Guest Reviews
- Ercolani (10/5): -
- Edna (10/5): Stay was great and would definately book again! - Property is situated in a good location! Everything you may need is within walking distance. Food, grocery store, shopping centers, restaurants etc.
Space was big, kitchen had plenty of dishes to use. Bathroom was stocked with basic toiletries. Beds were very comfortable and clean. There is no elevator, something to keep in mind in case of needing one.
- Floor (9/5): Fijne centrale plek in een zeer levendige straat. - Prachtige ruime accommodatie. Alle benodigdheden zijn aanwezig. Zeer centraal gelegen. Heerlijke bedden.
- Ali (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay as a family of 2 adults and 2 children. The apartment was exceptionally clean and much more spacious than we expected, providing plenty of room for all of us. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Trastevere, close to everything but still offering a comfortable atmosphere. The hosts, Ekaterina and Flavia, were very helpful and professional. We highly recommend this place for families!
- Zwiers (8/5): - The location and guides for the local area The floors were uncomfortable
- Mar (10/5): Maravillosa - Es espacioso, limpio, hermoso
- Blauth (9/5): Foi ótima! Voltaria! - Localização Muitas Escadas
- Diego (10/5): Voltaria com certeza! - Tudi perfeito. O aparatamento é lindo, espaçoso e confortável. A localização é ótima!! Nada a reclamar
- Gianluca (9/5): - Consiglio vivamente l'appartamento.
- Marcela Liliana (10/5): Excelente ubicacion.
No dia seguinte era o meu check out e eu nao vi a informação dessa mensagem com as orientações do check out.

- John (10/5): From Rome with love - Tout.
- Jason (8/5): If you don't mind stairs this is an ideal place to base yourself to explore Rome - The location was excellent. Kitchen was rather limited
- Pamela (10/5): Exceptional - Communication was great from the get go! The place had everything thats needed plus more, all the little extra bits like coffee etc. Best bit was the location! Overall perfect stay 👌🏼..thank you so much!
- Allison (10/5): Exceptional -
- Spyros (5/5): In general was ok - Spacious rooms and nice area Noisy sleep because of the bars around and no sound proof doors to the street . Back balcony not safe
- Chris (9/5): Great bella place in Trastevere! - Great place to stay on the outer edge of historic Trastevere (which is a benefit as it is probably quieter that way)! Very stylishly designed and nicely appointed. Excellent and top-quality coffee and tea provided for breakfast and relaxation. Easy taxi access right in front of your door. Minor point, but kitchen was not well stocked enough to make your own meals at home.
- Agustina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ebru (7/5): Good - Overall, we were quite satisfied with our 4-night stay in April 2025. The location was fantastic. It was also great to have a washing machine, fridge, and iron in the apartment. The only downside was the persistent smell of cigarette smoke in the room, which lingered despite our efforts to air it out.
- Phillip (9/5): Perfect location and amenities. - TrastevereHome was in a great location, convenient to great food and shopping in walking distance or quick taxi/bus/train into historical Rome. The apartment was well appointed and the Moka pot turned me onto a new option for caffe. We drove into Rome and parking was a bit difficult but the property offered directions to a garage nearby was a great option. Also, we were travelling with an older set of family and the stairs were a bit much for them, so manage accordingly.
- Arcan (10/5): Like a family home - we like the confort of the house, check in was very easy,
cominication was very polite and warm.
- Robert (8/5): Very good - Good location in a great area. Very good for public transport links. Excellent for restaurants and lively night life. Very spacious. Noisy in evenings. Some aspects eg. bathroom, kitchen electrics, windows need updating.
- Aaron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Klaudia (8/5): Very nice place if a big noise is not a problem for you - + very good location
+ spacious rooms (we rented it for 3 people, but 6 will stil fit in well)
+ good contact with owners
+ availability of all type of kitchen equiptment including tea/coffee and mokka - terrible noise from the street; it was difficult to sleep even with closed windows (and we are not people who usually complains about it)
- tiny shower without a shower head that could be hold in hand
- rather poor wifi signal
- scale in the kettle
- Violeta (9/5): Perfect for our family stay in Rome. - Perfect location and so much room for our family with all the amenities we needed. A little noisy from the bar downstairs but we were so tired from our daily activities it didn’t really bother us.
- Eleftherios (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent Nothing
- Nick (9/5): Superb -
- Claudio (8/5): Decent apartment in good location - The apartment was stylish in an old building. It was in a good location. The AC worked well. We used the washing machine and there was a drying rack provided. The kitchen was small but ok to eat a cornetti from the local bar for breakfast in. The hosts left information about the area etc. Hosts were good at sending info and checking in. The apartment had no balcony to sit on. There was no elevator in the building. A little more rustic than the photos but we know that old Italian apartments are like this. The shower was a little cramped for our 6.4 boys.
