- Anton (8/5): - Geräumiges Zimmer. Ruhig. Auswahl an Eierspeisen zum Frühstück. Abendessen à la Carte! Gute Lage.

- Robert (8/5): Good place for a one night stop over. - The property is located in the middle of the town. It is of traditional Swiss design and has clean comfortable rooms. The staff were efficient but not very friendly

- Matthew (8/5): Super stay in a great location at a very fair price - Great location, staff were excellent, food in the restaurant was very high quality. A few extras would make a difference - water cooker or ideally a coffee machine in the bedroom, there was also limited parking.
- Jean-Pierre (9/5): - Calme, accueil, qualité du repas. RAS

- Ava (8/5): Very good - Was a nice hotel. Good location for what we wanted The room was hot, no air conditioning and no fans
- Jan (7/5): Great place for dinner, cool common areas, old outdated room - Excellent Restaurant Rooms outdated and too little value for the money. Breakfast was an extra CHF 23/person on a CHF 200 room charge for a room which appears to be built in 1970 and never changed.
- Fred (9/5): Superb - Food was great
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Sheila (10/5): Lovely hotel - Lovely big bedroom. Well appointed. Huge bathroom. Excellent food in the restaurant. The breakfast buffet wasn't quite as good quality as the lunch and dinner.
- Alex (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (9/5): Superb -
- Sonja (10/5): Beautiful clean hotel with fabulous breakfast. Easy walk to everything you need. - Great location. Clean and large rooms.
- Matej (8/5): Great price point. - Finnish and turkish sauna. Good breakfast. Peacefull, great cottage like ambience in the common areas. You could feel the wood through the bed.
- Tal (9/5): Superb -
- Clive (10/5): Exceptional - The staff went out their way to help us by cooking us dinner even though we missed the kitchen opening hours. They were very happy and helpful throughout our stay.
- Gsz (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely and very charming hotel. The hotel restaurant was excellent for dinner after long day of travel. Very very pleasant suprise. Highly recommend!
- Marcus (3/5): Poor. Not good value for money. - Clean and good location for what we needed. First photos on the listing are very misleading and the hotel is in need of refurbishment as it is very dated. We booked a double room with balcony and “view”. The “view” was of a tree and a dirty courtyard. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Owner made a silly comment when we checked in about we’d booked the cheapest room (which wasn’t the case!). Was charged £22 for 2 bottles of water and a coke which was outrageous! Not good value for money.

- wanderwho (10/5): Bliss in the Swiss Alps - We stayed at Hotel La Cruna over Christmas 2023. We absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is family owned and run. It was so lovely to see the family moving about their lives, while providing exceptional service to their guests. Diana and ‘big Joe’ as he introduced himself, were so accommodating, approachable and helpful. The daily breakfast was lovely, and we dined in the restaurant for dinner a couple of times. The food was very nice. The hotel has a room to store ski gear, and a lovely spa area, helping ease the aches of a day worth of skiing.
We loved the location of this hotel. We opted not to stay in Andermatt, and wanted to stay in a more quaint village and away from hoards of tourists. Sedrun did not disappoint, and was an easy commute and close proximity to Andermatt and Disentis, so offered the best of all ‘worlds’ in the beautiful Swiss alps.
We will definitely be back! Thanks Jo and Diana. See you again in a year or two.
- As (7/5): Ok for a night or two. Sauna area is a real plus. - A bit of an old fashioned place at the main road to/from Oberalppass which has its own charm. The Sauna-area was great. The staff was either a bit uninterested or overly interested but always seemed a bit "critical" of guests. Somehow difficult to connect to. But correct.
- Carl (10/5): Exceptional - Great hotel, very friendly staff great food All was good
- Charlotte (7/5): Good -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cecilia (10/5): Loved our stay - comfortable room, lovely staff, superb restaurant and breakfast, great location. - Very friendly, helpful and lovely staff, which made us feel right at home. Superb breakfast. Great amenities, especially after a long ski day (sauna, bar...). The hotel has its own restaurant, which serves delicious food (we stayed there for dinner pretty much everyday for an entire week!). Very charming decor. Well located and well connected. Definitely recommend! Everything was great.
- Geoff (8/5): Good - Hotel was very nice and central Expensive
- Sirtoli (9/5): for one night perfect - restaurant was amazing nothing
- Octavian (9/5): Superb -
- Swissdiver (10/5): Great family-run hotel in Sedrun - Lovely stay from the beginning to the end. In details...
