Guest Reviews
- Jolyon (10/5): Thanks for the kind reception and great stay - The loveliest people + 5 cats, 1 dog. Everything worked perfectly with Wifi and hot water. And a great breakfast with eggs and fruit. Plus all the information you need in Spanish or English. You can walk to the tour centre in a few mins. I would stay again with no hesitation.
Rien

- Onno (10/5): Fantastic!! Real recommendation - Very friendly service. Smiling makes your day better qnd always willing to support. Bed was a little bit too soft when you are used to European/Asian beds, but not too bad
- Bertinetti (10/5): -
- David (10/5): I can't wait to stay there again. - I had a great stay at Como en Casa. The facility was good. The owner-managers were very helpful. They gave good information on the tours at the Torotoro park. They provided a lot of information on Bolivia and Bolivian politics.
- Daniel (10/5): Absolutely awesome stay! - I couldn’t say better this about this guesthouse / hotel. The couple the run the place are incredibly friendly. The rooms are impeccable and the breakfast is very good. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Toro Toro.
- Andy (10/5): - Tout !
- Paola (10/5): - The property is ran by the owners and they are a very nice couple who do everything in person. The room was very comfortable and clean, breakfast was good and all the advice about the tours was excellent. Highly recommendable!
Rien

- Alexandra (10/5): Great stay! - Everything was perfect! The owners are so lovely. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, shower was hot. Breakfast was nice! Location was great. Overall, great stay. Nothing! Everything was great.
- Anne Laure (10/5): -
- Clementine (10/5): Loving it! It feels like home thanks to the amenities and the hosts - Everything! The room, the food and the lovely couple (and animals). There is also a garden where we can relax after arriving with the bus or after a day of adventure in the national parc. Probably one of the best stay in South America. You feel like home. We were sad to leave ! Nothing! It’s a 10 out of 10
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic hostel in Torotoro. The owners are extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast is great in the mornings and the hammocks are a great place to relax. Couldn’t recommend enough.
- Julie (10/5): Best hosts in Bolivia! Amazing stay! Must visit! - Beautiful, quiet, and relaxing property! It’s well taken care of and has the prettiest and delicious fruit trees!
- Joshua (10/5): Exceptional - Had a wonderful stay with the two lovely hosts. Would recommend for when you are in Toro toro
- Judit (10/5): Exceptional - A charming little hotel in a quaint town, run by a lovely couple who make you feel right at home.
The rooms are spacious, and the shower room is modern, clean, and well-maintained. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious.
The hotel is just a short walk from the town center. If you’re arriving by bus, you can ask the driver to drop you off at the hotel—they're usually very accommodating. When leaving, the bus company may even arrange to pick you up.
The hosts are well-connected and know the right people to enhance your stay.
I’d highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!
- Lenka (10/5): You won't find better accommodation! - Mrs. Griselda took great care of us the whole time, she cooked us delicious meals every day. The room and all the areas were perfectly clean and comfortable. We didn't miss anything!
- Coalson (10/5): Great place to unwind after a busy day of sight-seeing! - Great hosts with a great hotel/hostel - great cooks as well!
- Jaime (9/5): Superb - Homely, personalised care from the owners who run the place. Only four rooms hence dedicated attention to each guest. Bathroom could do with better ventilation.
- Mica (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The beds are comfy, the hotel is spotlessly clean and in beautiful surroundings.
- Schüth (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was great, the rooms very spacious and the owners are so sweet and really make you feel like home! :) also the food was great and very fresh! Nothing!
- Irene (10/5): Exceptional - The place is clean, tranquil and relaxing! The owners are lovely and make the place feel homey, they go above and beyond to make your stay perfect.
- Aurélie (10/5): A peaceful stay in Torotoro, « como en casa » ! - A place where we feel at home!
The hosts are very friendly, generous and welcoming. They are flexible and caring. The place is peaceful and quiet with a little garden.
The room is comfortable and clean.
The breakfast and the diner are very good (there is even a local raclette!).
We warmly recommend this place and had a wonderful time. -

Toro Toro . That hosts were an amazing couple , nothing was too much trouble . A great place to stay