- Carly (10/5): Great stay in Trastevere - Excellent location! Hosts were extremely helpful and quick to respond! Rooms were large with comfortable beds and air conditioning. Nothing
- Magda (9/5): Pleasant and comfortable stay. - Air conditioning in all the rooms so the apartment was always a cool temperature.
So much space , rooms were huge.
Location was excellent. Shower was very small
- Rocheteau (9/5): Super Location to feel like locals! - The location was perfect...Basically, you can walk to all the major monuments (20-25 min max) by walking along the Tiber river. The apartment is vast and clean. There are plenty of shops and restaurants on the streets. We had no issue parking and we were able to pay for it via an app. The owners were super reactive to our questions. Just one thing that doesn't change my satisfaction...but the master bedroom mattress needs to be changed. I know it is a foam one, but it was too "foamy" for me...
- Kevin (7/5): Great location - Great location. Helpful hosts. It’s a long and complicated system when you first arrive to access the apartment and get the keys. There is a problem with the electricity in the kitchen, we couldn’t use any plugs without the safety switch turning off the whole electric system to the apartment so we had to boil the kettle in the bedrooms.
- Nicholas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leo (10/5): Very nice clean, spacious apartment in cozy Trastavere location. - Very responsive and friendly "hosts". They always answered questions in a timely manner, and were flexible with arrangements. There was nothing that we did not like. The apartment is situated above a couple restaurants, So on Friday and Saturday nights you can certainly hear people enjoying their meals and drinks, but this generally quiets down about midnight and closing the windows certainly helps a lot. It certainly did not keep us from getting a good night's sleep.
- Jonathan (9/5): Fab 3 night stay 3 adults one teen April 2024 - Very clean, super comfy beds and very spacious in a great location. Nicely decorated throughout. We messaged the host on arrival who buzzed us into the building and also the apartment and the keys were on the table. Very well appointed kitchen with coffee machine and pods as well as stove top espresso pot and coffee provided. Host communicated very well. Air conditioning throughout. Lovely double doors opening out onto the street from both bedrooms. Fantastic sofa bed which had been made up in advance which our 15 year old made use of. Easy access to restaurants and bars and in a quieter area of Trastevere which is better for sleeping! Worth knowing but nothing that detracted from our stay - Quite a lot of steps up to the apartment at around 54 but definitely manageable. Bathroom door would benefit from greater privacy as it has a large frosted pane of glass and faces directly towards the shower. A curtain on the inside would do the job as the bathroom is on the main thoroughfare between the living room and kitchen. Also no lock on the door. Expect some noise til late from the bars and cafes on the street below (to be expected in Rome) but having these on your doorstep is also a big benefit. Struggled to locate a plug point in the kitchen for all the supplied appliances. Finally found a single extension socket coming up from behind the fridge. Would be good to make this more obvious. Information that the city tax wasn't included in the room rate only apparent shortly before arrival and payable by cash on checking out. This came to 72 Euro for the 4 of us for the 3 nights and you need to factor this into your budget.
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniela (8/5): Very well located - The apartment was great and very spacious, with a good kitchen and a laundry machine. The location was great. The beds weren’t so good and the
Building didn’t have elevator. We had to carry the lugage upstairs. And the apartment was on the 3rd floor.
- Melissa (10/5): This property was perfect for our family of four to rest and relax at the end of busy tourist days. - The hosts stayed in touch from the time of booking to our arrival. They gave clear instructions for accessing the apartment on arrival. The accommodation was welcoming, clean and spacious. The kitchen was well appointed. We were grateful for the washing machine and line driers by the time we got to Rome! This is a great location, we loved being woken up by the church bells each morning. There is plenty of hustle and bustle in Trastevere, and we enjoyed being part of it. The hosts were wonderful, they helped above and beyond the role of apartment hosts with local support for an urgent matter. We found the area was easily accessible by bus, we got 72 hour bus passes which made it easy to get to all the attractions. This accommodation was perfect for our family of four, with large rooms and space to relax. There really wasn't anything not to like about this apartment. The hosts provided a simple and clear binder of useful information and tips to get us started with food and supplies for our stay.
- Kane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gunnar (8/5): Very good - We liked the size of the rooms, and the looks of the apartment too. The location was really nice with many places to eat close by.. Too bad there wasn't a dishwasher there, especially since the hot water wasn't so hot all the time. We were warned on beforehand by the stairs (3rd floor), but that went OK. We're in god shape!
- Lesley (8/5): Great local atmosphere could be a bit noisy - Fantastic location - close enough to tourist areas but full of locals so had a great feel Bars were open til very late so a bit noisy with windows open trying to sleep
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicole (9/5): Superb - Location Very confusing entrance. Took too long to enter. Keys were inside.only way we got in was with a guess trying to help us. We were outside for over an hour with our bags in the heat.
- Nicholas (9/5): Superb - Amazing location, great neighborhood! Overall amazing place to stay in Trastevere with close proximity to restaurants/night life.
