Vue sur la ville incroyable depuis la terrasse partagée Une fois sur la place de parking plus besoin de bouger tout est accessible à pied Évacuation de la douche hors de la douche , du coup on a vite les pieds dans l'eau dans la salle de bain , un tapis de douche serait le bienvenue

- Joke (9/5): Super mooi - De ligging is supermooi! Je kijkt uit over de hele stad. Vlakbij 2 mooie bezienswaardigheden, het kasteel en een oud ottomaans huis. De kamer was als nieuw en alles zat er in! Met zorg ingericht! Host is superaardig en heeft ons goed geholpen. Ontbijt was top! We hebben enorm genoten Niets! Alleen de weg er naartoe is een uitdaging! Wel belangrijk dat je de instructies van de host opvolgt, die hij toestuurt!
- Ruud10 (10/5): Dokonalé ubytování v Gjirokastëru!! - Toto ubytování bylo dokonalé. Nádherný výhled na hrad a na město, parkovací místo u domu. Snídaně, na kterou budete vzpomínat. Vše uklizené a čisté. Pan domácí a paní, která nám chystala snídaně byli velmi příjemní a po každé prosbě nám vyšli rychle vtříc. Jak psali předchozí ubytovaní, pokud pojedete do Gjirokastëru, prostě si vemte toto ubytování!!! A cesty nahoru se nebojte, je to úplně v pohodě a pan majitel v případě potřeby příjede na pomoc.

- N (10/5): Best choice 👌 - The location is perfect! It is near the castle and the bazaar so you can easily explore the best parts of the city. The house is so pretty, and the room very cozy. Everything is clean, and the view is amazing. Had an amazing stay here. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and helpful.
- Cedric (9/5): Schöner Ausblick - Auch wenn es anstrengend ist, aus der Stadt hoch zu laufen, da die Unterkunft wirklich ganz oben gelegen ist, lohnt sich der Aufstieg, da man einen atemberaubenden Blick über Gjirokaster hat. Das Frühstück war sehr nahrhaft und viel. Der Hausherr wirkte zu teilen etwas „hektisch“ bzw. gestresst (hat aber vielleicht einfach viele Termine und viel zu tun). Die Unterkunft war trotzdem klasse.

Anfahrt mit Auto etwas schwierig, weil Google auf Wege und Gassen navigiert, die mit dem Auto nicht zu befahren sind. Unbedingt die Infos des Besitzers beachten.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder! Bei der Anfahrt unbedingt den Weg befolgen, den man vom Vermieter zugeschickt bekommt und nicht Google Maps.

Petit déjeuner copieux dressé sur la terrasse par notre hôte à une heure décidée par nous. La maison est sur les hauteurs de la ville, le Gps nous a perdus avec un vehicules 9 places dans les ruelles étroites et pentues. Petit moment de stress, nous avons appelé l'hôte qui est venu nous chercher. Un rendez-vous fixé aux abords de la ville pourrait être une solution !

- Štefan (10/5): Gjirokater - A szállás csodálatos helyen van fent a hegytetőn. Gyönyorű tiszta maximàlisan mindennel ellátott, internet tökéletes,reggeli is szuper. A szállás alatt 100-200 méterre rengeteg szórakozási és étkezési lehetőség. A házigazda kedves. Bárkinek ajánlom, de autóval az menjen, aki tud is vezetni a macskaköves utcákon, mert azokon közlekedni az kihívás és sokszor nem centizésre, de milliméterezésre van szükség az utcákban. Azokat, akik az Osumi kanyonból érkeznének Gjirokasterbe a Google maps szerint, ami durván 70 km t jelez, el kell, hogy keserítsem, mert 30 km után véget ér az út (igaz dolgoznak rajta) , de a kerülő 240 km - de megérte.

- Ursa (10/5): Amazing place to stay - Everything, the apartment, view, host - we also got some fresh figs :) Way to the appartment goes through the old town, which looks a but narrow at the beginning (it is not, I am just not used to it) but host came with his car and escorted us to the apartment. I really did not expect that and really appreciated it - at the end it was not that difficult as I expected.

Anreise durch die schmalen Straßen war ein Abenteuer, aber diese Unterkunft war es mehr als Wert! Wir würden jederzeit gern wieder kommen! We had originally booked a double room, which turned out to be a bit too small, and on arrival we also noticed the light was not working. The host very kindly offered us an apartment free of charge instead, which was a wonderful gesture. The accommodation is on the mountains, so you are rewarded with stunning views, but do be prepared to drive up some very steep roads. We also found that the address provided on Booking.com was not entirely accurate, so I recommend reaching out to the host directly for the exact location. Breakfast was also absolutely lovely – thank you!
- Caroline (10/5): Belle adresse, bien située, accueil très chaleureux - Freddy nous a très chaleureusement accueillis et s’est rendu disponible pour nous conseiller sur les visites alentours. Le logement est propre et optimisé, c’est confortable et calme. Le logement est situé en haut de la vieille ville et la vue est absolument grandiose, sur la ville neuve en bas, sur le château à droite, et sur la montagne en face, incroyable ! On peut accéder à la vieille ville à pied, au château aussi et au pont Ali Pasha, situé à 30 minutes à pied. Le petit déjeuner est complet, que dis-je ! Il est royal. Et pour clôturer les nombreux points positifs, il y a un figuier, l’un des plus beaux et des plus fournis d’Albanie 😊 en savoureuses figues. Un grand merci à Freddy et aux dames qui gèrent cet endroit. Nous recommandons 💯

