- Andrew (10/5): Overall...very good - Great location. Decor very bold and interesting. Nice cocktails and atmosphere in the bar. Spacious and good facilities in the apartment. Most staff very friendly and a cool bottle of water was much appreciated when we arrived over heated. Cleaning staff were very pleasant and helpful. Apartment a bit on the tired side even if spacious and comfortable with all mod cons. Could do with an update to reflect some of the rooms. Bathroom was spacious but toilet too small and floor cracked. Missed having a restaurant for breakfast but there are so many places to eat out instead. Staff were very welcoming but one receptionist was rather rude when we tried to use the lift that was accessible from within the apartment but turned out not to go anywhere for us and only meant to be uses by the floors above. Had we been informed on arrival then we wouldn't have touched it. Why have a lift in an apartment that goes nowhere. Our suggestion would be to block it off with more storage as only one bedroom came with a wardrobe and that didn't have a tall enough space for a full length dress. Nowhere for shoe storage either. We were due to downsize rooms for a last night after friends leaving and we were offered the chance to stay in the apartment at no extra cost. This was of course much appreciated but would have been handy to know before completely packing our suitcases. The room obviously had no booking so it benefitted the hotel not to have to make up a new room. It was nice to have that space to ourselves but we were kind of looking forward to seeing the colorful decor in one of the signature rooms.

- Sue (9/5): Excellent apartment in heart of Kensington - Location was perfect within easy walk to the Albert hall Kensington gardens and Kensington high street with loads of shops and restaurants. There was only one two seater sofa so for an apartment for four it meant two people had to sit at the dining table rather than be able to relax. Otherwise the decor is beautiful and the apartment is well equipped. It was slightly strange that the bath towels were hidden in the wardrobe rather than the en suite bathroom and would have been useful to have some towel hooks in the bathroom.

- Graham (7/5): good, part from my comments above… - Everything was good apart from the waiter behind the bar in the early evening was grumpy. Grumpy waiter, service was good, attitude needs improving. Also the price of the drinks is prohibitive. The offering of a coin in exchange for a drink is a nice touch but spoilt by the condition that you must buy 1 drink first. Additionally I believed it was a drink for me AND my partner, it was not clear. The very high price of the drinks cancelled out the offer of the free gift. I think that whole offer needs a rethink. The Guy on Reception was excellent!

- Susie (9/5): Great hotel for a little treat! - The hotel was surprisingly quiet, given its location on Kensington High Street. The Royal Albert Hall was only about eight minutes away, which was an added bonus and staff were professional and helpful. Was disappointed to find the bar closed on our return from the gig.
- Cassandra (6/5): Beautiful, it’s but style over substance. - It has a lot of character, and I can see a lot has gone into the overall appearance. The details are lacking. The mattress seemed very old and in desperate need of replacement - it sagged in the middle. When I pulled back the sheet to get in, the sheets became untucked and I could see the state of the mattress underneath - there was only a thin protector between the sheet and mattress. A decent topper would have made some difference but ultimately there was a significant dip in the middle which wasn’t the most comfortable. This was passable for one visitor, but if I were travelling with a partner would have been terrible. In addition, the pillows were incredibly high loft - a mix of high and low would have been useful, especially given the state of the mattress. I ended up sleeping with my travel pillow for support instead. The heating/cooling was also very loud, all night - even on the lowest fan setting. But with no natural ventilation (windows are inoperable) I had no choice but to leave it on. I had just come from a 3 star hotel, my stay at the Hux was supposed to be a treat for my last night. Ultimately it was uncomfortable and I wish I’d stayed at my earlier accomodation, which lacked the superficial charm of the Hux but was otherwise far, far better in comfort and quality.

- Emma (10/5): Great little place to stay! - The staff were excellent...so friendly and welcoming! The hotel was superbly clean, and really quirky, which was a refreshing change from some of the boring places I've stayed. It's well worth investigating every floor! The only thing I would say is that the room was a bit cramped. It had everything I needed though, and the bed was a good size.

Excelentes cocktails en el bar :-) - La estancia en el hotel fue muy agradable así como el trato del personal, incluyendo el del bar en la recepción del hotel. La habitación era cómoda al igual que el baño con la ducha. La cama demasiado blanda con lo que fue un poco incómoda para nosotros, pero eso depende de gustos. La localización es perfecta justo al lado de Kensignton Gardens y el Royal Albert Hall. Las camas eran demasiado blandas así como las almohadas

- Luke (8/5): Nice one night stay in a good location. - Rooms where nice and comfortable, perfect for a short a stay. Our room was right over the bar/front entrance so could here music until late. Not ideal if your a lite sleeper or need to be up early in the morning.
- Mats (9/5): Hip hotel op een mooie locatie. - De kamer is ruim genoeg en de service is goed. De ligging aan het park is top. Ook stopt er een bus voor de deur. De bar van het hotel is erg duur. Er worden 5% servicekosten gerekend bij vertrek. Deze zijn optioneel, maar lastig af te wijzen.

- Nick (8/5): Excellent Location - Quirky Hotel - The room was superb, we went for autograph and although we were expecting something a little bigger it definitely lived up to the photos. The location was excellent a ten minute walk from High St Kensington Tube, and close enough to walk to the musueums on Cromwell Road. Staff were friendly those that we saw. The bathroom was small which was difficult at times. We were also given a bill which had a 'discretionary' payment on it (which I didn't pay) which was described as a tip for the housekeeping staff. I would have given a tip personally if I had wanted too.

- Sabine (8/5): Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft für einen Londonbesuch - Das Hotel ist direkt am Kensington Garden und öffentlich sehr gut angebunden! Das Bett war sehr bequem und Zimmer sowie Badezimmer für Londoner Verhältnisse groß! Wir hatten ein Zimmer im ersten Stock mit Fenster in den Hof unsere Aussicht bestand hauptsächlich aus Klimaanlagen, außerdem war das Zimmer direkt über der Bar, so dass wir am Wochenende die Musik durchhörten.
- Bendt (9/5): Außergewöhnliches Boutique Hotel in Top Lage mit hohem Komfort - Ein etwas anderes Boutique Hotel, außergewöhnlich, aber ich war rundum zufrieden. Das Personal war sehr nett und die Cocktails, die man zur Buchung dazu bekommt, waren gut. Die Lage ist absolut klasse. Empfehlen kann ich das Japan House in der Nähe sowie natürlich den Kensington Park. Ich würde wiederkommen. Für Londoner Verhältnisse war das Zimmer groß genug. Ich habe gut geschlafen, es waren ausreichend Kissen vorhanden und die Klimaanlage ließ sich problemlos ein und ausschalten.

- Dominique (8/5): Enrichissant - Le quartier de Kensington est magnifique,la Deco de l hôtel est très originale. La chambre est trop petite malheureusement et les fenêtres sont bouchées avec du papier opaque. C est dommage
- Federico (8/5): Ottima posizione consigliato per brevi soggiorni - Ottima posizione e staff gentilissimo. Arredamenti ricercati di buon gusto. Stanza piccola ma in linea con Londra, consigliata per brevi periodi. Impossibilità di aprire le finestre e potrebbe risultare fastidioso a lungo andare.