- Wai-sun (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kara (9/5): Spacious, fresh but a little noisy - The property is so spacious, very large bedrooms & living area. Good location with plenty of restaurants & amenities very close. Beds were very comfortable & we liked that there were plenty of pillow, made finding the right pillow easy. Loved the bright wallpaper in each room. Unfortunately it was too noisy for us. We generally don’t mind some noise as that’s the price you pay for being in the mix of things the but restaurants & bars directly below went until early hours & then clean up & smashing of bottles started early in the morning. We didn’t seem to get a break.
The only other slight negative would be the shower head, water seemed to squirt everywhere.
- Itael (9/5): Superb - Large apartment in the heart of a great neighborhood. Kitchen was well equipped. Being really picky but the shower was a little small
- Diana (8/5): Great apartment in a cute neighborhood of Rome. - Very spacious apartment! More than enough room for a family of four. The only bad thing about this apartment is that we had to carry our luggage up three flights of stairs.
- Zinab (9/5): Definitely recommended - The apartment is spacious and in a very good location it has everything you’d need a nice small kitchen with all the necessities and two spacious bedroom and one sofa bed in one of the rooms (not for two people) with a cute view of the street with lots of shops and bars and there’s a supermarket just down the corner
The entrance to the apartment is also very cute and Italian style a bit old with huge door and lots of stairs
So you could really have easy access to anything you’d need
Location was great, you definitely need to walk a lot in Italy but it’s like 25 minutes to get to the famous monuments however there’s a lot to see along the way It was a bit noisy because of the bars downstairs
And they keep throwing glass bottles and talking with music
- Monaesh (9/5): Grea location and nice place - Nicely designed
- Inga (8/5): Pleasant and well organized, the host was superb, excellent communication, very clean and comfy - Very stylish, well organized and spacious The bathroom needs a bit of additional attention and better bathroom fixtures
- Deanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christine (8/5): Very good - The location was great, very close to a number of bars, restaurants and cafes. We didn’t mind too much, but there are 54 stairs to get to the apartment (no elevator). Just something to keep in mind if you have kids, mobility issues, etc. also, the proximity to the bars and restaurants is good but there is some noise at night until they close (some are right downstairs). We found putting the AC on and wearing earplugs was enough it didn’t bother us.
- Daisy (10/5): Perfect centrally located, spacious quirky apartment - The location is fantastic, you’re right in the heart of Trastevere. Super spacious apartment, with comfortable beds, lovely pillows and bedding. Everything you need for a few nights in Rome. Loved the style of the apartment, with amazing floors and wallpaper. Super quirky! Ekaterina was a delight, super helpful and responsive. The noise from the bars on the street is quite disruptive at night, however, that is expected in Rome city centre, so I wouldn’t necessarily say that as a bad thing. The buildings are old and of course can’t have double glazing. Just bring earplugs and be prepared for it- it’s not a quiet street in a vineyard.
There is no lift but this is explained in the description so make sure you know this if you have anybody disabled with you.
- Margaret (9/5): Great apartment - The apartment is in a great location for accessing the sights of Rome. Bedrooms are big and the beds very comfortable. The shower was slow to drain, and the toilet flush was a bit tricky at times.
The street outside was noisy at night. This didn't bother us but might be a problem for some people.
- Francesco (6/5): Pleasant - location oven did not work
- Bogdan (9/5): Superb -
- Theresa (9/5): Large apartment in amazing neighbourhood of Rome. Perfect for a long weekend! - If you want to stay in a great going out neighbour hood in Rome that is easy to get to by train (30 min) - this is the place for you.
Loads of great bars and restaurants around the corner and some of the main sights can be reached in about 30 min on foot.
The place itself was big with comfortable beds and well working wifi and all the amenities you could need for a stay in the city. Be prepared to be woken up by the glass containers being emptied in front of your apartment every day. It's not the most pleasant sound at 7.30 or 8 in the morning on holiday.
- Natasha (9/5): great apartment in a great spot - really cool apartment in a very convenient and trendy area of Rome. great amenities and comfortable beds. unfortunately really noisy at night due to the bars around the apartment, on weekends until around 4am and until around 2am on weeknights
- Secilcanbay (8/5): Very good -
- Arvia (9/5): love Rome hope to come back. - the location was great, we loved the building. it took some getting used to the noise at night. if you want a quiet evening this is not a good location. with a flexible attitude I was able to enjoy the sounds of cafe life entering the room and did not mind being kept up too much. if I were staying in Rome longer I would have joined in.
- Norbert (10/5): Exceptional - Airy, very nice place, with great view to the lovely street. Host was super nice and helpful. Nothing
- Kirsty (8/5): Very good -
- John (9/5): Superb - Neat. Tidy. Air.conditioning with lots of space. Location. There is care and pride put into the property. Easy and quick correspondence with the owner. urban living means the odd late night noise from revellers and collections trucks on the streets.
- Helen (8/5): Very good - lots of space, clean, comfortable, great location bathroom could do with some TLC
