• Guest (10/5): Our family were very comfortable and staying at Miapera was a great base for our Istanbul trip. - Excellent location in the heart of Taxim and close to shops, conveniences and transport. The hotel was an older style but clean and spacious and staff were very helpful. Wifi was great and the breakfast was amazing. Any issues we raised were resolved promptly. The spa facilities were closed but we were not interested in this part of the service. We had dinner one night in the hotel and the food was adequate, they catered to our dietary requirements.

• Erkan (1/5): Bir daha asla. - Tesisin tek güzel yeri konumuydu Tesis çalışanları çok amatör dü ilk gün odada cam penceresi bozukdu ve kapanmıyordu , diyer odaya geçdim hava soguk oldugu için klima açdım ama oda bozuk çıkdı sonra duş almak istedim ve bir saatt sıcak suyun gelmesini bekledim işde böyle bir tecrübe edindim .

• Sara (2/5): The hotel lied about the swimming pool. Dont waste your money staying here. - The Staff were friendly Lifts didnt work. Had to walk to 8th floor. The bedside lamp was broken swinging around with loose wires which short circuited the room when switched on. No water in the mornings to take a shower. The shower was broken. No toilet roll. No wifi for 2 days. No swimming pool and spa as noted on the advert. Complete lie in their advertising.
• Bego (1/5): Nightmare - The breakfast was very nice and had a good assortment of options. Not enough drink options however You could not pay me to return to this property after the negligence I experienced during my stay. From the moment I arrived, it was one issue after another. I was bitten by mosquitoes so severely that I developed large welts lasting for days. When I reported this to the front desk, absolutely nothing was done for the entire duration of my stay—until the final night, when someone claiming to be a manager finally showed up. Our first room had a completely non-functional AC unit, and there were no toiletries provided. When we were moved to another room, we realized just how much had been overlooked—basic cleanliness, upkeep, and comfort were all absent. I chose this hotel specifically because it advertised an on-site gym and spa, only to find out upon arrival that both were under construction and unusable. To make matters worse, on our last night we discovered a massive cockroach in our room. We immediately sent photos to the staff, and not a single person showed empathy or took responsibility for the situation. This stay cost me money, time, peace of mind, and quite literally my health. I expect proper compensation for the unacceptable conditions and complete lack of care demonstrated throughout my stay.

Pool &Spa nicht benutzbar, was aber leider nicht vorher erwähnt wurde. Fanden wir sehr schade. Straße recht laut, aber kann man auch nichts für - also da vllt selbst darauf achten.

• Patrick (1/5): Auf keinen fall buchen - Nichts Das Hotel hatte Tage vorher einen Brand im Spa Bereich und war nicht bewohnbar. Wir wurden nicht informiert und wir waren dann ohne Hotel in Istanbul gestrandet. Keine Hilfe ein neues Hotel zu finden. Extrem schlechtes Management und Betreuung hat nicht stattgefunden.

