• Maja (10/5): - We absolutely loved our stay with Elena and Gilberto — it’s such a pity we were only there for one night! They are incredibly kind and welcoming people, and you can truly feel the passion they have for what they do. As farmers, they have created a beautiful eco-friendly garden full of fruits, vegetables, and herbs. They also introduced us to their goats, which was such a special experience. We truly appreciated the time they dedicated to us, all the thoughtful explanations about their work, and the opportunity to taste some of the delicious products from their farm. We also completely fell in love with Mono (their rescued dog), who is very much part of the family! They have a cat Martin as well, but he was a bit scared of us — maybe next time we’ll earn his trust 😊 The little house was super clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. We recommend bringing some food with you so you can cook for yourself and fully enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Thank you for such a warm, authentic, and memorable experience. We would love to come back!

• Schwab (10/5): A cabin with artistic flair - The hospitality of the hosts were sincere. They shared what they produced on their farm. The cabin was comfortable and many details are considered, for example extra pillows and towels. One gets to understand the farming culture. Although the road is a short hike to the main highway, where you can wave down a jeep, you are at the mercy of the jeep drivers who are likely to overcharge foreigners.
• Carine (10/5): 🌿 A charming stay and a meaningful connection with the people of the Zona Cafetera! - If you are looking for an exceptionally warm and authentic stay that will connect you with the local culture of the Zona Cafetera, look no further! This charming guest house is located on a small organic farm a very short drive from the vibrant town of Filandia. The biggest draw has to be the incredibly friendly and energetic hosts, Elena and Gilberto, who went out of their way to make us feel truly welcome! From giving us an enthusiastic guided tour of the grounds (a lovely hillside farm/garden with flowers, plantains, coffee plants, fruit trees, friendly and cute goats, and much more) to booking a visit with a small, local coffee finca (and even showing us the way on their motorcycle), and recommending the best restaurant in town (Helena Adentro, well worth a visit for lunch or dinner... Make sure to try the berenjena de finca ("eggplant from the farm") which is served with the soft goat cheese they make here!), the hosts did everything they could to show us a lovely time. They were so friendly and outgoing that we spent a couple hours just chatting with them in our limited Spanish (neither Elena nor Gilberto speak English but they always went the extra mile to make sure we understood everything... And if you are looking to practice your Spanish you're in luck!). This was a truly sweet stay where we felt like we had made an actual connection with the hosts, the kind of personal and human interaction that has become so rare in travel these days. Highly recommended. No complaints, but this is a simple guest house, so don't expect a truly deluxe experience. When we stayed at Tesorito House they did not yet have wifi, but they are planning on installing it soon.
• Boscán (10/5): Exceptional - The location and the staff. The owners are really friendly and kind. The road to the property is not in a good shape. The path is short but you will struggle a little bit driving to the property.
