• Ronda (9/5): Old school charm and beautiful dark woods throughout. No elevator and self serve check in/out but the system works w - Very romantic rooms. TV was playing soft music as I entered the room. 4 poster bed, large bathroom. Large crack across the entire window. Charging for early check in is getting to be a bit much.

• Sandra (10/5): Quiet, cozy, warm and friendly stay. - We loved our stay at Tait House. Room was clean and attention paid to many nice details. (fireplace on, lots of towels, in-room Keurig machine). We ate in the restaurant (dinner) and then breakfast in the café. Both excellent! We loved our stay and will return.

Chambre au deuxième étage pas évident pour les bagages.Climatiseur bruyant ce qui a rendu notre séjour vraiment désagréable.Nous avons peu dormi malgré les bouchons qui étaient fournis.Mr Thierry avisé mais peu de résultats suite à la discussion.Nous sommes partis plus fatigués qu’à notre arrivée.Mr Thierry nous a rien offert lors de notre rencontre sauf au départ ce qui était trop tard.

• Sheila (10/5): I would recommend the Tait House to anyone staying on the east coast - I rented the room for my son and his partner for their honeymoon. They had nothing but positive things to say about the hotel

• Suzan (10/5): Very comfortable, nicely decorated, very of world feel, very large soaking tub. - It had a 19th century feel but nicely restored. If you have luggage you will need to carry it upstairs yourself. There is not a refrigerator in the room and no access to ice.
• Michele (10/5): Elegant, Comfortable, Victorian - This is a beautiful old mansion turned very tastefully into a hotel. The interior features of the home are grand and beautifully complemented by tastefully chosen modern pieces. The feeling is gracious, yet not stuffy. Could only stay one night.

• Madlberger (9/5): Haus mit Vergangenheit - Haus mit Geschichte und historischem Ambiente! Wir hatten ein Himmelbett und sehr gut geschlafen. Überall gibt's was zu entdecken! Unsere Freunde mussten Zimmer wechseln, da sich sehr laute Geräusche, vermutlich durch die Klimaanlage eines anderen Zimmers übertragen hatten. Das Personal war aber sehr verständnisvoll und hilfsbereit.

On second nights stay the restaurant was closed as hotel was hosting a private function outdoors. The hotel parking lot was completely filled the second afternoon. We had to ask reception for help and an employee eventually moved their car.

• Simona (9/5): - Charmantes Haus in zentraler Lage der Stadt, schön und liebevoll ausgestattete Zimmer mit einem elektrischen Kamin. Zugang durchs Restaurant, umständliche Zugangsmodalitäten. Da normalerweise kein Personal vor Ort ist. Wir hatten Glück, dass das Restaurant offen war. Wir sollten eigentlich bis 15.00 Uhr einen Zugangscode erhalten, der leider nie angekommen ist.

We didn’t take advantage of the restaurant, but it smelt wonderful and the ambiance was very welcoming. It would have been helpful to have a little chair or vanity in the bathroom.

• Rita (9/5): Alojamento bonito na terra da lagosta. - A localização é razoável. O hotel é de check-in automático e fica no primeiro andar de um bom restaurante. Havia um evento no restaurante e não nos serviram pequeno-almoço. Não termos pequeno-almoço e a lagosta estar esgotada ao jantar. Ter pago 20 CAD só para poder aceder à Parlee Beach para tirar uma foto.

La maison est superbe, tranquille, beau décor et très bien située. Le restaurant excellent pour le souper. Le personnel extrêmement gentil et serviable, ils font des détours pour aider. Vraiment très bien, mais... Le matelas du lit était beaucoup trop mou pour moi, j'ai eu mal toute la nuit. Dommage car j'y retournerais avec plaisir et enthousiasme sans cet inconvénient majeur pour moi.