• MiniBay (8/5): - Die Lage ist super. Zu Fuß vieles zu erreichen. Sehr viele Restaurants, Cafés, Bars in der Nähe (Istikal Caddesi). Es ist abends eine sehr laute Gegend. Viel Durchgangsverkehr, trotz schmaler Seitenstraße.
• Isil (1/5): Horror ! - NICHTS‘ Als wir am Hotel angekommen sind, wurden wir direkt auf der Straße von zwei Frauen abgefangen. Diese haben es als nicht einmal nötig, gesehen, sich uns vorzustellen und fragten direkt, ob wir eine Reservierung in diesem Hotel haben, als wir die Frage bejahten, sagten Sie, das Hotel sei außer Betrieb. Eine weitere Erklärung wurde offensichtlich nicht als notwendig gesehen, auf die Frage hin, ob sie denn in diesem Hotel arbeiten würden, sagten sie ja. Als ich sagte, ich möchte mit der Rezeption sprechen, sagten sie, wir sind von der Rezeption. Ich muss dazu sagen, diese Damen haben sehr schlechtes türkisch gesprochen und schienen mir sehr, sehr jung. Also überhaupt nicht professionell oder kompetent. Sie wollten uns einfach mitten auf der Straße wieder loswerden. Ich bestand jedoch darauf, ins Hotel zu gehen und das Ganze im Hotel zu klären und nicht mitten auf der Straße uns wurde dann gesagt, dass am Sonntag ein Wasserschaden im SPA zu Stande gekommen ist, womit die Elektrizität betroffen war und es einen Brand in mehreren Zimmern gegeben habe und somit das Hotel nicht benutzbar ist. Unsere Ankunft war am Donnerstag. Obwohl dieser Schaden bereits vier Tage vor unserer Ankunft zustande gekommen ist, hat das Hotel es nicht als notwendig gesehen, uns darüber zu informieren. Angeblich wurde Booking.com von denen informiert. Ich hatte jedoch auch keine Mitteilung durch Booking.com im Vorfeld bekommen. Weder wurde uns ein Alternativ Hotel zur Verfügung gestellt. Noch waren sie bereit, uns unser Geld zu erstatten. Ich habe sofort Booking.com kontaktiert und eine weitere Dame an der Rezeption hat mitbekommen, dass ich dort anrufe. Ich sah, wie sie sofort zum Telefon Griff. Ich hatte leider eine längere Wartezeit in der Hotline gehabt, der Mitarbeiter vom Booking.com erklärte mir dann, dass im Vorfeld seitens des Hotels keine Mitteilung an erfolgt ist, dass die erste Kontaktaufnahme erst vor ein paar Minuten gewesen sei. Also hat diese Dame an der Rezeption erst Booking.

The room was clean and quite comfortable, but housekeeping didn’t change the bed sheets daily. They mentioned pool and spa facilities were available, but they were actually closed for renovation, and no one informed us before booking. The breakfast was really poor for a 4-star hotel — very few options, only a few hot dishes, and staff were slow to refill items. Even there wasn’t a coffee machine available.

O meglio é chiusa da mesi e chissà se mai riaprirà. La stanza ha puzza di fogna dal bagno, pulita ma molto vecchia. Gli infissi sono molto vecchi e fanno passare tutti i rumori. Staff non all altezza, su tre notti mi é stata rifatta la stanza solo una. Mai più!

The hotel blame Booking.com & Booking.com say they were not contacted by the hotel. I was massively inconvenienced & missed a dinner appointment by the time I had found myself a new hotel. Nothing
• WOO KYU (4/5): - 프론트 직원들은 친절했고 침대와 방 청소는 매우 깔끔하게 잘 해주었다. 방음이 전혀 안되어서 옆방 숨소리까지 들릴 지경이었고 길거리소음 때문에 잠을 잘수가없었다. 특히 주말은 절망적있음. 그리고 호텔앞 도로가 차가 많이 다니는 일방통행 골목길인데 호텔앞에 잠시 주차하고 짐 싣고 내릴 공간도없어서 매우 불편하다. 비싼 숙박비에비해 가성비는 최악이었음. 두번 다시 가고싶지 않은 호텔이었다.

