• Edison Chaves (4/5): Not good... couldn't sleep thinking about the AC and my car security. - Location The AC wasn't working, and there was a water leak... the floor was all wet... I couldn't use the AC as expected. The Parking Lot was full. I had to leave my car close to the public street. There is no "private" parking space, as anyone from outside can easily access the parking lot. The place doesn't match the posted pictures.

• Dominique (1/5): HOTEL A FUIR SI VOUS VOULEZ POUVOIR DORMIR - Nous avions réservé 2 chambres pour 3 nuits....nous sommes partis après la 1ere nuit à cause du bruit de la route insupportable, et ce pratiquement toute la nuit. L'hôtel est situé en toute bordure de route, mal isolé, fenêtres fermant mal. Il nous a été précisé en arrivant qu’il y avait des bouchons d'oreille dans les chambres (ça en dit long sur les nuisances et non précisé sur booking). Pas d'eau à disposition dans les chambres, pas de lampe de chevet (pourtant sur les photos de booking) juste un plafonnier de bloc opératoire. Le petit déjeuner est servi dans le restaurant d'en face (non précisé sur booking). 3 choix de petit déjeuner, soit les œufs soit les pancakes, soit le local (riz haricots), pas de confiture. Le minimum quoi. Tout cela ne correspond pas au descriptif de booking. Suite à nos remarques l’hotel nous a répondu que celui-ci était situé sur le plan par rapport à la route sur le site de booking. Sans précisions sur les nuisances sonores. Nous avons passé les 2 nuits suivantes dans un autre hotel également en bordure de route avec des bungalows en retrait. Moins cher que Vista del Cerro et un petit déjeuner digne de ce nom et à volonté. Booking ne nous a pas habitués à ce genre d'établissement. A FUIR.... si vous voulez dormir. A FUIR.....SI VOUS VOULEZ DORMIR (voir ci-dessus)

• Giovana (9/5): Pousada simples e bem localizada - Super bem localizada, facilita pra acessar os pontos principais de visita. Pousada bem simples mas tem tudo que precisa. As acomodações debaixo não tem muita vista pro vulcão, mas parecem receber menos barulho. Tem um jardim lindíssimo escondido no fundo, vale a pena aproveitar ali. Opções do café da manhã restritas, gostaria de ter frutas em mais opções.

• Raquel (10/5): Muy buena elección - Habitación muy amplia, con 2 camas grandes y baño completo. Se limpian las habitaciones a diario. Ventanal muy grande con vistas al volcán. El hotel tiene piscina y un bosquecito en los alrededores en el que habita un oso perezoso y pueden verse colibríes. El personal de recepción es muy amable y con ganas de ayudar ante cualquier solitutud o petición, tanto antes de la llegada como durante la estancia. El desayuno estaba muy rico, se toma en un restaurante que hay al frente del hotel. Lo recomiendo y volveríamos a alojarnos ahí. Nada.
• Daniel (6/5): Preis-Leistung nicht gerechtfertigt, trotz schönem Garten - Die Anlage verfügt über einen wunderschön angelegten Garten (inkl. eigenem Faultier) und hübschen Pool. Das Zimmer war großzügig geschnitten und super Betten. Kurze Wege zu den benachbarten Lokalen und Einkaufsgelegenheiten. Parkplatz ist auf dem Gelände mit dabei. Das Hotel liegt direkt der viel befahrenen Hauptstraße und ist (auch in der Nacht) sehr laut! Das Bad ist in die Jahre gekommen und hat keine Lüftung. Attraktionen und Sehenswürdigkeiten nur mit Auto erreichbar. Das Frühstück wurde im benachbarten Lokal von einer äußerst gelangweilten und uninteressierten Servicekraft serviert und entsprach nicht den viel gelobten anderen Bewertungen. Abgezählter Kaffee, Extras müssen teuer bezahlt werden,
• ChuanChih (7/5): Clean but noisy - The room was very clean and reception was friendly. We did not use the pool but it looked clean. The breakfast was served at the restaurant nextdoor, which was quite good. There’s a super market across the street, so it was easy to get grocery. It locates just beside a busy road. Cars and trucks run 24/7. It could be very load even at late night. No shampoo provided.

