• Lekeisha (3/5): The stay was not great due to lots of issues, thankfully the building manager was very helpful but could not sort all of - The property had character which was nice and the building manager was lovely The table was broken in half, the chairs were unstable and missing half the screws, we did not receive a full set of cutlery ( not a single fork) we did not receive baking or oven trays, there were no saucepans, the bedsheets had stains, the fire extinguisher had no pin-service sticker- or expiry date, the hair dryer did not work and was not safe, the extractor only had one light working, the his had a hole in it where a light was missing, there was no tea towel or anything to dry the washing up, communication with the host was not good as he tried to push the issues onto someone else who did not have anything to do with them
• Joana (2/5): Good location, but the room conditions were terrible - Its location is excellent because it is close to metro stations and to an area with bars, cafés, restaurants, food shops, and more. As soon as you walk in, you immediately notice a certain lack of cleanliness. The entrance door feels very unsafe. You can hear ALL the noises and conversations from the other rooms. To wash the dishes, they only left us a dirty sponge and a small amount of dish soap. They didn’t provide any toilet paper; luckily, we had tissues in our suitcase the first night. There were only two towels for the shower. The table and chairs were so worn out that every time we sat down to eat, we thought they would break. Upstairs there are only two power outlets, and one of them doesn’t work. There were lots of insects all over the floor and the kitchen surfaces. In the end, we were so disgusted by the idea of cooking there that we decided to eat all our meals out. And finally, what we found most serious: there was no hot water in the shower! The little hot water there was only lasted between 30 and 60 seconds; after that, it turned cold. My partner and I had to take turns showering (one in the morning and the other at night), and I washed my hair with cold water while keeping the rest of my body outside the shower. A complete disaster…

• Asia (9/5): Great small space, super handy for London City exploring - Beautiful area, great layout to utilise the small space. Not that we didn't like it as we managed to get it under control, but it was quite warm up in bed. We opened the window and used the fan to regulate the temperature. The neighbourhood was quiet so it was nice to be able to do this.

• Nuno (1/5): Nefasta no recomiendo a nadie - Nada Sin presión el agua de la ducha, no teníamos agua caliente, el horno las rejillas no encajaban por lo cual no puedes cocinar ni hacerte una simple pizza, la cafetera no funciona, tiene de vajilla 2 platos, 2 vasos,1 tenedor así que para q coman 2 personas no pueden, la mesa está rota, las sillas si te sentabas se caían los tornillos y no te podías sentar, si te subías a la cama se veía el mueble de la cocina lleno de polvo por arriba, un polvo acumulado de hace unos meses vaya de no limpiarse, el internet muy mal te dan dos opciones de wifi y ninguna funciona correctamente, cucarachas en el baño asqueroso vaya, una cama sobre un palet, la puerta del cuarto de baño no cierra, el secador no funciona, el dueño del alojamiento no responde ni nos dio solución al problema del agua, booking nos dice que no pueden solucionar nada, se escuchan ruidos de los demás apartamentos, el baño olía muy mal, no funcionaba la televisión ni está colocada en un sitio q se pueda ver, papel higiénico teníamos 1 rollo para 6 días, el inodoro tenía manchas amarilla de no limpiarlo, te ponen un microondas en el cual no entra ni los vasos q te dejan allí, en la puerta de la ducha estaba rota se salía el agua y encima mi pareja se hizo un corte en el brazo, suelo pegajoso desde el primer día q entramos.

• kylie (4/5): Perfect for one night stay! - The property was in a fantastic location, had everything you needed. Just a little more attention to some bits and it would be much better. The bathroom was dirty I gave it a wipe over to see if the dirt came off and it did so just needs a good scrub. Only 1 pillow each and bed was hard. Tv was placed where you can’t watch it unless you’re sat on the end of the bed. The oven racks didn’t fit in the oven either.

• Morlan (7/5): Pese a sus defectos, lo recomendaría por que está en un barrio muy bonito y seguro, está súper bien ubicado y el persona - El alojamiento está muy cerca de estaciones de varios medios de trasporte por lo que está muy bien ubicado, también tiene baño propio que es punto positivo y la cama es cómoda El baño es muy pequeño, aunque eso no es el problema, el problema es que la ducha no tiene fuerza y sale un chorro pequeño, lo justo para lavarte el cuerpo, se escuchan los ruidos de otros apartamentos y sale alguna que otra cucaracha pequeña por el baño.