I'll start with the only two small annoyances: the hotel lies on the (no so busy) main street (like all the other accommodations in Sedrun) and the website doesn't show all the available rooms.
All the rest was very positive: nice welcome, great room (a new Junior suite), large, with a balcony and a big bathroom by some sort of dressing room. Good breakfast with anything you would like.
There is also a little spa, with a steam bath and a sauna.
I also had two great dinners, one in the restaurant I'll report separately, and a fondue the owner kindly arrange for me.
So overall I had a great time in a great place, unfortunately rather far from home.
- John (10/5): Excellent -
- Ivan (9/5): Superb -
- Lukas (6/5): Very nice staff, good food - Big rooms, nice location, nice staff, very nice breakfast A little bit dates furniture
- Manuel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elnawawi (9/5): A great stop on the Swiss Alpine Journey - Friendly Staff, especially Beatriz who received us very welcomingly on a very rainy day, she kept her positive energy even though we dined late. I liked the smart lighting in the common areas but the room hallways missed that or didn't work so the hallway is dark until the light switch is found . Minor point but good to tackle.
- Kristina (10/5): Excellent and cozy stay - Very comfortable and cozy stay, felt very safe Nothing bad to say
- Illya (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect! One of the best stays in my life!
- Duncan (10/5): The welcoming service was fantastic. - Beautiful property with very pleasant, hard working staff. will revisit for sure.
- WillemFr (10/5): Very good family hotel - the restaurant is excellent! - We enjoyed a full week of winter sports at hotel Cruna with the entire family (14 people in total). The hotel and restaurant exceeded our expectations. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious, wifi connection very stable. The best thing of our stay was the cosy restaurant: fine dining with a varied 4-course diner and good service. The atmosphere in general is relaxed and great for families; everything is taken care of. Mainly Swiss guests, which we liked. The hotel and also Sedrun are relatively small: they don't feel like a tourist trap. Recommended!
- Jan (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (7/5): Good - location 80s style
- BeatrixD_13 (10/5): Beautiful combination of authentic and modern with great cuisine. - Quaint hotel; I love the combination of old/authentic and modern. Dinner was delicious and catered to special needs. Varied breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. Sauna/steamroom a bit small - but very functional. Half-board was great value. Just perfect!
- M7942CCpeterb (10/5): A Lovely Hotel and Restaurant! - We stayed for just one night during a tour of Europe and the Alps. We had stayed several years ago and designed our route based on being able to revisit. This a typical Swiss country hotel with a highly recommended restaurant with fabulous local food and a very good wine list.
Our group of 6 were all impressed with the fantastic restaurant staff, in particular, Beatrix and Adriana who were professional, knowledgeable and attentive , but most of all lots of fun and seemed to enjoy their job in this lovely hotel.
We will most certainly be returning!
- Peter (10/5): The restaurant staff, Beatrix and Adriana were the best we have encountered in many years. They made our stay memorable - This is an archetypal Swiss country hotel with a fantastic restaurant Nothing I particularly to dislike
- Nicholas (6/5): Watch out for the Swiss Basil Fawlty - Amazing breakfast Rudeness
- Nóra (10/5): Exceptional -
- oliviasM2851GL (4/5): Olivia S. - The food was very good but the staff seemed very stressed and the service was bad. More of a ripp-off regarding portions/quantity and pricing. Our boys where still hungry after the main dish, they always get full normaly. Unfriendly staff and a long waiting time. I felt bad asking for bread, we hardly got attention dining. No thank you or good bye when we left. Not coming back again for sure.
- BarbaraTravels (8/5): Excellent place to stay - I spent a week with a hiking group and this was our 'base camp'. The evening dinners were especially good and the family hospitality warm and efficient.
I missed my favorite TV channels in English, and my room was chilly but OK (they had not purged the radiators, probably because they were closing for a month just after we left).
All in all, I would happily go back there again.
- capnnallie (8/5): Cozy Place to Stay - Very cozy hotel centrally located in the heart of Sedrun, Switzerland. Family run, with very accommodating front desk staff. Asked to change rooms because of knee issue and front desk accommodated us. View from the room was beautiful. Room is small, but bathroom large and modern. Super clean with really nice bed linens and pillows.
