Ferber (10/5): This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Retro Shack! We absolutely love it and will be back! - Loved the groovy vibe, location is great, beds are comfortable, everything was clean and inviting. It’s dog friendly!!! Which is the real winner, the fences and gates are sturdy so we felt comfortable having our dogs in the yard! We felt like we could totally relax too which doesn’t happen at all stays.

Belinda (10/5): Fantastic getaway weekend. Did not disappoint! - It’s unique and quirky style, nostalgia at an all time high, and the kids really loved being jumped back in time with the retro feel. It is also dog friendly and fantastic yard. Also only a hop skip and a jump to the beach, cafes and restaurants. Couldn’t fault it!
Douggy0503 (10/5): Excellent accommodation in a time warp with modern amenities. - Wonderful funky retro feel to this beach shack, 1950's & 60's vibe, lot's of memorabilia from those days to check out. While the house is furnished in 1950's style everything is very comfortable, serviceable and clean, All the modern amenties are there including very large screen TV's in lounge and main bedroom with wifi and streaming services. great for pets as well, our dog Luna loved the doggy door and the beautiful backyard. So close to a great beach with easy access and specific off lead dog areas. Plenty of great food choices locally as well as a supermarket if you wish to do your own cooking. This place was right up our alley for a quirky place to stay by the beach. The only thing I would want on a return visit is better quality tea towels in the kitchen but this is being picky.