Primeira vez que vejo um absurdo desses! Fomos apenas parar a noite e saímos para comprar comida e precisamos sair novamente pra buscar um item de higiene mínimo e indispensável! Ao contatar a hospedagem disseram que entrariam em contato com o administrator e jamais retornaram. Tinha barata no banheiro e o aquecedor principal não está funcionando. O aquecedor móvel demorou uma eternidade para esquentar. NÃO RECOMENDO PARA NINGUÉM! Se perdesse daria uma nota negativa de tão ruim. Minha impressão é de que não houvesse limpeza entre os hóspedes. Que lugar horroroso!

• Konstantina (2/5): Δεν μας αρεσε. - Η τοποθεσια. Ηταν κοντα σε σταθμο λεωφορειου και σε μετρο. Ευκολα προσβασιμο απο οπου και να γυρισεις. Λοιπον ηταν βρωμικο, βρηκαμε γυναικειες τριχες σε μπολικες γωνιες. Το νερο ηταν μονο κρυο την 1η μερα χωρις καθολου πιεση. Παλι καλα ηρθε ενας κι το εφτιαξε μετα απο επικοινωνια με τον οικοδεσποτη που και παλι δεν ηταν πολυ ζεστο και με μικρη πιεση. Εχει το βραδυ κατσαριδακια που βγαινουν απ το μπανιο.

• Juan (4/5): - La ubicación es lo único reseñable La limpieza deja mucho que desear. Todo muy antiguo y en condiciones regulares. La cafetera no funcionaba, perdía agua la ducha, me encontré varios insectos (dos cucarachas y una araña) la televisión no se ve ni desde la cama ni desde la parte baja donde se encuentra la cocina/comedor/entrada... Por lo que cuesta alquilar la noche ya podrían mejorarlo un poco.

• Maria agustina (9/5): Suficiente - El departamento es pequeño, bastante, eso es verdad. Pero la realidad es que uno prácticamente no está. Solo duerme y se baña. Para todo eso es más que suficiente en relación al precio y la ubicación. El barrio es re lindo, cerca de todo. Tiene muchas facilidades para cocinar. Es más que completo para el precio que tiene en Londres. Estaba limpio también. Si es verdad que había algunos bichos, pero no por suciedad, entiendo que tiene que ver con las cañerías y lo viejo de esos edificios. También algo de ruido de puertas al rededor, pero nada grave para pasar unos días en Londres cómodos, bien ubicados, con comodidades y a un excelente precio. Nada!

• Joanna (8/5): Nice and budget friendly place to stay in London. I’d come back. - It was clean and didn’t look old, one of best budget friendly places we stayed in London. Location was good, very close to the shops and metro station. Bathroom was really small, my partner is quite big man and he struggled a bit in the shower so if you’re tall and wide - keep that in mind. Also bed is upstairs and the stairs are quite stresfull because how steep these are. Not ideal for very tall people or more mature/old people.

• Thom (7/5): Would 100% stay again because it is a great little apartment, but please sort the bugs in the bathroom. - This property is a great location and is a great idea. It’s a cute apartment and offers everything you’d need for your stay and great facilities in the apartment itself. I really did like the apartment. The reviews talking about sticky steps up to the bed clearly just didn’t realise it was the paint and not that it was dirty. You can hear everything from outside the apartment, conversations, doors open by and closing, the fire alarm for the building beeping all night. But that was solved simply enough with a pair of ear plugs. The thing I wasn’t so keen on was a few bugs in the bathroom that I got rid of. This was mentioned in another review too. I get that it happens, but it’s something I hope gets looked at.
• Sarah (7/5): The apartment was just as described, I knew the bathroom would be small but I fitted in it ok, so for a solo traveller i - The apartment was good for what I needed, bed was clean, comfortable but basic which was fine but it was not a hotel standard clean. There was a coffee machine which was good but with no instructions, so I had to google it, and tea bags provided but no kettle, so wasn’t sure how I could make tea. The curtain had bleach stains on it and didn’t close completely which wasn’t ideal. Also there was a strong aroma of cannabis around the door to the apartment and the main building. There was a deadlock on the door, which was good but didn’t seem to fully lock which made me feel The smell of cannabis and the plugs overloading the socket. Not having a kettle so couldn’t make tea easily
• Tom (2/5): Very poor - Location is good, near plenty of attractions and an underground station. Has the option to do basic cooking instead of eating out all the time. Decent mattress. You can hear every noise from above and next door apartments so hope for quiet neighbours. The steps up to the bed were sticky, yuck.. The cheap futon frame the mattress sat on was broken and made very loud noises EVERY TIME i moved. I had to pull the futon frame out from under the mattress and lean it up on the wall so the mattress could sit on the floor for us to sleep well. Upside was a comfy mattress. The temperature control on the shower was over tightened and stuck on scolding hot, it took a fair bit of force to loosen it. Someone weaker could not have done it. Will not be booking here again....
• Maria (3/5): Poor - The location was great and the host was quick to answer if anything was needed. There were tiny cockroach like insects running around the entrance and the bathroom and the bed was a mattress placed on a wooden pallet, which made it extremely noisy if you made any move.

