Guest Reviews
- Benjamin (10/5): Very comfortable and well-appointed home - Wonderful character-filled home, close to everything. Nothing
- Wesley (7/5): -
- Robyn (10/5): We enjoyed our stay. We would happily book this accommodation when we revisit Bendigo. - Location was very convenient for our family event.
Breakfast was not included or required. Nothing disappointed us. All was as described by the property owners. We appreciated the parking advice and convenience of a nearby restaurant.
The property was well maintained and was thoughtfully presented.
- Jared (9/5): exactly as advertised -
- Coco (9/5): A pleasant stay - A nicely arranged and decorated house with good facilities - spacious, clean, with very comfy beds. It is also in a great location. Good communication from the property management too.
- Jennifer (8/5): A great place to have a stopover - Nice and clean Parking is a bit challenging for a big car
- Stevie Lee (7/5): -
- Ramon (7/5): The Bendigo vibe overall very charming - Charm and character, good kitchen and bathroom Beds were not comfortable enough for me. some areas in the home may have needed hand railing for safety reasons.
- Cheng (10/5): -
- Alison (7/5): Not quite luxury - Very well presented property, loved all the curios around the place. Well located and easy to find. There were no instructions for the use of the heater, house was cold on entry and took a while to work out the heating.
The coffee machine appeared to have not been cleaned for quite a while, and there was only small UHT milks in the fridge, not enough to make a milk coffee. There were no extras, most places we have stayed like this at least provide some snacks, or bread for breakfast, all that was provided here was salt and pepper and olive oil spray, the aforementioned UHT milks and coffee and tea.
There was crusty old laundry detergent in the washing machine
The 'luxury organic' shampoo, conditioner and hand wash were refilled with inferior products, and the pump labelled body lotion, was actually body wash.
The couches were also very grubby
I feel that the 'luxury' label.is not really deserved.
- Graham (4/5): Enjoyed the stay, but wouldn’t do it again due to traffic noise. - Lovely period terrace house close to Bendigo’s arts precinct.
Good hot water, once the problem of power supply was solved.
Good heating. Traffic noise.
Lack of long term parking outside. I had to park opposite the major divided road (if available) or around a nearby side street.
- Nico (8/5): -
- Lynette (7/5): - Beautifully restored terrace house.
Comfortable beds.
Very clean.
Kitchen well equipped but only 1 serving dish.
Heating excellent. The residence was advertised as 2 Bathrooms.
There was only 1 Bathroom, 1 Toilet
Totally misleading!
As a group of 6 this created difficulties.
Property on main road with a lot of traffic and subsequently noisy which made sleeping in front bedrooms difficult.
3rd Bedroom had no wardrobe or storage in which to place clothes.
Very few coat-hangers, 3 in total !
- Wendy (9/5): A delightfully restful, relaxing place to stay while visiting Bendigo. - A beautifully restored, curated and styled residence. Comfortably heated for the winter climate. The bedside tables had not been dusted - other than those, everything else was very clean. In the bedroom closest to the kitchen - which we chose to use to be further away from street noise - was awkward to manoeuvre around. We would have appreciated comfortable chairs in the glass roofed foyer to sit in the that winter sun drenched, light filled space.
- Dominica (9/5): Superb - Conveniently located to the art gallery and restaurants. Warm, clean and comfortable too Na
- Teresa (8/5): Very good - Beautiful terrace house with loads of amenities. Parking can be a problem. Just had to wait for one to open up in front of property.
- Miranda (6/5): Cosy Terrace House and Close to Art Precinct. - Lovely, bright terrace house with clever design and sympathetic to the era but not over the top.
Fire places remain in all the rooms, not in use of course.
Heating provided via underfloor ducting - very good.
Bedrooms have ample space.
The beds were comfortable. Fitted with electric blankets.
Plenty of crockery etc.
One step to enter house from the front street.
Japanese restaurant 3 doors away.
All surfaces in the house were dust free.
Tasteful decor and attention to using 'nick-nacks' from the era.
Separate toilet to bathroom.
Tasteful bathroom with a lovely bathtub and a separate shower and looks recently and carefully renovated.
All necessary detergents, body wash etc.
Neat garden.
Short walking distance to gallery and good cafes and restaurants.
Locals exceptionally friendly. The traffic noise. Accommodation is on a major road.
Noise lessened when front of house all closed.
Back yard parking is very tiny, off a lane and through a very difficult-to-open gate. Not suitable for anything bigger than a small hatchback with 360 cameras.
Owners need to sacrifice a bit more lawn and replace the gravel with concrete.
Back entry to house via steps.
Street parking out the front is only free from midday Saturday and on a Sunday.
Parking is in 1.5 hour blocks - no money required though.
Back room hasn't any hanging space.
Only three coat-hangers in whole property.
Toilet, bathroom and kitchen require guests to step down one deep step - not suitable for wheelchair.
Dishwasher and sink still needed a proper clean.
Couch covers and extra blankets were dirty but rectified while we were staying. Off-site manager very helpful.

- Jo (9/5): Superb -
- Ginz (7/5): Good - Very easy communication about property access. Good amenties I was surprised by the off street parking. This eas cumbersome
- Conrad (9/5): Beautifully appointed and tastefully done accomodation. - It was beautifully set up It was on a main road
- Anne (9/5): Clean and well located - Well located. Clean with all the necessities. Instructions were clear. Check in was simple Road noise was minimal Maybe some more glasses as 4 meant we were washing all the time. Bathroom sink also slow to drain
- Draper (9/5): Great house, great location - Location was great as walking distance to Bendigo Hospital, shops and restaurants. Two front bedrooms are right on the busy road, ear plugs are provided which was good.
- Phillip (6/5): Nice place centrally located but with only one bathroom - Centrally located It was advertised with 2 bathrooms yet there was only one. So wasn’t good for 2 couples