• maria (1/5): Τραγική - Τίποτα Αρχικά κλείσαμε ξενοδοχείο με παροχές σπα και μασάζ και δυο εβδομάδες πριν την άφιξη μας μας είπαν ότι θα είναι κλειστές όλες οι παροχές του ενώ το είχαμε ήδη πληρώσει και δεν απάντησε καν στο αίτημα μας για ακύρωση! Το δωμάτιο που μας έδωσαν μύριζε μπογιά γιατί όπως μας είπαν βάφτηκε πριν 5 μέρες με αποτέλεσμα να κοιμόμαστε με ανοιχτό το παράθυρο κάθε βράδυ και να ακούμε και όλη τη φασαρία! Επίσης όταν τους είπαμε να αλλάξουμε δωμάτιο δεν βοήθησαν καθόλου! Την πρώτη μέρα ενώ υποτίθεται προσέφερε μπουφέ με πρωινό μας έφεραν ένα πιάτο που είχαν βάλει εκείνοι ότι ήθελαν. Την τέταρτη ημέρα στο πρωινό η κοπέλα αρνήθηκε να φτιάξει άλλο καφέ αφού είχε τελειώσει και θέλαμε συμπλήρωμα, ενώ ο μπουφές ήταν ακόμη ανοιχτός! Την τελευταία μέρα γυρίσαμε το απόγευμα στο ξενοδοχείο και δεν μας είχαν βάλει πετσέτες. Ζητήσαμε ευγενικά στην κοπέλα στη ρεσεψιόν ενώ βγαίναμε το βράδυ να μας φέρουν πετσέτες και ενώ μας διαβεβαίωσε ότι θα βάλουν (δεν ζήτησε καν συγγνώμη για την παράλειψη) μας αγνόησε εντελώς! Προφανώς γυρίσαμε και δεν είχαμε πετσέτες για να κάνουμε μπάνιο και ο υπεύθυνος βάρδιας εκείνη την ώρα δεν ήξερε που είναι οι πέτσες για να μας φέρει! Παρόλα αυτά ήταν ο μόνος ευγενικός… Όλα αυτά το είπαμε στον μάνατζερ του ξενοδοχείου την τελευταία μας ημέρα αλλά φυσικά δεν προσφέρθηκε καν να μας εξυπηρετήσει με μια μεταφορά στο αεροδρόμιο εφόσον καμία από τις παροχές που έγραφε δεν υπήρξε ποτέ! P.S. την τελευταία μέρα που φεύγαμε είχε πέσει και το ρεύμα σε όλο το ξενοδοχείο και δεν λειτουργούσε τίποτα ενώ όλη η υπόλοιπη περιοχή είχε κανονικά ρεύμα !!! Εντελώς ανοργάνωτοι!

• Irina (2/5): Très mauvais, à fuir - La localisation Vraiment super super nul, ne vaut pas du tout le coup. Déjà, on a pas été prévenu qu’il y avait des travaux et que non seulement tout le spa, gym etc étaient fermés, mais en plus ça sentait la peinture PARTOUT. Le room service et le restaurant étaient fermés aux heures où c’était censé être ouvert. Ma fenêtre était cassée et impossible de dormir avec le bruit (et le tonnerre)! Le personnel était vraiment incompétent, j’ai dû rappeler 2 fois et attendre près d’1 heure juste pour avoir une bouteille d’eau. On m’a dit qu’on ne pouvait pas me changer de chambre pcq l’hôtel était complet ce qui était un mensonge. J’ai voulu parler à un manager parce que à ce prix c’est indécent et personne ne m’a joint ou n’était disponible. Jusqu’à aujourd’hui j’attends de pouvoir trouver une solution avec eux.

Three nauseating smells, 1. Wet paint, 2. Sewer gas smells from bathroom filing the entire room, 3. The Hotel was closed only a month ago from a fire so the whole place smells like burnt plastic, paint etc. My partner and I after one night felt sick from all the combined smells. Unacceptable place that is very amateur. AVOID

• DANIELE (3/5): Cattive sorprese... - La posizione della struttura è ottima, il personale gentile e disponibile anche se dovrebbero avere maggiore attenzione a fornire delle informazioni sbagliate per non rovinare le aspettative degli Ospiti. Le cattive sorprese, nonostante avessi prenotato con una tariffa rimborsabile proprio per evitare problemi. La comunicazione che la piscina fosse chiusa è avvenuta al momento del check -in (la presenza o meno della piscina era un requisito fondamentale per la nostra vacanza, in quanto promessa a mio figlio) Inizialmente doveva essere riaperta dopo 2 giorni ma così non è stato (cosa che mi era stata comunicata dallo staff del ricevimento) Per tutto il soggiorno non è stato possibile utilizzarla. I giorni a seguire sono stati imbarazzanti, è mancata l'acqua calda in tutto l'Hotel per un giorno intero e il giorno prima non arrivava neanche quella fredda. Le mie segnalazioni all'accoglienza non hanno avuto alcun riscontro. In una settimana non ci hanno mai rispristinato nè shampoo nè doccia gel e quando il terzo giorno l'ho fatto presente mi hanno portato un'unica boccetta APERTA A META'!! di doccia gel (ma noi in stanza eravamo in tre) Ho prenotato la Suite con vetrate di cui una molto pericolosa in quanto filata per tutta la lunghezza. Il servizio di room service non corrisponde a quanto da loro stessi pubblicizzato (lavoro da oltre 30 anni anni nel campo alberghiero di cui 20 come Direttore). Il Club sandwich che mi è stato servito non è stato neanche scaldato, completamente privo di qualsiasi cosa che lo potesse definire tale e al momento del check in il costo non corrispondeva a quanto scritto nelle pubblicità che scorrevano nel vano ascensore. Nel servizio di prima colazione trovo paradossale che mi si risponda "le uova sono finite" alle 8:00 del mattina. In tutto questo, mai nessuno è venuto a parlare con me e di buona norma il Manager avrebbe dovuto interfacciarsi o perlomeno palesarsi. Nei primi giorni ho chiesto a più riprese di essere ri-protetto su un'altra struttura ma non mi sono state fornite alternative nè dall'Hotel nè dal servizio clienti di Booking.com da cui stò ancora aspettando una risposta.

