Wenn man zB später ankommt (die Türen sind laut, er beschwert sich dann über den Gast, statt Schaumdichtungen rein zu machen.). Wenn man fragen stellt. Wenn was offensichtlich fehlt und man das anmerkt (Handtücher, Toilettenpapier).

• Sandra (6/5): - Unterkunft ist wirklich günstig dafür einfach und etwas spartanisch eingerichtet. Die Lage ist okay, wenn auch etwas versteckt auf dem Berg. Den Vermieter habe ich als freundlich und hilfsbereit erlebt. Die Ausstattung ist zu reduziert. Es wirkt etwas lieblos und anonym.

• Bianca (9/5): immer wieder gerne - Als fast Stammgästin hat es schon seine Gründe, warum ich für meine wöchentlichen Aufenthalte in Gmünd immer hier her komme. Neben der guten Lage ist auch das unkomplizierte und zeitlich höchst flexible Einchecken ein großes Plus. Die Zimmer sind wie beschrieben und Dank der Gemeinschaftküche kann man sich auch selbst versorgen. Der Gastgeber war immer höflich, zuvorkommend und hilfbereit - auch einen netten Plausch auf dem Flur kann man mit ihm halten. Wer den Luxus eines 4-Sterne-Hotels sucht, kommt nicht ganz auf seine Kosten; bekommt dafür aber eine heimelige Unterkunft mit WG-Charater ;)

• Nadine (4/5): - Leider entsprach das Zimmer nicht unseren Erwartungen. Es war deutlich renovierungsbedürftig und roch stark nach kaltem Zigarettenrauch. Toilette und Bad waren veraltet und wirkten für unseren Geschmack nicht sauber. Die Fotos auf Booking spiegeln den tatsächlichen Zustand nicht wider. Für uns war es nicht möglich, auch nur eine Nacht dort zu bleiben, weshalb wir noch am selben Abend ausgecheckt und uns eine andere Unterkunft gesucht haben.

• Ueli (9/5): Alles super, habe gut geschlafen. - Alles war funktional und sauber. Mein Zimmer war sauber und nett eingerichtet. Perfekt für eine Übernachtung wie ich es brauchte. Gute, schnelle Kommunikation und der Check In per Schlüsselbox hat gut geklappt. Werde ich gerne wieder nutzen wenn ich wieder hier bin.

• Konstantinos (4/5): Cheap stay but without proper facilities - The place is situated in a residential area so there is no street noise, it's also relatively close to the center. There is no soundproofing, luckily for me the place was empty, if not, it would have been noisy. I also didn't like the fact that the toilet and bathroom were separate and not in the best condition. The room was not warm enough and there is no TV.

• Krumpe (1/5): - Mehr als billig! Der Eigentümer extrem unfreundlich und arrogant, schafft es nicht mal guten Tag zu sagen und dutzt sofort. Im großen und ganzen ist es eine typisch schwäbische "Unterkunft" wo auf Biegen und Brechen versucht wird Geld zu verdienen. Uns wurde angelastet das wir zu laut sein, weil wir uns in Zimmerlautstärke unterhalten haben. Von anderer Seite stehen andere Gäste morgens um 4 mit lauter Musik, singend auf und machen sich 2 Stunden lang für Arbeit fertig. Hinzu kommt das nicht jedes Zimmer über eine Heizung verfügt und die Bettenausstattung mehr als dürftig ist. Das Kissen war so flach es hätte auch fehlen können und die Decke war weniger als ein Handtuch. Wir sind einen Tag vorher abgereist und haben uns etwas anderes gesucht. Würde mich das Leben noch mal nach schwäbisch Gmünd verschlagen, würde ich lieber im Auto pennen als dort nochmal einzuchecken.

Auf der Toilette ist kein Waschbecken nur im Gemeinschaftbad. Wenn das besetzt ist kann man keine Hände waschen.

Personal was kind The common facilities leave much to be desired, they are in poor condition and it is impossible to rest due to the noise generated by the doors when opening and closing. Not far away from the City center, station and a supermarkt. The cleanliness in the bathroom depends on the people who you share it. In generell it was clean. But some people left it very dirty an didn't care about it.

You could hear any noise from other guests, especially doors opening and closing. There is no sink or trash can in the bathroom, if someone is using the shower room you need to wash your hands in the kitchen.

Easy walk to/from the train, plenty of shops, and myriad religious and cultural destinations. Very kind hostess worked with the language barrier to the best of her ability. I’m going to call this low-key spot a “boarding house” for lack of a better term. Like something out of another century, it’s not as bare-bones as I’d expect a hostel, but without breakfast it couldn’t be called a B&B. Perfect price point for a safe, warm, clean place to sleep during a short visit to Schwäbisch Gmünd. Very thin walls made bed time difficult as other residents came and went. Definitely recommend checking in during daylight hours as the approach to the location is a bit winding and hidden. Wasn’t given a policy for checkout so I had to sort of wing it, message the property through this app, and hope for the best.
