• Allison (10/5): Everything was perfect from a hassle free booking & communications throughout to a great little getaway. - It was very accommodating for a nice time away and also it is located perfectly for the area where the car can stayed parked with a short walk to the beach and various food places to eat.

• Graeme (6/5): Comfortable enought for one night stay. - Comfortable with all that we needed for a one night stay. Very messy getting keys, entering car park, and finding our room through various coridoors.
• Kelly (10/5): Perfectly stress free, fun and easy. - Excellent location, ease of access, extremely clean and comfy, added extras like proper shampoo instead of travel packs and nice tea bags, olive oil etc made the stay seem like being at home. Nothing! Everything was great!

I Don't consider myself old at 64, but getting in and out scared me, the base edges were slippery. I doubt that children would be your main customers, so why it is there I'm not sure.

• Emma (8/5): Great Alex stay opposite the beach. - Great location. Some thoughtful inclusions like milk, coffee and tea. Wonderfully responsive host who was very receptive to questions. Bed was very soft and it does not really have ocean views. A little peek a boo of the ocean we paid extra for views. A fan would be amazing so you do t have to run air con the whole time.

• Lalit (7/5): the property address should provided in the listing ,street number .not the name such as alex resort - location was good .room good. it was very difficult find ,the the property address on google map. luckily some body in the office help us to with key location. No instruction to the carpark and room location. have ask the office lady.t here is no exhaust fan for stove in the room.alex resort doesnt exist .should be breakfree hotel. took us 2hours to find the place.

Had laundry , which would be good for longer stays, we only stayed 1 night. Just across the road from the beach and surf club and dining. Thank you for allowing us early access to the room, had been empty the night before Huge step into shower/bath. No good for older or anyone with trouble lifting their legs. No fan in bathroom/ toilet. Maybe a note to remind vistors to draw the blind down so morning sun doesn't wake you at 4.30ish. Parking bays are so tight It's not good that normally you can't get into your room until 2pm and have to be out by 10am. Not even 24hr stay?? Lucky it wasn't used the night before and we were allowed access earlier. Thank you for that.

• Diane (6/5): Probably wouldn't stay in this area of the complex because of the traffic noise - The apartment was very clean. It was lovely how the owners provided cooking utensils, cookware and some items for cooking. The pool in the complex was beautiful. The studio was small and felt a bit claustrophobic. We didnt realise it was a step up and over edge into the shower so was a bit of an effort overall. We had a tiny view of the ocean from the balcony. The advertisement said small view and it was. The most disappointing part was the traffic noise. Nearly every car was loud and seemed constantly to be racing each other to get to the traffic lights near us. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony except for the constant traffic noise occurring until late evening.

• Wendy (9/5): Basic studio, but clean, comfortable, and cool during very hot weather - very relaxing. - Got lots of emails from Booking.com after booking, mostly advertising. Was very familiar with using booking.com so did not read through the details very carefully. Did not realise that I needed to log on to my booking.com account to find out how to access keys. I received an email on the day of arrival, but had already left home and did not see it. Was unable to enter property on arrival. Very relieved that booking.com had a phone number for the host on the booking. Very relieved to find that the host answered the phone immediately and was able to walk me through the process of gaining entry immediately. Also very relieved that the host was immediately available at 6.15 am in the morning when we sleepily left our key in our room and locked the door behind us. As it turned out, a second was available in the nominated location. Host also quickly facilitated our staying for a second night. Beach view was not panoramic, but pleasant, both from balcony and from the bed.

Sent 2 emails asking about keys car park did not get second reply till day we left which didn’t help if we had known it was breakfre we wouldn’t spent 45kins looking for resort then how to get in which gate all v confusing we booked through booking .com

Loved the inclusion of basic pantry items. I'll remember not to pack my own next time. Please pass on our thanks again to Linda. nothing that I can think of. We had an amazing time.

• Tania (5/5): Didn’t tick the boxes for us. - Location is great, and unit has everything you need. You can sit on the veranda and have a view of the beach. This is a privately owned unit and the booking was made with the owner and not the actual resort. When I booked, I was advised that parking was available however on the day of arrival the owner sent a message saying that there is a possibility someone may park in our allocated park and to leave a note on their car. This happened to us and due to the area of the accommodation there was nowhere to park near the resort meaning we parked a very long way away and had to carry all of our belongings. The owner was not responsive to my message. Unit is advertised as having a private pool & hot tub. This is very misleading- there are 2 pools and the smaller one has a spa attached but they are used by a lot of hotel guests and was absolutely full of people so we didn’t use it - not what I’d call private. The room is quite dated & the bed, linen, towels were all showing their age. We didn’t like that the owner leaves their personal toiletries in the bathroom- there was a half a bottle of body wash and bubble bath left in the shower. Overall not somewhere I’d return to or recommend.