There was a fire in the hotel and our stay got cut short. We got relocated to another hotel for a night but then had to move to another one. Still waiting for the hotel to contact me about a reimbursement.
• АЛИНА (10/5): Нашла для себя отличный отель в моей любимой части Стамбула. С удовольствием вернусь туда еще раз. - Идеальное расположение: рядом улица Истикляль, но нет этого шума. Очень приветливый персонал. У нас окна выходили на красивое здание Британского консульства. Я бы с удовольствием остановилась бы еще раз в этом отеле. Бассейн нуждается в реновации. Плитка внутри грустная и из-за этого цвет воды так себе.
• Anna (4/5): No pool, very noisy, not restful :(( - Great location and decent breakfast We chose this hotel specifically because it advertised a swimming pool, and decided it was worth paying extra for that. Upon arrival, however, we were told the pool and sauna were closed for maintenance after failing a city council check, something that was not mentioned during booking. Unfortunately, our stay only got worse. The first night was unbearable due to noise: the windows are not double-glazed, and the street outside is lined with bars and clubs, with taxis honking until early morning. We requested a room change, only to find that the other side of the hotel was just as noisy, with another club blasting music all night. We ended up sleeping with headphones on just to get some rest. If you’re looking for a hotel to relax, swim, and enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep, this is not the place. I also requested a partial refund since the pool was unavailable despite being advertised, but the hotel declined.

• Francisco (6/5): Déçus de l'hotel, car ils nous ont menti sur le SPA. - L'emplacement était parfait et la chambre spacieuse Beaucoup de choses: -le petit déjeuner pas beaucoup de choix et la machine à griller le pain était cassée -Un ascenseur sur deux était en panne et il était fait que pour 2 personnes (il y avait 8 étages) beaucoup trop d'attente quand vous êtes au 7eme étage -Nous avons pris un hotel SPA piscine exprés (j'avait envoyé un email de confirmation si tout était fonctionnel) l'hôtel ma répondu que oui et quand on est arrivé elle était en maintenance depuis plusieurs semaines

• mercia (6/5): - Loved the facilities and the one proximity to the shopping street. I could not sleep due to the nightclubs in the vicinity. If you are visiting Istanbul to party all night long, this is the ideal place to stay.

I had a long wait for the checkout as they check the minibar. Due to that I was late for my meeting.

• MARY (9/5): Εξαιρετική. - Το ξενοδοχείο ήταν εξαιρετικό. 2 στενά πίσω από τον κεντρικό δρόμο της Ταξίμ με όλα τα καταστήματα (λίγη φασαρία το βράδυ λόγω αυτού). Καθάριζαν τα δωμάτια, άλλαζαν σεντόνια και πετσέτες κάθε μέρα και σου αφήνουν καθημερινά νερό, σαμπουάν, κρέμα σώματος και άλλα μικρά άλλα πολύ χρήσιμα πραγματάκια για το ταξίδι σου (λίμα νυχιών, χτένα, κιτ οδοντόκρεμας και οδοντόβουρτσα, σκουφάκι ντουζ κλπ). Όλες οι παροχές του ξενοδοχείου (εκτός μασάζ) είναι διαθέσιμες χωρίς χρέωση και το προσωπικό είναι καταπληκτικό. Πάντα ευγενικό και έτοιμο να βοηθήσει σε οτιδήποτε χρειαστείς. Μάς πρόσεξαν πολύ και σας ευχαριστούμε θερμά για αυτό. Σας το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα. Τα μόνα αρνητικά είναι πως το ξενοδοχείο θέλει μια ανανέωση και συντήρηση σε ορισμένα σημεία του, λόγω ετών. (Το φύλλο της ντουλάπας μας ήταν χαλασμένο, πολλά σημεία ήταν πολυκαιρισμένα και το πάτωμα της πισίνας ήθελε συντήρηση διότι ξέβαφε). Τέλος λίγες παραπάνω επιλογές στο πρωινό, θα κάλυπταν όλες τις ανάγκες. Να σημειώσω πως τίποτα απ αυτά όμως δεν χάλασαν την διαμονή μας ούτε λίγο. Απλά με μια προσοχή σε αυτά θα ήταν αψεγάδιαστο.
• David (1/5): Disappointed and would definitely not stay here again - Location was good Pool and sauna under renovation and they appear to have been for quite sometime basis other reviews. We wouldn’t have stayed here if we had known this. Room cleaning was a token effort at best . Overall staff experience was average .