- Guest (9/5): Aanrader. - Heerlijk huisje. Bijna bovenaan de stad en vlakbij de typische te bezoeken items. Ongelooflijk uitzicht. Zeer vriendelijke host. Parking. Standaard Albanees ontbijt maar zeer verzorgd. Echt genieten. Rijden in de stad is een avontuur maar de host is ons komen halen en reed ons voor. We hebben hier een leuke 2 dagen gehad Onze meisjes sliepen op een zetelbed. 1 helft was best hard. De jongste heeft er prima geslapen maar zelf had ik er niet graag gelegen.

- Sophie (10/5): Top op de top (vd berg) - Prachtig gelegen met subliem uitzicht over Gjirokaster! Ruime kamer met keuken, ideaal om eens iets zelf klaar te maken. De eigenaar is heel behulpzaam bvb voor een extra kookpot enz. Hij komt elke morgen ter plaatse om het ontbijt klaar te maken met brood, feta, confituur en elke morgen ander fruit. Ik was een tshirt vergeten en hij heeft dit via koerier kunnen sturen naar ons volgende hotel!! Als je niet gewoon bent van in stijle kassei-straatjes te rijden kan dit wel wat afschrikken maar de weg via het kasteel is heel comfortabel!! Dus geen google maps volgen !

Very well stocked with anything you could possibly need (dishes, utensils, glassware, pots/pans, iron/ironing board, washing machine, drying rack. The whole place was spotlessly clean, bed was comfortable, and a delicious breakfast was provided each morning. Parking is available onsite. Fantastic views of old town and just a short walk to the old bazaar, castle, and Cold War tunnels. We absolutely loved our stay here! A little tough to get to by car because the roads are narrow and there are a lot of one way streets that are not clearly marked. We were very grateful that the host met us to guide us to the home otherwise we would have gotten lost.

- Raphael (9/5): - Die Terasse und die Aussicht sind wunderschön. Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker und ausgiebig. Zimmer ist gemütlich und charmant eingerichtet. Vor allem ist der Besitzer freundlich und herzlich. Für Jemanden der wenig Erfahrung mit engen und sehr steilen Sträßchen hat kostet es etwas Überwindung die Unterkunft zu erreichen.
- Yakup (1/5): Teleurstellend verblijf – beneden verwachting😭 - Ik maak een rondreis door Albanië en dit was helaas het slechtste verblijf tot nu toe. Voor veel minder geld kreeg ik elders een uitgebreider en vers ontbijt. Hier was het karig en stond het te vroeg voor de deur. Op dag twee heb ik het ontbijt zelfs laten staan en ben vertrokken. De voorzieningen zijn dringend aan vervanging toe: een ouderwetse wasmachine, een klein en onpraktisch strijkplankje, en een slecht strijkijzer. Alles voelt gedateerd en oncomfortabel aan. Zeker geen €45 waard en ik raad aan om iets beters ter plaatse te zoeken. Mijn ervaring met dit verblijf was helaas teleurstellend. Bij aankomst werd ik direct naar mijn kamer gebracht en vroeg de host onmiddellijk om de betaling. Dit voelde erg ongemakkelijk en onprofessioneel. Ik had deze accommodatie gekozen omdat er volgens Booking.com een wasmachine en strijkijzer beschikbaar waren. Helaas werkte de wasmachine niet goed en moest ik gebruikmaken van een alternatieve wasmachine met een erg vuile wasbak. Het strijkijzer was oud en werkte nauwelijks, waardoor mijn kleding niet goed gestreken werd. De strijkplank was zo klein dat ik op de grond moest zitten om te strijken, wat zorgde voor pijn aan mijn rug en nek. Wat betreft het comfort: de kamer was gehorig. Ik kon voetstappen van boven horen en er was constant geluidsoverlast van blaffende honden buiten. Het ontbijt was zeer mager: drie sneetjes brood, een klein potje boter en confituur, enkele komkommerschijfjes en tomaten, twee kleine worstjes en eieren. Hoewel ik had aangegeven om 9:00 uur te willen ontbijten, werd het ontbijt al om 8:00 uur voor mijn deur gezet. De eieren waren toen al gebakken, waardoor ik noodgedwongen om 8:30 uur ben gaan ontbijten om te voorkomen dat ze koud werden. Mijn advies: één dag in Gjirokastër is voldoende. Voor een langer verblijf raad ik aan om ter plaatse een accommodatie te zoeken en er zijn betere opties voor dezelfde of zelfs een lagere prijs. Dit verblijf was de €45 per nacht absoluut niet waard.