Very nice terrace outside to sit and read or have a beer. Dinner on premises was excellent. Would definitely recommend.
- trondh790 (8/5): Fantastic dinner - The rooms are a little oldfashioned but cosy and works well. No blinds on the window so will be light early in the room. The dinner we had was a fantastic experience including the red wine they recommended. Very much recommended
- DomiTorreto (8/5): one night - Was there one night and had a very good impression. Family runed Hotel with a good restaurant too, can recommend that one very well. The prices are ok too, for the restaurant you maybe reserve when you are more than four people.
- MR-FIP (2/5): Bit of a Rip Off Hotel In Sedrun - 1. The booking with a well known Hotels web booking company said: Total Price Including Taxes and Fees" then later said "The price quoted including Taxes" - However come to check out and the hotel charge you an extra 4 CHF per person per night.
2. My room was advertised as with Mountain View, didn't get that
3. The Breakfast was OK but nothing special. Had better in other Swiss Hotels of the same star rating.
- erntravels (8/5): Nice, large room with balcony and view of the mountains - We spent one night here (room #24) on our way over the Overalp pass to Lauterbrunnen, picking Sedrun in case the pass was closed and we would need to take the train (with the car). Parking for the hotel is in a large lot just beyond the hotel and the receptionist will give you a paper showing permission to park in the lot. Our room was large by European standards with a closet (ten real hangers and shelves), twin beds with night tables and a luggage stool, easy chair, desk chair (used for our second suitcase), round table, balcony with another table and two chairs for looking at the nearby road and distant mountain. The bathroom amenities included liquid soap, 2 shampoos, 1 gel, vanity set, and set of two large, medium, and washcloths. Terrific hot water. There was a very noisy fan/light which we had to turn off at night. Wifi was okay. The reception was cheerful. Our room was quiet but there was little street traffic. (In season, rooms facing the road might be noisy.) We had dinner in the restaurant, which was satisfactory but typically Swiss expensive. Breakfast was also the usual Swiss style with fruits, breads, cheeses, meats, hard boiled eggs, and wonderful breads.
- MES5421 (10/5): Excellent stay - Nice & cosy family-run hotel with fantastic food, large wine selectio. The warm welcome of the hosts and the whole team are wonderful in their service provided. The Hotel is perfectly located in one of the best skiing spots in Switzerland.
- 891edwardw (10/5): Swiss Sports Vacation Perfection! - We truly enjoyed our stay in this Swiss family hotel. They delivered on everything you would expect from such a 3 Star hotel. The food was excellent, and was lovingly prepared and presented. The staff attempted to anticipate our wishes be it at breakfast or dinner. The owners personally drove the shuttle bus to the ski area, which was especially convenient after a day on the slopes. Our room along with the group use rooms were very clean. The staff was always very friendly. We can only recommend the hotel to others.
- 336sallyy (10/5): Fantastic Stay! - Decided to come to Sedrun on the Friday to miss the traffic and chose to stay at La Cruna - an excellent decision!
Beautiful room, fantastic evening meal, very friendly and attentive staff, super breakfast - all in all a brilliant stay.
- roberto_giavazzi (8/5): Very lovely, excellent restaurant - It's a very lovely small hotel, friendly staff and very easy to be reached from the railway station.
I got a basic, lovely and clean room with a new and comfortable bathroom.
My experience at the restaurant has been amazing. A very nice and relaxing environments, friendly service and EXCELLENT food.
As a complementary information I parked my car in Andermatt and I reached Sedrun by train in the evening.
The morning after I did a beautiful hiking back through Oberalppass. 5 hours of beautiful hiking. If 5 (6) hours hiking is too long you can cover part of the way back by train. Along the way you can easily find several railway stations
- Andreanne75 (8/5): Very nice hotel in Sedrun - I only spent one night in Sedrun and didn't get to use the hotel's facility, hence I can only review the room and the restaurant.
My room was a bit old fashioned, but as everywhere in Switzerland it was clean and functional. Maybe I would have thought there was too little space to store clothes and gear if I had been staying several nights for skiing, but for summertime and hiking it's enough. The bathroom was simple, but there again fully functional.
I had an excellent dinner with local delicacies and Swiss wine by the glass. The Breakfast buffet was also plentiful.
All in all a very good address, and I will definitely consider staying at the Cruna again next time I'm in Sedrun.
