• Kyli B (8/5): So very close to the beach - we loved exploring the neighbourhood. - The location was so very close to the beach - we loved walking and riding around the neighbourhood. Being located on the second floor - the views out to the trees was really lovely, hearing birds flying by. The ventilation from the beach breeze was lovely also (good open windows, fly screens etc). The space is much larger than the photos show. The walk-in robe and bathroom were a very pleasant surprise. There were puzzles, books, and games to keep us entertained. The bed was very comfortable - and the host kindly changed our linen during our stay. It's difficult to state negatives when we knew what we'd signed up for, the property isn't ideal for longer stays ... we missed having a full kitchen during our stay and couldn't/wouldn't eat out for every dinner/meal (however saying that we made do with the equipment provided - small fridge, air fryer, microwave and toastie maker). A few extra items could be provided such as kitchen paper towel and handwash in the kitchen. We also missed having an outdoor area to sit and relax.

• Karolina (9/5): Great stay and lovely hosts - The accommodation is literally 5 min walk to the beach. Rooms were very clean and you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The place is pet friendly, so we were able to stay with our dog. It was great! I wish we could stay longer

The guesthouse was very spacious, clean and fresh, with everything you needed for your stay. Very comfortable bed. Good onsite parking space for your car. The sounds of the birds in the surrounding trees was delightful and added enjoyment to our stay. Just be prepared for the stairs as the guesthouse is on the second floor. Everything else was perfect.

• Santi (10/5): Exceptional - We have stayed at the Lamb Shack over the last couple of years, and this was our 4th time. We have enjoyed our experience every occasion, hence, that is why we keep coming back. The hosts Karen and Steve are lovely and make you feel welcome, at the same time allowing the freedom of our own space. The whole apartment is very clean and tidy. The living area is very spacious, and the bed is quite comfortable. Waking up to the sound of chirping birds was special. We enjoy the fact that it is so close to the beach, and at the same time, we appreciate being surrounded by beautiful tall trees and being in the midst of some rich wildlife.

The attention to detail, cleanliness and spacious living area, together with being within walking distance to the beach, made our stay one I would definitely recommend.

• Nischal (10/5): Exceptional - Karen was very friendly, warm and welcoming. Entry and exit instructions were clear. The room was very clean, spacious, and there are heaps of games to play and puzzles to do. The bathroom facilities were also very good, and the location closed to the beach There isn't much not to like, and I'll definitely consider a repeat stay.
• Erin (10/5): Excellent, it felt like a home away from home. - Excellent location in a very quiet neighbourhood, made it seem miles from anywhere yet it was so close to the beach and in easy reach of shops and cafes etc. The property is very spacious, and immaculately presented. Karen was very obliging when Qantas messed up our flight, causing us to arrive late. I would not hesitate to stay there again, and would highly recommend it to anyone else. It was the perfect place to stay when attending the Aldinga Airshow.

• Petrea (8/5): Would certainly book again. Perfect for our needs and location is idea. - There was a private entrance and separate driveway for parking. The rooms were so spacious, with several options for reading areas and seating. Lots of games and puzzles to choose from. The accomodation was in walking distance to the beach and to the conservation park. Lovely bird song to wake up to. Cafe is within walking distance. We are used to the sound of possums running across the roof during the night, so it didn’t disturb us but others might wonder what the noise is about.

• Carol (8/5): Looking for walking distance to the Beach, here it is. - The location is excellent, walking distance to beautiful Aldinga Beach & also at the opposite end of the street a close distance to the Aldinga Conservation Park. The host are extremely hospitable & friendly. A great accomodation unit with everything you need & also very clean. Having to leave.

Karen was terrific (came back with a spare key when, yes, I forgot to take my key with me, thankyou!) and the space was terrific. Wide open rooms with a lovely kitchenette, everything you need, huge walk-in robe and dual-head shower, excellent! Super-comfortable bed, everything absolutely spotless! Just a short walk to Aldinga Beach and some lovely restaurants / coffee shops! Very reasonable rates, highly recommended, hopefully I'll get to stay at The Lamb Shack again! AAA+++ I wish I could have stayed longer! 😊
