- Lugie-simon (5/5): Not the place we thought - The host was fantastic The housing estate it was in.
The cleaner needs cleaning lessons
- Erdal (6/5): Pleasant - I liked the location. We could not get enough support for check in. We could not get help via Booking messages or phone number. We were able to check in by reaching the operating company by chance.
- Mckane (6/5): Pleasant -
- Arleen (7/5): Convenient and neat. - The flat was very neat and exactly as it appeared in the photos. The free parking was a huge plus for my stay as well. We were really disappointed with the ‘shower head’ above the bathtub that didn’t have any connection to the water tap at all. It was purely cosmetic and unusable. So, you are forced to use the bathtub which didn’t seem so clean when we arrived- with very slow draining water, as well. The kitchen sink also seemed to need a more thorough cleaning.
- Tim (3/5): Not a stylish apartment as advertised. Very disappointing and very basic Would not recommend this property considering t - Netflix and ok bed
Reasonable kitchen appliances. No welcome
No communication for access/entry. When we finally did get in after 2 hours we were greeted with 3 smelly skip bins and discarded furniture outside the entry
The foyer was littered with food scraps and undelivered mail.
In the bathroom the shower didn’t work!! only the bath, no soap no shampoo/conditioner supplied and only half a roll of toilet paper for two nights. Overall the bathroom needed a good scrub.
In the kitchen there was no dishwashing cloth or tea towel.
No instructions for wifi password
No compendium/instructions at all.
- Aine (9/5): Superb - Spacious, warm apartment with comfortable bed and modern living area.
- Suzanne (7/5): Good -
- Ishmael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bianca (7/5): Good -
- Christopher (2/5): Very poor - The location was convenient for the business trip. The flat was on the ground floor and very dark. The bath room was far away from acceptable and so was the kitchen equipment. The price was too high for the apartment.
- Munir (10/5): Very convenient foe our cause for a last min booking - Very comfortable and cosy. Location was perfect for our stay. Price also reasonable Initially it was challenge to find the property but after that it was all at ease
- Elia (10/5): Really nice apartment! - Me and my girlfriend had a great stay, we were looking for something in a quiet area with a short commute to the centre which was great, oh and we loved the decor very tasteful!
Bradley was quick to respond when we asked how to turn the TV on, it was also a bonus that we could watch Netflix
- Charlie (10/5): Exceptional - Check-in was simple and fast, would definitely book again! The bed was comfortable and everything was clean.
- Kok (2/5): Dissatisfied and disappointed!! - The only good thing about this place is the free parking and the management Matt/Bradley were responsible and understanding when we raised the many issues of the flat. Still,I think it is not acceptable to rent out a place with no hot water. First thing we arrived at the property there was a damp smell from the bathroom and a stink/bad stench from the storage room. There was also food/burnt residue in the oven. Fridge wasn’t very clean either. Worst of all, there wasn’t any hot water and we couldn’t shower at all till the late last evening of our stay. (No hairdryer either) The property should have been thoroughly checked before renting it out. Hot water for shower should be the basic necessity provided. The neighbourhood wasn’t very pleasant either as we could hear loud music banging 2-4 am in the morning. My family didn’t have good sleep at all. Seriously, for the amount of money we paid, it is really unacceptable and not worth it…. Could have gone to a Travelodge and have a better stay. The flat is in Isle of Dog and not actually a Canary Wharf “apartment “ as advertised so don’t be deceived. It’s not in a nice neighbourhood and to take the DLR at Mudchute you have to walk about 15 minutes. Just imagine coming back in the night. Overall, this place has ruined our stay in London. We were there for a performance and music theatre and just imagine how terrible our experience was, couldn’t have a shower before going to the event. Matt/Bradley were nice and answered our call and I thanked them for trying but personally I think they should have booked us another place or at least refund all our money so we could go somewhere else. We paid nearly £400 for 3 miserable nights!!!
- Onyeka (10/5): Good place - Peaceful environment Everything was fine,I suggest you get a small fan for days when the weather is really hot
- Laura (7/5): Good - Ideal location and size for what we needed. The communication with the hosts was great, we requested a clothes rack to dry our washing on and it was dropped off the next day. There was a £500 deposit required that was not mentioned anywhere in the Booking advertisement of the property. I paid for the accommodation in full and once the booking had been confirmed I was asked to provide card details to hold £500 as a deposit for the length of our stay. Once we had checked out and been advised the deposit would be released in just a few moments it then took 8 working days for the hold to be removed from the bank card.
In future you should make it known to the guests about the deposit requirements, £500 is a kot of money to not be able to access for up to 10 working days after check out.