- Gerard (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely hosts who made me feel at home very quickly. Very peaceful location with good facilities. Would definitely stay again
- James (10/5): Amazing stay, wonderful hosts, great food. We loved Como en Case! - Lovely comfortable stay, the owners are just wonderful and did everything they could to help us during our stay. Food in their restaurant was excellent as was breakfast. If visiting Torotoro I couldn’t recommend this place more highly.
- Mandeep (10/5): Fantastic!! - Grisalda and Guialberto were just the most amazing hosts you can find.
Exceptional property for size, cleanliness, amazing food, warm kind hearted service.
Fantastic conversation with Guialberto who is a retired diplomat so incredible stories and history lessons of Bolivia.
Amazing place to stay. . Nothing
- Andriy (9/5): Superb -
- Katie (10/5): Exceptional - Super nice hotel. The owners went out of their way for us - helped us find a group for tours, booked our bus back to Cochabamba and suggested things to do.
The room was really nice, the breakfast was good and we also had a lunch there before we left which was tasty and they catered for vegetarians.
- Maki (9/5): Super Genial :) - The atmosphere and the personality of the owner couple Sra.Griselda and Sr.Gualberto. They are very respectful, welcoming and very flexible to make my stay fulfilling. During my short stay, I had opportunity to be shared their thoughts and perspectives of Bolivia and it helps me to understand much better about this country. And Sra. Griselda tried to bring freshly made egg for the breakfast, Sr. Gualberto woke up super early in the morning for my request, simple but yumm bread is from neighbor, I like these little (well… actually not little) but warm spices that made me feel como en mi casa :) Not ”didn’t like” but I wish there’s a mini refrigerator in a room!
- Luk (10/5): Just perfect - Gualberto and Griselda are super friendly and helpful people. The location is very quiet and had a cosy place in the garden or on the roof to rest. They speak English and French. We also really liked the homemade dinner and lunch. The guide office is a 5 min walk from Como and Casa. We warmly recommend this place. Nothing
- Simone (10/5): Exceptional - It was a wonderful stay! Modern, clean and comfortable rooms. A beautiful couple who owned the property and really looked after us. We loved our stay here and didn’t want to leave so booked an extra night!
- James (9/5): Home away from home - This quiet and homely Casa sits on the edge of Toro Toro town, about 5 minutes walk away from the main tourist spot. The owners were very friendly with us and always made sure we had everything we needed. The home cooked food was delicious and there were a few drinks on offer too. There are 3 gentle and lovely dogs on site which made the trip just perfect for us. This is a great place to stay if you want to enjoy the nearby national park. There were some local dogs (not on site) who would occasionally bark during the night which sometimes woke us up.
- Carina (10/5): Exceptional - The accommodation was very lovingly and modernly designed, the food was very good and the two owners looked after us very warmly. Free pick up service for the bus to Cochabamba. We can highly recommend it. Everything was perfect.
- Milos (9/5): Friednly English speaking staff, clean room, average breakfast, no free bottled water - Friendly English speaking staff, average brakfast, clean room with all necessary facitlities Drinking/bottled water only for sale.
- Emil (10/5): A great place to stay for a good Torotoro experience - The owners and staff were very kind and helpful. The facilities and rooms were in additional good condition. A great recommendation from here and a nice place to stay for a good Torotoro experience.
- Alejandro (9/5): Superb - great location. very comfortable room. great hosts. parking.
- Lukas (10/5): Best place to stay in Torotoro - Wonderful accommodation for a few days in Torotoro. I would definitely stay here again.
It truly feels like a home away from home. The hosts, a very friendly and accommodating couple, will take great care of you and make your stay memorable.
Great recommendations for trips around Torotoro, excellent dinners and most importantly very comfortable atmosphere.
The location of the accommodation is a bit out of town. It can be a little tedious to walk back and forth every day if you have trips going from the center of Torotoro every day.
I highly recommend staying here if you are younger / have no problem walking 5 min to town.
- Dmitry (10/5): L
ike at home - Small family hotel. Modern design, private parking and nice territory. There is a bar and a coffee machine. Very friendly and attentive staff. It is located far from other hotels, but the center is no more than 5 minutes on foot. Ideal for a tourists trip. Minimum furniture. There is no hair dryer or TV in the room.
- Jelena (9/5): A warm home away from home! - The owners and hosts are very friendly, warm, welcoming and speak multiple languages. They really make an effort to let you enjoy your time in Toro Toro. The offered dinners were delicious as well. Everything was spotless clean, beds comfortable, shower hot. We highly recommend staying here and would definitely go back! If any, the wifi does not work so well / fast. For us that was not really a problem, but maybe good to know.
