience! DO NOT BOOK .
- Michalis (5/5): Good location but unfortunately no communication - Location Unorganised and room was not available on arrival. Lack of communication and swapping 3 rooms until getting one that was available
- Jonny (8/5): A lovely room in a great area, communication was good and we really enjoyed our stay! - Thank you for accommodating us at such short notice, and allowing early check in, after we’d been let down by a different host on this site. Great location and value for money, room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.
- Zoli (1/5): please avoid!!!!! - nothing. it was disgusting. the bed sheets weren't clean, the room was dirty. we were only given one towel between 2 people. the bathroom was dirty and very dark. we booked 2 nights but only stayed for one as the bed sheets weren't clean and they were disgusting. As soon as I lifted the sheets I could see there was hair and public hairs left in the bed, indicating that the sheets hasn't been washed. we will try to get a refund as we didn't stay the second night we paid for. the host didn't reply to any messages I had sent them.
- Megan (1/5): The owner is an absolute disgrace, dispicable person and the worst kind of human. - I didn’t get to even go in. I booked a week prior and called a day before and asked about the property, to be told it’s all good, I’ll receive the pin in morning. I didn’t receive an email with the pin.
I arrived after a 2 and a half hour journey, I’m stood outside the apartment. I call up asking about the pin and I’m told someone will call me, I eventually receive a text from the owner saying “hi Megan, I’m sorry but there is no room.” I have traveled all the way there with no warning or anything, to then be told me and my friend are stranded in London.
I called 10 times, but the owner had blocked me!
I had to book a hotel which cost me over £200, double the cost of the apartment.
DO NOT EVEN STAY HERE.
- Elise (5/5): Passable - Amazing location Strange hole in the wall (felt like someone could be inside it looking into the room) and toilet was not very clean - brown stains in the bowl.
- Alex (1/5): No towels provided, none provided either night of arrival or following morning. Not fit for purpose! - No towels provided and no response when requested.
- Coxon (7/5): Great location, comfy beds, value for money, check in process not the best experience. - Location was great, flat had all the facilities we needed. Needed more details for the checking in process, on the email with code instrutions, one of the codes was missing, so we had a real mission trying to get in and there was no wifi and no phone signal at the flat to call for assistance.
We booked for 3 people, but the flat was set up for 2 people, with only towels for two people etc.
- Teek (1/5): Bad experience , me and my wife sleep on the floor for the night - Property look nice if is a picture , but if you plan to stay , please don’t be lie . 90% of the equipment is broken All item is rubbish including the phone inside the property, can’t call .
- Martha (1/5): Awful customer service - The bed was comfy My door code ran out of battery and so I was locked out of my room. However, despite reporting this clearly at 17:35. It took them til 20:15 to finally help me. I had to walk around asking shops if they sold a battery and then buy it out of my own funds.
They weren't very responsive or helpful. They just kept telling me no one was around to help me.
They finally gave me information that allowed me to get said battery but they could have sent this at 17:35 and I could have got in within 10mins. Though they should have these on site.
I then had to chase them over 2 days to pay me back for the battery which they eventually did.
There were no apologies. They really did not care
It was pretty bad customer service and so the place is ok if you have no problems. If you need to contact them, you're in for a bad time.
- Jo (1/5): Bad - Was very dirty and shoddy
No toilet roll
Pubic hair on the bed