Kettle, toaster, microwave, coffee machine included with a small kitchen Only good for short stay and a small group of people maybe 2 -3 as the place is quite small. Shower was so small. If you're tall you might have a hard time upstairs bed

• Zhibrik (7/5): La Casa Experience - Great location. Good value. Cozy room. Very beautiful hallway. Mostly stocked kitchen. Ability to cook and store food. Fast communication with the owner. The bathroom was not completely clean, and the toilet had yellow spots. We had to clean it before using. However, the sink and shower were clean. Kitchen: mostly clean. The cups for some reason were dirty. The kitchen lacked a cutting board and a knife.

• Kylie (4/5): You get what you pay for - I like how conveniently located it was. And a bit quirky Sheets were clean. But there was an ominous reddish brown stain on the mattress. Corridor was noisy. Another guest was rattling our door in the early hours. Would have appreciated a bit more security.

Would suit backpackers or young person/couple. Ladder to upstairs bed potentially dangerous? Hot water in shower poor temperature control, potentially could burn or scald someone?
• Lisbeth (10/5): Exceptional - Good communication with host, yet we never met our host. Easy access to premises. Clean, comfy & compact apartment. We were pleasantly surprised to be greeted with 2 kitkats, shampoo, shower gel & moisturisers. Great location, quiet & good area. No parking but not needed due to the good public transport available. It's definitely a must to stay here if you are coming to London for the weekend. Nothing to complain about, just a heads up... a little hot during the night as it's a loft bed with no direct air circulation, only one window downstairs.
• Andrea (8/5): Compact studio close to Kensington Gardens - a perfect base for a short trip to London. - The location is perfect, a short walk to either Queensway or Bayswater tube stations, close to shops, cafes and bars but in a quiet area. It is possible to walk to Notting Hill for the Portobello Road Market (15 minutes) or the museums in South Kensington - a little longer but through Kensington Gardens, so a lovely stroll if the weather is good. Leinster gardens is a very elegant location with beautiful victorian terraces, many of which are listed. There is a quirky historic false house front covering the railway line that runs underneath the road - fun to spot the greyed out windows and fake door. The studio is tiny, with the bed on a mezzanine level, but has almost everything that you need for a short stay. It was hot when we visited, but while we were exploring the local area, the hosts brought us a fan which was incredibly thoughtful. The kitchen is well equipped, and the whole place, including the tiny bathroom, was squeaky clean. There were more than enough mini bottles of shampoo, shower gel and little soaps for our 2 night stay. Tea bags were provided with milk cartons in the fridge. There were two bottles of water chilling in the fridge when we arrived, - very welcome on a hot day. Washing up liquid was provided, but no cloths or dish towels, and there was no plug or washing up bowl for the kitchen sink. The ladder to the mezzanine is very steep - a bit scary when descending during the night. More tea bags and some coffee would have been nice.

• Susan (8/5): Pretty good but wouldn’t want to stay there for more than one night. - Location. Very convenient. I couldn’t make the tv work. No instructions. The shower tray almost overflowed. There is a sharp metal fixture on the shower door that I scratched my arm on. No bin.
