Guest Reviews

- Valentina Dimova (3/5): Full of potential, lacking in execution - Big living room. For starters, at check-in we had to wait an insane amount of time. We negotiated it with the hostess, she knew days in advance at what time we would arrive. We were delayed with like 30 minutes because our train got delayed and I let her know immediately. She then said she's gonna send me a code for a keybox so we can let ourselves in.
We arrive at the destination. I try to contact her, nobody answers. We are 6 people in a scorching 40-degree July afternoon waiting outside of an unknown building. After half an hour or maybe a bit more and numerous calls and texts we finally get an answer from our hostess. She sends us the code to the keybox. Fully hopeful we try to open it, it was also completely smudged in chewing gum... and surprise surprise. There is NO KEY inside.
I text and call her again. She starts apologising and saying they will be there shortly to open up for us. It is all fine. Almost 30 minutes later two ladies arrive, speaking only Italian telling us something in the lines of how they need 20 minutes upstairs because of something I couldn't really understand. I text our hostess again. She confirms those are in fact the cleaning ladies and that they will make sure we find everything to our expectations up in the apartment. AN HOUR LATER the ladies are ready with the cleaning and at around 17:30, instead of 15:30 we are finally let in the apartment.
The nightmares could have ended. But no.
We are left to make the sofa bed by ourselves. Only 5 sets of towels, although we are six people. Everything running on gas. Microwave not functioning. Having to turn off the TV to turn on the coffee machine. The TV being prehistorical, allowing no options to connect to a smartphone, and also so small for such a big room. We expected the beds in the living room to be sofa beds but it turned out one of the beds in one of the bedrooms is also a folding bed. It's tragic.
- Olesia (6/5): Cheap flat in the industrial area - Do not expect too much for this price. The only real advantage is its size — it's quite spacious and can comfortably accommodate a large group.
However, we encountered several issues during our stay. Upon arrival, we were surprised to be charged €5 city tax per person per night, instead of the €3 stated on Booking.com. The flat is located in an industrial neighborhood with nothing nearby, and I would not recommend walking around the area at night. That said, it is about a 20-minute walk from the railway station.
On our last day, we returned to find that there was no running water at all. Unfortunately, the owner did not respond to our messages about this problem. Additionally, the beds and pillows were of very poor quality, so be prepared for potential back and neck pain after a night’s sleep.
If you do decide to stay here, manage your expectations and try to limit your stay to 1-2 nights at most.
