• Pamela (7/5): A stone's throw from Kings Cross - The location, just off Pentonville Road and a short walk from King's Cross/St Pancras was spot on. The studio apartment is basic but had everything I needed.

There are shops and restaurants on the same street, but overall nice, calm and quiet area. The same time close to the center of London. Overall great stay experience! Thank you!

• Shwani (7/5): Clean and Well-Located Studio, but Noisy and Missing Some Comforts - The studio was very clean and conveniently located near both the train and bus stations. It was well-equipped with all the essential facilities we needed for a comfortable stay. Suitable for a maximum of 3 people. There were a few downsides during our stay. The bath area is quite small and outdated, which made it feel less clean, even though it was maintained. The studio is located directly above an underground station, so there was noticeable noise, especially at night, which made it hard to sleep. Unfortunately, the front windows can’t be opened and the door couldn’t be left open at night due to safety concerns, as it faces the street, although the area itself felt safe. It was also disappointing that there was no washing machine, and no proper space to dry or store clothes after washing. Lastly, the bed may be a bit small for taller guests, so that’s something to be aware of.
• Cory (10/5): Exceptional - The location was great, and we enjoyed the little patio. The host was great with the photos of how to find the place and the keys. It is a full-size bed, so if you're 6'2", you're going to be curling up a bit. (But the pillows are super comfy)

• Catherine (1/5): Insect infestation - What we liked before it all went wrong: We arrived 20 minutes before check in and the owner let us stay, even though we were early. Owner responded relatively quickly to messages. Spacious studio, well stocked cleaning cupboard, pots & pans, comfy bed. Infested with ants, clearly an ongoing problem as bait traps and ant killer powder already there. They swarmed from under the bed crawled over us, our belongings, the bed, everything. Not tolerable so we had to spend a good part of our stay trying to arrange alternative accommodation. It spoilt our whole trip as the stress of trying to deal with the situation and arrange alternative accommodation, repack, carry our luggage half a mile across a busy area & unpack in new accommodation took up half of the only full day we had on our trip. Owner did not apologise and expected us to wait in while they sent someone to poison the ants. We asked for a refund and although they agreed, they had to be prompted 4 times for it, telling us they forgot all about it. Eventually received a fraction of the costs without an explanation of how they came to that figure and ignored our query for an invoice so we could see why they had kept our money. We asked booking.com to intervene, but the owner has told them that its resolved and we were refunded. Apart from the insect infestation, there was hard wear and tear to the flat, floors were in bad condition, there was dried ketchup on the dining chairs, the sealant in bathroom was blackened, strong smell of damp when entering flat, shower head bracket loose, back yard very dirty. We would have been fine to overlook the more minor things due to price & location, but the insects crawling everywhere was not tolerable.
• Jenny (7/5): Good - Location was great for Kings cross station. Easy to find and communication was brilliant. The kitchen facilities were very useful to have and the enclosed outdoor seating area was handy to cool off, after a very warm day. Sadly the noise of the underground made it difficult to sleep and as there was no way to open the front windows or have the door open at night (safety reasons) it was really warm as no Aircon or a fan. It is very tired around the edges, but we only used it for a base.
• Holly (7/5): Good location, clean. ideal for a short city stay. could do with a little freshen up here and there - The host was very quick to reply to my messages regarding check in and also allowed us to drop our bags earlier than the allocated check in time which was very handy. Travel cot was available at our request and had been put up for us. Location very handy from king’s cross less than 10 minute walk down one main road. Area felt safe & was quiet and didn’t hear or see anything overnight. Was a good space for what we needed whilst enjoying a family trip to see the london sights. Was clean and tidy , plenty of wardrobe space and kitchen was handy for a quick bit of breakfast /coffee with plates and cutlery etc. Decent TV with apps for kids etc I felt the bathroom needed a little update but shower was still fairly good / powerful. The room could do with a fresh en up paint wise and some small DIY repairs. coffee machine worked once and was then leaking so didn’t use again . Unfortunately all the pillows were very uncomfortable as were memory foam and very big and firm some flatter / softer pillows would of been nice The double bed was very short in length my husband is tall and did not fit in length ways …

• Pietersma (8/5): Cozy and comfortable, central in London! - Very cozy and nice apartment for a short stay in London! It’s only a 10 min walk to the underground which makes it perfect for traveling around. The smoke alarm went off during our stay, but that was just a minor issue
• Jasmine (8/5): Clean & good location, bit of an ant problem - Super clean on arrival, had all the needed facilities including extra towels. Bed really comfortable. Good location and near the station. Problem with ants in the kitchen, covered food was left for less than 2 hours on the countertop and covered with ants. Wasn’t a major issue but I would have appreciated a sign or message to warn about this.

• Jahi (9/5): Spacious Studio apartment with a neat garden. - Neat property tucked away in a safe place. I was surprised at the size of this studio and it had a garden too with garden sofas etc. I thought everything was very well thought out. There was no washing machine. This was disappointing.

Very clean Comfortable. Minutes away from transport throughout the city and minutes away from many other things at Kjngs Cross . Will definitely stay again.
