Staff were amazing, helpful, keen to chat and share their knowledge. Coffee cups and wine beakers supplied but NO other utensils or crockery supplied iie ....no teaspoons or even disposable stirrers.

• Maurice (8/5): - Mooie plek. Als je graag een keer in een regenwoud wil verblijven en echt back to basic dan is dit een goede keuze. Het is basic maar goed voor een nacht. Restaurant aan te bevelen. Mocht iets meer proper zijn. En bed kraakte maar sliep prima.
• Michael (8/5): Friendly staff, lovely location - Very friendly staff. Cool little place right at the end of the sealed road just past Cape Trib. Lots of nearby activities a short drive away. Surrounded by jungle and near the beach. I don't understand why they don't get StarlinkWiFi. There's no WiFi or phone signal available on the property and it would be easy enough to supply it and add the cost to the rooms if necessary. Just makes it a bit of a pain if you need to organise stuff online. The food in the restaurant is very good but veggie options are limited if you're staying for a couple of days. Shame about the crocs and jellyfish. There's no beach with stinger nets or lifeguard that's safe to swim.
• Christina (7/5): Great location in the rainforest which was a special experience. - Great location in the rainforest. The room was big with a nice bathroom. The seating area outside the room was nice. We enjoyed the meals we had in the restaurant and our kids enjoyed playing the games provided. We had requested a travel cot for our baby-this was provided in the room with clean sheets. However, the netting on the cot sides was ripped in several places and the fabric did not look clean. The barrier for the top bunk bed was slightly damaged so it fell off when our son touched it-luckily he did not need to sleep on there as we had an extra bed. The room was generally clean but my bedside table was sandy/dusty-it would be good to wipe these down between guests.

• Denise (6/5): It is a beautiful location but too expensive to sleep on damp sheets and pillows. - The location is great and the on site restaurant was really good. The air conditioner in our room was t working g correctly not was barely cooling and not drying the air at all. Everything g was damp when we entered especially the beds g and the room smelled strongly like mould. Three days later when we checked out everything we had brought with us was damp, all of our clothes etc. I have lived in Cairns for 15 years so am used to humid conditions but something more was happening here. From the bottom bunk in our family room you could see the mould in the wooden slats in the underside of the top bunk.

Spotlessly clean with a fabulous comfortable large bed and decent sized bathroom Nothing, but don’t expect a 5 star European style property, it’s in a rainforest in Northern Queensland not in Los Angeles so temper your expectations proportionally

Close to the beach The floor in the accommodation was disgusting, it was so dirty I didn't want my toddler on the floor with all the hair. Which sucks because then you can't trust the cleanliness of anything else....

• Francoise (8/5): Très contents car bel endroit en pleine forêt dans de chouettes (petits) bungalows - Bel endroit en pleine forêt , très chouette piscine sous les arbres, testée même sous une pluie tropicale ;-) La plage avait l'air très bien mais c'était l'époque des méduses et des crocos..... Nous y avons très bien mangé (produits de la mer ou autres) et les gros cookies à commander arrivent tout chauds et sont délicieux ! Le breakfast un peu sommaire : oeuf et pain sans aucune forme d'accompagnement et pas de buffet sauf pour les groupes

• Aniket (9/5): Rainforest meets beach. - I stayed here 21 years ago, glad to see that it hasn't changed much, obviously a bit older and needs a bit of maintenance here and there, but great location in the rainforest but 20m to the beach. Amazing star viewing as it's so dark on the beach.

Restaurant was great for dinner and Breakfast ( did not have lunch there) Was a clear night and it was great to see the stars at night from the beach. Next morning being the rain forest, it rained, but still able to enjoy the beach with an umbrella. The Daintree is a very special place.

On est proches du centre et, si vous faites des excursions avec Océan Safari, ils viennent vous chercher. Les fourmis dans la chambre et le fait de ne pas avoir Wifi. Quand on organise un long voyage c est un peu gênant.
• Michaelides (10/5): Exciting, awe inspiring experience of a real rainforest - Magical surroundings like nothing else on earth. The ground isn't cleared, the huts are inside the rainforest surrounded by trees that evolved before dinosaurs and you can feel it. Next to the restaurant behind some trees is an incredibly beautiful beach, which is untouched by man because it is known to be guarded by crocodiles, although I was disappointed that I didn't see any. I wish we stayed longer than 2 nights

• Leah (8/5): Clean, simple and comfy - The room was simple, clean and everything worked. Air con worked a treat. The pool and restaurant is lovely, a beautiful spot to spend time and unwind in the rainforest. And you need a pool when you are in the tropics and can’t swim at the beach!! The only downside was the towels - they put striped towels on our bed which we thought were for the pool. But then later realised they were the only towels provided, so they must have been bath towels as well? I’m still confused, because bath towels are usually white, not striped. But not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

• MH Consulting GmbH (8/5): Wunderbarer Pool und lohnenswertes Restaurant - Der Pool war sehr erfrischend; die Sitzgelegenheiten im Poolbereich bequem und - in der off season - ausreichend. Die Lage ist auch außerordentlich, direkt am Strand (ob man sich dort wegen der Gefahr von Krokodilen wohl fühlt, sei dahingestellt). Das Essen im Restaurant ist auch lobenswert, insbesondere, da zu Beginn der Regenzeit nur noch wenige Gäste den Weg dorthin finden und trotzdem das Angebot aufrechterhalten wird. Es gibt in dieser Jahreszeit nur noch wenige Restaurants im Daintree NP, die überhaupt noch ein Dinner anbieten! Die Anlage ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Gesamteindruck lässt sich sicher durch wenige Maßnahmen verbessern: Die Oberfläche unseres Kühlschranks war wirklich sehr schmutzig. Auch im Bad hätten manche Fugen gelegentlich von Schmutz und Schimmel gereinigt werden können. Die Terrasse in unserem Bungalow hatte trotz vier Betten nur drei Sitzgelegenheiten auf der Terrasse. Alles Kleinigkeiten, die sich im Grunde genommen leicht abstellen lassen.

Perfect for a quick stopover at Cape Tribulation, which is a must for anyone visiting Northern Queensland! Didn't bother us, but forget about your phone while you're there, as no wifi and zero signal!

• Michele (10/5): Beautiful surroundings, breath taking beaches, rainforest surroundings, excellent resturant, pool. - From our welcome at reception, to being transported down to the room, we felt welcome. The accommodation consists of charming bungalow-style units with excellent facilities. Each room includes a kettle and a small fridge stocked with milk, tea, coffee and other welcoming touches. The beds were extremely comfortable, supported by good-quality pillows, and both the air conditioning and ceiling fan kept the room pleasantly cool throughout our stay. A short walk brings you to a truly beautiful beach, while the entire site feels enveloped by the rainforest. Waking to the chorus of birds and the gentle sounds of the forest was a particular highlight. The restaurant was very good, serving tasty dishes in generous portions. Jess welcomed us warmly and offered consistently friendly and attentive service. One of the loveliest aspects of dining there was seeing couples and families talking, laughing, and playing games together rather than being absorbed in their phones. The pool was a good size, spotlessly clean, and a real pleasure to swim in. Overall, this is a wonderfully peaceful place to stay, blending comfort, nature and excellent hospitality. nothing

Warmwasser (zu) knapp. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis am Limit.
