- Jari (9/5): Matkailu avartaa... - Hotelli tarjosi kolmen yön yöpymiselle kaiken tarvittavan, huoneen ja vuoteen ominaisuudet olivat hyvällä mukavuustasolla. Aamiainen oli erinomaisen runsas ja monipuolinen, erityisesti sen henkilökunta ansaitsee kiitokset hyvästä palvelusta. Novenan metroyhteys oli kohtuullisen 15 min kävelymatkan päässä. Uima-allas ja alue sekä Gym olivat kuvauksen mukaisia ja toimivia. Nautimme hotellissa myös illallisen, joka oli oikein maistuva ja tässä yhteydessä täytyy myös mainita henkilökunnan hyvä palvelu. Varausta tehdessämme toivoimme huoneen sijainniksi ylemmistä kerroksista ja esteettömällä näkymällä. Saimme vahvistuksen pyyntöömme, jossa toiveemme mukainen huoneen saanti vahvistettiin. Melkoinen pettymys oli kun, saamassamme huoneessa oli näkymä vastapäisen talon seinään. Reklamaatioomme vastattiin viiveellä ja toivomamme järjestely onnistui seuraavalle päivälle, näkymän olessa halutun mukainen. Vastaanotto tiskin henkilöille toivoisi myös hieman lisää hymyä.

Was hungry and jet legged so wanted something easy.

The hotel is connected to a small mall that has several breakfast options (Starbucks, Toastbox, Macdonald's and a supermarket), making it extremely convenient for us to grab fruits, coffee, late night snacks etc. There is a very small park that has lots of benches. It's very pretty. Sipping a cup of coffee in the quiet space there is rather pleasing. The room is quite small and not located within the city center. So you do have to travel a little to places of interest. However, there is nothing to dislike, especially if you have a car/ do not mind taking a shuttle bus service to the nearest MRT station and you are out and about the whole day. It is a very good hotel that is clean, and has all the essentials and amenities you need in and around the hotel.

Was sehr gut ist, dass es ein Starbucks, MC Donalds und ein Einkaufscenter gleich um die Ecke gibt. Wir haben sehr kurzfristig Singapur gebucht und hatten nicht mehr viel Auswahl an HOtels und haben dieses Hotel daher nicht gezielt gebucht. Es blieb uns nichts anderes übrig. Es hat allerdings schon eine Jugendherberge Gefühl. Sauber war es. Nur die kleinen Zimmer, aber die Zimmergröße wussten wir ja.

Vivien was so helpful - when I asked her about the 21 On Rajah dining venue which is currently hosting a Balinese Feast Buffet through April 5th, curated by my number one favorite Balinese chef, Executive Chef I Made Wisnu Adiyatma of the Renaissance Uluwatu Resort & Spa, Bali, Vivien offered to walk me to the restaurant which is located away from the Aloft West Wing where reception is located, through the shopping mall, at another building. I am so grateful to Vivien for taking the initiative to walk me over since I would've gotten lost by myself, walking around in circles in the noon heat which was what happened to me at Clarke Quay! Vivien is such a kind hotelier and an excellent brand ambassador for, not just the Aloft Singapore Novena, but also Marriott BONVoY. From the moment we arrived, everything felt well organised and relaxed, which set a great tone for the night. The food was a real highlight. The roast chicken was juicy and flavourful, the steamed fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the spinach with mushroom was simple but surprisingly comforting. Every dish came out on time and was clearly prepared with care. What really elevated the experience was the service. Our server, Hermine, was attentive without being intrusive and constantly checked in to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Requests were handled quickly and with a smile, which made the whole evening feel effortless for us as guests. Special mention also goes to the managers, Izwan and May, who were incredibly helpful throughout the night. They were hands-on with setting up, clearing up, and facilitating the flow of activities, all while remaining calm and professional. It was clear they were always looking out for us and anticipating what might be needed next. Because of the team’s professionalism and care, the event ran smoothly from start to finish. Everyone was able to relax, enjoy the food, and focus on connecting with one another. I left the dinner genuinely happy, knowing everyone had a great night and that the venue played a big part in making it a success. I would gladly recommend this place for future company events again.
