• João (5/5): Nice and tasteful flat, bad overall experience. - The flat is nice, tastefully decorated, and very well equipped. The street is a bit busy, and there is some noise coming in from a bar on the street. You have to make a separate guarantee of 1000EUR in a specific website (Swikly). This is specified through automated messaging, which sends messages in copious amounts. Setting up the guarantee is maybe ok, but the whole procedure left me uncomfortable, and I wouldn't ever made the reservation here if I was aware of the need for this guarantee. On the eve of the checkout date, you receive yet another automated message saying that you MUST checkout no longer than 10AM, or that they will bill you for another day. The 10AM checkout time is definitely harsh, and I wouldn't have made a reservation if I had noticed it. But the worse part is that this tone is really not nice, and suggests that they cater to seedy people, although the flat is nice and upscale. They should make up their mind which clientele they'd like to have. I for one don't like being addressed like this. And the cherry on the cake is this: when I was checking in at 16:45, the flat was not ready, and still being cleaned. And yet they demand that you must leave at 10:00 or they will bill you another day. So they demand from their clients what they themselves can't or won't provide. Not likely that I will return.
• Pawel (6/5): nice place but too many negative issues to make my trip unpleasant - new and modern apartment. very small sink. no internet. we tried to get on line for the entire stay but didn’t get any help from owners. in general the communication with the owners was very limited. we reported a broken kitchen vent. no soap in a bathroom. no paper towel in the kitchen and there was no response to that. there was no electricity one day and we couldn’t connect with the manager. we found a maintenance guy by ourselves. lack of internet was disappointing as I was hoping to connect with my businesses via teams and couldn’t. sometimes that’s not obvious is the security deposit. they block 1000 euro without even checking with you if everything is ok in the apartment
• Lionel (1/5): Bad - Nothing The owner tried to get me to default thereby losing 75% of the amount already paid.I had to shout at him on the phone to extract the address etc. Noisy pub downstairs. No wifi at all therefore no TV.He kept lying about getting it fixed.Never had wifi for the 4 booked days.He will charge if you use a little bit of electricity. The 1000 euro bond is a huge risk of him keeping it for any sort of imagined damage. Not recommended if you want to be free of stress
• Christos (8/5): Very good - Clarification document from the hosts on the procedure and facilities and that is opposite a convenient Proxy market store and not far from trams and a walking distance from Louise metro. I found the deposit too large, but the procedure to release it was straight forward, and the amount was probably large because there are a lot of new machinery in the appartement. Maybe, there could be more secure appartement door; but there is a rather secure building door anyway. Stairs were manageable with care, even with my rather heavy luggage.
