Noi provenivamo dal sito di Timgad e abbiamo pernottato in questo hotel , eravamo in 6 con 6 moto e dispone di un garage a 100 metri dalla struttura dove le abbiamo parcheggiate. tutto ok

Il personale alla reception è molto gentile e reattivo alle richieste. La biancheria era pulitissima, mentre il bagno avrebbe bisogno di una pulizia più approfondita. La struttura ha i suoi anni, ma è di charme. La pulizia del bagno è da migliorare

• Tara (10/5): Real gem in Batna! - By far the nicest hotel we stayed in in Algeria! Really comfortable beds, good shower, very clean, good breakfast and most importantly the staff were extremely helpful. Thank you so much to Mahmoud in particular who spoke English and arranged a driver for us to collect us from the station, take us to and from Timgad and all the way to Constantine for a fair price, and was always available on Whatsapp to help with communication - we would have been lost without him! Would recommend to anyone looking for a hotel in Batna. Nothing :)

• WOJCIECH (10/5): Clean and friendly institution but bring your map :) - El Hayat is very clean, they offer soap and shampoo. Towels are big and fresh. You will find blanket in the cupboard, if you need. Friendly owner and young receptionist Mr Elias speak fluent English and are a good source of information. Just let you know that thr bus station for Timgad is not the same as for Setif or Constantine. Lack of the city maps. At least there should be one on the wall, to have the orientation. But there is the same situation in every city in Algeria!
• WOJCIECH (10/5): Stylish, cozy hotel opposite theater - The location of this hotel is perfect just opposite the Batna Theatre. It has a kind of the old charm with the balconies and bath tubes. They offer substantial breakfast with breads, cheese and boiled eggs which is included in the room rate. Fruits are inexpensive in this country so it shoul br also offered for breakfast, I think.

• Mohamed (8/5): Reasonably priced and well situated place to spend a day or two in Batna. - The staff was exceptionally helpful and very friendly. No elevator but staff managed to help us with our bags.
• Zahoor (8/5): Excellent Value for money Hotel - The Hotel offers Excellent Value for money. It was the cheapest Hotel we stayed in during our 2 week road trip around Algeria but in terms of Value for Money was the Best. The rooms were clean, not too small and had working AC, ideal for a short stay. The staff were nice and welcoming and the breakfast was better than some more expensive hotels we stayed in. Generally we found the Quality of hotels in Algeria very poor regardless of how expensive they were. We found the same applied to international branded hotels too which was very disappointing. Would I stay here again? Considering the Excellent Value for money this hotel offers and bearing in mind the generally low standard of most, more Expensive, Algerian hotels, Yes I definitely would. Water was leaking into the toilet basin, though I was shown a manual work-around to stop the leak, this was far from ideal.

• Filmypapy (8/5): The place to stay in Batna :) ... - Nice and small family run hotel in the town of Batna. Located next to one of town's squares with free and monitored parking right in front of the building. The room was basic, but clean and functional, with small refrigerator and modernized bathroom. WiFi was efficient. Hotel staff was nice and friendly. The breakfast was very basic. The area around was inviting for a small evening walk to see how the locals spend their Friday out on town. Will stay there again when next time in the area.
• Panelak (9/5): Superb - The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. Parking is on the street, but the hotel has a CCTV camera, so we can keep most of our staff in the car. Breakfast was very nice.
• Anne (8/5): Comfortable stay with very helpful staff. - Super friendly staff. Helped us park our motorbikes in the hotel entrance and get them back out. Also helped us organise a taxi to Timgad. Very clean and comfortable beds. Felt like paper thin walls - we were in a room behind reception and could hear everything.

• D (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location. Right at the central square. Can’t be any better. The market is down the street in 30 seconds. It’s a great area to watch life go by. The hotel manager is a kind gentleman, so helpful. I got up late in the morning for breakfast, but he waited for me with all the food. What a happy surprise! Before I left, he also helped me a ton with taxi/Yassir drivers because I don’t speak French or Arabic. I had a fantastic stay at this hotel.

• Yuanxi (9/5): Superb - Front desk gentleman was very helpful. He also prepared a good breakfast for guests. The hotel room ventilating fan is loud enough to offset the mosque calls, making it a good night's sleep for me. I have been bothered by mosque calls at 3am in other cities and the hotel Hayat saved me! Parking is a little tricky as it is in city center. No elevator.

• Debjeet (10/5): Cozy hotel offering incredible value for money right in the heart of Batna - Hotel El Hayat is a fantastic property right in the center of Batna. It is very budget friendly and offers excellent value for money. My room was cozy and well heated (essential in Batna's cold winters), the staff were incredibly friendly (and spoke very good English as well—not common in Algeria!), and the breakfast was more than adequate. I also enjoyed the newly renovated bathroom in my room with its plentiful hot water (again, essential during Batna's winter). For the price offered, this was probably the best bargain of all hotels where I stayed during my 24 days in Algeria. As a plus, there are many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. It is safe and walkable—even late at night. Why pay twice as much—or more—to stay at one of the fancier hotels in town, when there is excellent value at El Hayat?

• Walkingsandals (7/5): A little disappointed - - Location - A bathtub - A balcony - They told me there is a wifi and it works but there was no wifi connection in the room.The signal just keeps searching for a connection - Came for a breakfast at 8am and I saw other people having a juice, eggs and croissant but all there was left is coffee, tea, cakes, pastries...so I was really disappointed and I left, never happened like this before. They didn't even provide more. People after me didn't get any too. - Tv signal in the room is bad