It’s one of few hotels in Istanbul that is not located next to night club or very busy street so you can actually sleep at night. Breakfast was perfect, it definitely improved lately. • SOHAIL (8/5): Great staff, good facilities - shame about maintenance - Room was well-sized, hotel was quiet, staff were generally very helpful. Breakfast was great with local and international options. Fitness centre is fairly well equipped. The spa facilities were under maintenance when I tried to use them both times which kind of defeats the point of booking this place. Otherwise, everything was as expected.
• Ben (4/5): - To be fair the hotel should be called as 3 star and not really a 4-star one! 1) Breakfast is oki-sh but nothing particular. Even sometimes if you go after 9 some essentials are already finished. 2) i stayed here for 3 nights and none of spa facilities was functional neither the swimming pool. I’m wondering why they don’t inform people before booking about that. 3) in booking.com and their website itself the superior rooms indicated as 23 mq, but they are max 10-12 mq and not bigger! 4) the room’s bathroom is always with bad smell because of sewerage system. 5) i guess they have serious issues with toilet paper, you need to ask always for that otherwise they prefer not to put enough in the room. Now checking the previous reviews apparently this is the way how they manage this place, they prepared some early photos of swimming pool but every time with different excuses they say it’s not functional! I think they have a lot of work to do before calling it as 4-star hotel!

• Kurt (9/5): Gut aufgehoben! - Sehr freundlicher Empfang! Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage optimal für Ausflüge. Frühstück ausreichend. In der Nacht etwas laut. Viele Nachtschwärmer unterwegs.

• Ozgur (5/5): En dehors du personnel adorable, pas satisfait de mon séjour - Le personnel est adorable. La jeune fille ,Zeynep, est très gentille. Les femmes de ménage sont super souriantes ! Le personnel a l’accueil très sympathiques Le petit déjeuner La chambre donnait sur la rue, avec un pub irlandais juste en face : impossible de dormir à cause du bruit. Les fenêtres devraient être mieux isolées. Le spa paraît beaucoup plus grand sur les photos qu’en réalité. L’hôtel aurait été rénové à deux reprises, mais l’ascenseur, l’escalier et les chambres restent vieillots et dépassés. Il faut changer les lits. Pas très confortables

• peter (6/5): Veel beloven weinig geven - Locatie temidden in de uitgaansbuurt, Indien alles in orde zou zijn zou dit een tophotel zijn. Meisjes aan de balie waren super. Goed ontbijt 3 dagen na elkaar beloofd dat zwembad zou open zijn, 3 dagen was het gesloten, veel beloven en weinig gdven doet zotten in vreugde leven, elec. viel uit, geen verlichting of noodverlichting in de trapenhal. Kamer 308 gevaarlijk voor snijwonden losliggende plastieken parket. Manager gevraagd maar niet gezien, struisvogel die kop in de grond steekt maar niet recht in ons gezicht te spreken.... Management shame on you!!!

• Syed Eibad Ur Rehman (8/5): Amazing 4 days - Loved the location as its close to taksim. Have amazing views of the front street. The duplex room was spacious with a nice balcony. The swimming pool was amazing The breakfast was limited with less variety. But was in line with price range. During our stay some days the swimming pool was under maintenance.
