• Yang (7/5): Lots of potential but rough around the edges at the moment. - Location was great - 20-25 minute walk to old quarter but close enough to great food options just steps away from the building. How the room was split, kitchen and half bath was outside the main living area and bedroom which meant it was accessible by all. There were no access controls to the floor and that was concerning. There was an emergency light/signage in the main bedroom that screamed green goblin and was pretty hard to ignore. We even asked staff to do something about it but it remained on throughout our stay. It lead to pretty horrible sleep for the two of us sleeping in the room.

• Verena (10/5): Wonderful Stay at The Five Suites Lilas in Hanoi - Our stay at The Five Suites Lilas in Hanoi was absolutely wonderful. The room was impeccably clean and equipped with truly outstanding furniture. Everything was incredibly comfortable and thoughtfully arranged. The attention to detail was impressive. The staff at the reception were all very friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast was adequate, and we appreciated that we could easily add extra egg variations if desired. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi. Everything was perfect! The only thing I would have wished for was some dishwashing liquid and a sponge.

• Claire (9/5): I’ll be back! - The hotel is in a fabulous location. We walked and walked through town. The room is really a full apartment. The kitchen is completely stocked and even has a full size refrigerator and an oven - a rarity in my experience in Asia. It’s such a beautiful place. I will be back. The staff were oddly distant as though they had somewhere better to be. I’m sure they do but it’s a funny way to treat guests.

• Kelly (6/5): It was a nice stay however comparing it to our previous hotel it is not value for money. - The bed was unbelievably comfy, the swivelling TV from the lounge to bedroom was a luxury never experienced before. With the breakfast it lacked variety but the freshly made eggs to order was wonderful, staff very very pleasant and accommodating. The room view looked directly onto a very close brick wall, the room had no daylight whatsoever, felt like living within a dark cave, you could not tell when it was daylight. The breakfast lacked variety considering how much the hotel charge per night, expected better, including the amenities, the gym is not a gym. It is a room with a treadmill and lockers very disappointing. All of which you have to prebook despite it lying empty daily. The sauna/steam room is not operational either. Outwith the hotel the location is quiet enough however it is not quite old town most eatery's are around 20-30minute walk away.
• Jeffrey (10/5): - Hotel location is great for families, its not as busy as some other parts of Hanoi but still only ~10min car ride from all the popular tourist spots and restaurants. Room is very modern and clean. Restaurant had a high chair available for infants/toddlers, we also requested a cot in our room for an infant and it was great. Note the wall sockets take local and EU/US type plugs, an adaptor is needed for AU/UK plugs.

• hansworst (8/5): Spectacular view on the West Lake - We booked a suite with two bedrooms and that was a really good choice. The suite was lovely and had a great balcony and view. The breakfast was nice with decent options (omelette,.pho, etc). The entire hotel has Japanese toilets which is an interesting experience. When we left, we could leave the luggage with them for a full day until our evening flight. There were quite some ants in the kitchen area of our suite. Even after the staff came to clean they kept coming back. The location is nice for the West Lake but not for the old quarter.

• Gerrit (10/5): Hidden gem - Perfectly located in the area near Truc Bach, quick grab to all the sights and old quarter but quiet and out of the way of the hustle and bustle. Rooms are very modern and met expectations based on photos. Good dining and drink options nearby. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Excellent breakfast. Minor nitpick but the lighting in the bathroom is not very good for putting on makeup.

• Alexa (9/5): Hotel was stunning. Wish we had longer. A little far from Hanoi Old Quarter but still only 5-10 minute Grab - Very clean and new, absolutely beautiful and neutral. Staff were very helpful. The TVs were hard to navigate and was a little bit far out of the main Hanoi old quarter but was easy enough to get to via Grab
