• Patricia (10/5): Excellent. We would return! - Very homey and roomy. Beds were really comfortable. Shower was amazing. Views were spectacular. There was a small fridge that worked perfect. But no freezer component for our ice packs. Not a huge deal but for travelers it’s kind of nice to have that option. Also, no sink in the breakfast area. Again not a big deal because the host had it set up to collect the dishes. Might be a good add if possible.

The rooms were very comfortable with views of the water. The refrigerator had no freezer…so we had to eat our ice cream that we bought at the grocery store before dinner …oh the bad luck. lol

• Caedmon (8/5): Great views, excellent hosts. - Amazing views, especially from bedrooms. Heated floors were a special touch. Hosts were very accommodating and helpful. They went the extra mile to help out our special needs. We are very grateful. It was very difficult to open the doors. Something is wrong with the doors and they need to be fixed. Would prefer a better kitchen setup.

Easy access. Beautiful outdoor gardens. Did not like not having a kitchen. I did not realize there was no kitchen.

• Ai (10/5): We had very impressive, memorable stay. - Gorgeous rooms with garden facing ocean. The host is very sweet. There are stairs down to the private beach and we could get to see magnificent sunrise like the one in Monet painting.
• swee k. (7/5): It’s ok. Bedrooms big with attached bathroom - Host’s husband is friendly and wife seems friendly too. Explained what to do like leaving dirty dishes & glass in basin to wash. Outside grill was hard to turn on. Sink on side with a faucet that’s old & not tight Expected to clean dishes & area but no cleaning supplies were provided. Had to walk down a steep & narrow flight of wooden steps and some of iron grille was loose. No sink in cafe/tea with tiny refrigerator area. Could not get Coffee maker to work? Cant prepare breakfast. Has small counter microwave. Ran out of toilet tissue with no rolls as spare. Started with less than half a roll. Early in morning did not want to bother host. Upon arrival said we didn’t pay for our overnight stay!

The location was not only very convenient to amenities and attractions, but had a spectacular view. There was some minor noise from a landscaping or building project happening at the house next door - but not so much that it drove us indoors, and it stopped at a reasonable time in the evening. No fault of our property host!

• Alice (10/5): Luxurious, spacious suite with sea views - Luxurious furnishings, spacious, friendly hosts, stairs down to private beach and gorgeous views of Coast Salish waters and islands. Bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed with comfortable beds and 2 beautiful large ensuite bathrooms with walk in showers. Lovely gardens and terraces with sea views. Fantastic, highly recommend, would come back!
• Kristi (10/5): Relaxing and comfortable with stunning views - This was a beautiful spot to spend a couple of nights away with a friend. The hosts are lovely. Comfortable beds and a great living room space. There is no kitchen sink, but the host took our dirty dishes and brought them back clean. Plenty of outdoor eating space, where we enjoyed the fruit and pastries we brought with us for breakfast.

• Lily (10/5): Upscale, tranquil, beautiful and comfortable property - inside and out - Rani was a wonderful host and the ground floor suite is stunning. She met us on arrival and spent a lot of time providing tips and directions for sites and restaurants worth a visit. The rooms are large with upscale furnishings and well provisioned with basics (coffee, shampoo, etc.) Appreciated the full size coffee maker, kettle and mini fridge. The view truly is spectacular. The grounds are beautifully organized/decorated and maintained. Located quite close to the international airport and Sydney. A larger food prep counter and sink in kitchen area would be helpful along with a table and chairs inside for chilly day meals. No coffee shops close enough to walk to.

We had full use of a wonderful garden and slept in an exceptionally comfortable bed with beautiful bed linen. There was nothing to dislike.

There were lots of comfy places to sit. A unexpected plus was the bunny that came to visit while we were in the backyard. May be difficult for accessibility because of stairs. Otherwise none.

The host provided excellent recommendations and made us feel so relaxed. The location was extremely convenient to sightsee places like Butchart Gardens. There wasn’t ANYTHING we would change!

• Sea2sea (10/5): Elegant, relaxing, friendly - Rani and Aram have a beautiful waterfront home with a private downstairs with its own entrance and a vast view of the sea. There are stairs down to a nice rocky beach, a lawn that hosts bunnies in the morning, plenty of outdoor seating, and just a pure sense of elegant restfulness. The beds are fabulous, the two bedrooms are ensuite and at opposite sides of a very comfortable lounge with leather sofas. They offer a coffee bar and microwave, but we didn't use them—the area has so many healthy, creative restaurants that Rani will tell you about. The location is near Butcharts, provincial parks, hiking, boating, and northern ferries to smaller islands. I would move in in a heartbeat. They are lovely people and we were disappointed to be so busy playing we didn't take more time to visit. We had such a good time!
