• dennis (10/5): Buen hotel - Me gustar el lugar, la piscina. Es 5 minutos del ferry por Paquera, y cerca de unos buenos restaurantes. El personal era muy amable. Tiene cafe libre.

• Donna (8/5): Not one person in the water... - Walking distance to the water. Vehicle was inside behind walls. Boardwalk area was nice in the evening, lots of activity. Nothing to do in the extreme heat besides the pool. Beach water is quite polluted. Not one lamp in the room.

• Allan Lizano (9/5): Buena relación calidad-precio. - La relación calidad precio es muy buena. La habitación estaba limpia y cuenta con 2 camas, baño amplio, televisión y un refrigerador. El hotel también cuenta con una piscina y tiene una ubicación cercana al ferry (3 minutos a pie).
• Klaus (8/5): Für Stop over okay - Die Lage des Hotels ist gut für ein stop over geeignet, wenn man - wie wir - mit der Fähre ankommt. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit, das Zimmer war sauber. Es gab nur ein kleines Seifenstück im Bad, das ist für Costa Rica eher untypisch. Unser Zimmer war recht klein, für längere Aufenthalte nicht geeignet.

• Stephan (9/5): Wunderbares Hotel mit freundlichem Personal - Für eine Nacht in Pontarenas war es ein super Hotel. Der Pool war gross und sauber. Das Personal sehr freundliche und englischsprechend. Leider gab es kein Frühstück, aber wir konnten im Cafe Suka ein sehr gutes Sandwich essen. Wenn man am nächsten Tag auf die Fähre geht, super Hotel. Nichts

• Simon M. Müller (8/5): Sehr zu empfehlen. Kurzer Weg zur Fähre - Die Nähe zur Fähre ist unschlagbar.Das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Die Ausstattung ist passend, die Betten bequem. WiFi im Zimmer etwas schwach, aber das ist ja bei weitem nicht das Wichtigste. Wir hatten Zimmer Nr. 5, welches im oberen Geschoss war. Wir haben eine ruhige Nacht verbracht. Die Fotos sind aktuell. Das nahegelegene Restaurant Tiki ist ebenso zu empfehlen. ---

Pero la recepcionista - La tranquilidad y seguridad Una de las recepcionistas tenía mal modo para tratar la gente . Además la revisión de la habitación me parece una forma agresiva de despedir al huésped .

• Monique (8/5): Accueil super, Alexa l’hotesse a l’accueil , a tout fait pour repondre à nos questions. Vraiment adorable! - La proximité avec l’embarcadère du ferry et la piscine! Les sodas le long de la promenade. Quantité d’iguanes dans le petit jardin. Pas de petit dejeuner mais on vous offre du café toute la matinée . Sinon la ville n’a pas beaucoup de charme. Pas necessaire d’y passer plus d’une nuit. Possibilité de faire une excursion d’une journée à Tortuga island, plusieurs tours operators le proposent. On a choisi coco’s tour à 2 pas de l’hotel. Ils ont été top!

• Torben (8/5): Solides Hotel in interessanter Lage - Für eine Nacht war es gut. Lage sehr gut: an der Spitze dieser interessanten Landzunge! Gefrühstückt haben wir am Fähranleger nebenan. Das Zimmer+ Bad direkt am Pool war klein und recht dunkel.

• Margaret (8/5): Happy to return again! - Diego and Jordi were great, and kept the pool and grounds looking wonderful! The a/c worked so well we had to raise the temp a bit, and the location by the ferry was perfect, albeit maybe a bit noisy when trucks were disembarking a couple of blocks away. The room needed a chair, and we weren’t sure the patio door locked properly, and there were no bars for the towels.

• James (8/5): Nice, clean facilities and an excellent location as well - The location was fine. There were plenty of restaurants and things to do near the point in the evenings. Lots of food booths, and people yelling about. It was very easy walking around the neighborhood.

The bed frame (in room #2) makes a loud squawk evertime you move on the bed.We stay here alot and have never had a complaint, but our last stay was not a restful night. We will be back but not to room 2.

There was major construction going on, starting at 7:30 am. Also, quite a bit of road noise much of the night. There were no bedside lamps, just overhead lights.

• Kassianne (3/5): Great staff but poor facilities - The staff was extremely helpful in any way that they could! There was also a gated parking lot, and it was walking distance to restaurants. The 3-star hotel felt more like cheap motel. The bed was very bad. There were ants crawling along the walls and a big enough crack in the door that a small lizard got in. Everything was a bit dingy and dirty. While it was cheap, we had much nicer stays for the same price in other locations.

The room was bare bones but for $75 what can you expect The street was noisy & at 430 a.m. a room close to us was playing thump thump music. Also I had to ask the night clerk to tell the 2 guys in the pool turn their boom box down. Overall I was disappointed in general w Punteranas & would never go there again.

• Karen (7/5): Nice place and great location if you are taking the ferry. - Great central location. Close to the ferry. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They offer coffee and tea in the open lobby. They have a very secure place to park your car off of the street. Pool area is nice. Breakfast is not included and there is not a restaurant on site. Mattress could use an upgrade. I didn't sleep well because of the bed and also the noise from the big trucks at night preparing to take the ferry.