I felt it needed deeper cleaning but other than that we liked it.

El hotel con excelente aseo, la ubicación es excepcional a minutos de los principales centros termales, con muchos restaurantes y supermercados a pasos de distancia. La relación calidad-precio es insuperable, me he quedado en hoteles de precio similar en la zona y este gana por mucho. Habitaciones espaciosas, cómodas y con vista al volcán. El desayuno incluido delicioso y el trato del personal fue muy amable, ocupé apoyo con algunos temas logísticos y me brindaron respuesta en lo que estaba a su alcance. Ya los había visitado antes y serán siempre mi primera opción al visitar la zona.

But only 4 options, and the first day, my breakfast wasn't even complete.. The rooms were very noisy. You could clearly hear the road with the cars. It's was difficult to sleep because of that.

• Gary (8/5): Good location for touring the area. - Breakfast supplied by adjacent restaurant from a restricted menu. Quality was fine though. A number of other restaurants were within a short walk as was a large supermarket. Nice garden and swimming pool. Parking was fine. Laundry services were quick and efficient with shirts nicely folded. Would have a view of the Volcano except it was covered in cloud throughout our stay. Location was adjacent to a busy road with a lot of noise from passing trucks.

• Jimmy (7/5): Logically, because it is such a touristy place, any place is overrated and they charge as if they were 5 stars. - very close to the volcano and restaurants the rooms do not have mirrors, and it's very noisy, The jacuzzi doesn't work and they tell people it's a children's pool 🤦🏻 as if you were an idiot and didn't know it was a Jacuzzi.
• Denise (10/5): Perfect place to explore Fortuna from. - Great location, excellent views of the volcano from every room, friendly staff, clean rooms, delicious breakfast at the restaurant next door, and beautiful gardens. The beds were a little stiff - they were fine but not the most comfortable.

• Gordon (8/5): Very nosiy location - a shame, as nice rooms and setting. - The room was large, clean and comfortable with good quality bedding and a great shower. The site is set in pictursque small grounds you can walk and explore, and included a herb/medicinal garden. We saw a variety of birds and retiles, and also frogs and bats after dark. There was a really nice small pool and jacuzzi, with an area with seating just behind the bedroom block, which was private and relaxing. Pool towels are supplied. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The accommodation was right onto a very noisy road in Fortuna, with huge juggernauts and coaches roaring by day and night. We had to move rooms as it was impossible to sleep. The breakfasts are served at the Pasta Factory next door, which is a souless, little visited eatery. The offer is choice of 5 cooked options, which were adequate, but you can have just a single cup of juice, tea or coffee; no refills. And no bread unless you chose a menu option which had one slice.
• Tim (10/5): Value for money in an expensive Town! - A warm welcome makes a difference after a long shuttle and that was given! The staff were always attentive - especially Karin - without being obtrusive. The hotel faced a main road - but this was not an issue. The room and beds were very comfortable and the bathroom/shower excellent. The garden and pool are very well maintaned. The trees and flowers - many carefully recorded - were lovely and taught us a good deal on natural Costa Rica. We enjoyed just sitting there! Breakfast at the adjacent restaurant was consistently of a high standard Altogether very good value in an otherwise expensive town and country. I don't often give this high rating! We join others in suggesting more seating and couches around the swimming pool area.

• Rajesh (6/5): Good comfy short stay - The reviews for this room are apt. This hotel is very close to number of restaurants. Lot of choices to eat. Free breakfast place is next door restaurant. Nice food options. Bed is comfy. There is a little musty smell over the room. Good for only short trips as the hotel is right on the street you will hear the traffic later in the night too. Website mentioned there is iron available but the lady mentioned it’s the problem with the website and said she will make sure website is updated.

The view of the volcano is breathtaking. The room was huge and the towel art was stunning every day Jorge and the whole team were wonderful. Would definitely recommend staying here. The road is very busy and traffic starts early but that can't be helped.

The staff went above and beyond to help us ensure we were able to work from the room. The pool and property were excellent. The free breakfast was big and delicious. The view was amazing. There were two beds in the room and one was a spring mattress that was uncomfortable.