Ponemos reseña negativa por no recibir ningún tipo de indicacion para llegar a la casa, con la dificultad que tiene. Sólo una ubicación de maps . Arriving at the house and the car park is a wreck. Steep curves with cobblestones and sharp turns where the car does not fit. We give a negative review for not receiving any kind of indication to get to the house, with the difficulty it has. Only a map location.
- Isaac (8/5): Wunderschöner Ausblick von der Terrasse und günstig stehenden Fenstern - Standort Zimmer, hatte alles was man braucht. Das Bad sah neu renoviert aus. Die Aussicht auf die Stadt und unglaublich schön. Man sieht auch die ca 15 Minuten fußläufig entfernte Burg. Panorama 🤩 Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist sehr Steil und end an manchen Stellen sehr eng! Gekonnte Autofahrer sollten aber kein Problem haben.

Petit astuce après avoir reçu les coordonnées GPS, pratique, quand vous arrivez près du château, sol pavé, en voiture continuez comme si vous alliez au château mais vous descendez encore. Et longé le vieux centre en passant près du kinema et à droite et vous continuez en descendant puis vous monterez au paradis.
- Ceri (8/5): Excellent View - Excellent location for an incredible view overlooking Gjirokastër. Very comfortable bed. Really nice patio. We had an issue with the espresso machine not working and the owner quickly replaced it with a brand new one. We love to walk / hike so the 'hike' up to the property wasn't an issue but if you wanted to head out for a 'relaxed' walk or get a quick bite to eat / drink or a even a few groceries it could become very tiresome. Not a property for those with mobility issues or in the best of health. It would be difficult to find if relying on Google maps but the owner was very nice and met us. The bathroom is a bit of an issue with water not being properly contained in the stall and we found that the washing machine had a leak. Between those two the bathroom seemed to always be damp. No heating in the bathroom so for us (staying in March) it was very cold.

Квартира новая и идеально чистая. Я даже не знаю, как можно было создать такой уровень чистоты. Просто 20 из 10. Удобно добираться до основных достопримечательностей. Мы везде прошли пешком. И до старого базара, и до вида на мост Али Паши и до музеев. Хозяин предоставил инструкцию, как лучше проехать до отеля по старым улочкам. Поехали по его рекомендации и добрались без каких-либо проблем. Вид с террасы тоже впечатляет. Рекомендуем.

Chiar și șofatul pe străzile înguste și în pantă din oraș mi-a plăcut foarte mult . Bucătăria este echipată cu tot ce trebuie. - Aleksandar (10/5): Highly recommend this place! - Great place to stay with the most incredible view! The property looked like it was brand new, had everything we needed, beds were very comfortable, bathroom was great, and everything was perfectly clean. It’s on top of a hill which is why the view is so spectacular, great place to sit on the terrace and enjoy the view while having a drink/something to eat. It also has a kitchen with everything we needed so we could cook a few meals, and even has a coffee machine. Location was good, close to everything you would want to see and to the restaurants. And the owner was a very nice guy, didn’t speak much English but was always willing to help with anything we needed. Would definitely stay again! The property is up on a hill which won’t be an issue for most people, but it was for us because our car is old and has a problem with the engine, so it was struggling to make it up the hill (though any normal car won’t have this issue). Also don’t trust google maps, make sure you ask the owner for a map of which route to take if you will be driving there yourself.

- Judy (10/5): - We stayed in the studio and were very comfortable in this clean and well set up area. The host is generous with coffee supplies, and we could cook simple meals. The terrace is great with a magnificent view. The old city is very hilly and to explore involves hills and we found the walk up to Emblematic bearable. Zekate House is 20 metres on the same level. Well worth a visit, and they have a lovely bar to sit with the same fantastic view. Google maps led us astray, and the owner kindly rescued us. There is nothing to complain about for the residence, but don't trust Google maps. I notice we're not the first to be lead to impassable routes. The owner has suggested that he'll forward the best route in his notes.. Check these first.

- Sian (10/5): - The view and location are stunning, overlooking the whole town but easily walkable to everything. (Beware some slight hills coming home but that’s what you get for the view!) The owner was lovely and picked me up from my taxi when arriving late at night to make it easy to find. Actually had the whole place and veranda to myself as the other two rooms weren’t occupied - was heaven! Studio apartment was huge and had everything I needed for a couple of relaxing days reseting (washing machine, coffee, couch… a shower screen and curtain! ) Loved everything!

The house is fully equipped with everything necessary (cuisine, laundry, fridge , coffee machine etc). The host was really welcoming and responsive in helping us with his advises. Always available, he suggested us what to do and where to go during our stay, don't hesitate to ask. I would recommend this apartment and come back sometime. Wonderful city and delicious cuisine.
