• Angus (10/5): Brilliant, Beautiful, Highly Recommended - Truly one of the best places I have stayed in the last few years. It was extremely comfortable, it was clean and private, and in a very central location. As a particular bonus for me, the apartment we stayed in had a very well equipped kitchen that let us easily prepare some meals ourselves, which we ate looking out at a very nice view. The kitchen and bathroom also came stocked with more products than I am used to for this kind of property, which was a nice touch. Overall, I highly recommend. The parking is a bit tough; There is a decently sized spot for each apartment, but when I was there some other guests had extremely large cars and interesting definitions of straight, which added some difficulty. The stairs up to the apartments are also quite steep, so if you are travelling with large bags or people with restricted movement that could pose a problem.

Due to the nature of the property, there is some outside noise from the other guests. But very quiet at nighttime. Checkout was 10am, and the team was solid to that. It would have been a pleasant addition to have a little longer.

The kitchen and rooms were spotless, and having a washing machine was such a bonus. I really appreciated the detailed information book about the wool store and local recommendations, and the vouchers were a great touch to help save some money. Everything was so thoughtfully prepared! One of the bedrooms had slightly uneven flooring, which made it feel a bit sloped when sleeping. It might help to rearrange the room so the bed faces the opposite wall, it could make the space feel more balanced and comfortable.

The historic nature of the building and the unique twist on NY themed rooms and rural decor. Clean and modern kitchen area. Nothing really, floors of the bedroom were wonky and slanted, sometimes making hard to walk properly but that comes with the age and style of building.

Suggestion would be some soft lighting permanent in the gardens behind the cars would provide a better sense of security.

The toiletries they provided were stunning, the little makeup removed towel and the cosy bath robes were so beautiful to wear. would definitely stay again.

• Rachel (9/5): Bathurst at its best! - Decor is beautiful and the tea and coffee selection very thoughtful. Location is fantastic and hosts were very friendly easy to communicate with. My daughter slept on the sofa bed and I had the bedroom - plenty of space in the living areas for us to be comfortable. Only negative was that we could hear people moving around upstairs, and they were very early risers!

The dressing gowns were fantatastic, so cosy and warm when it was -3 degrees outside!! I would have liked a little more cutlery and crockery to avoid having to keep washing up before we ate!! A magnifying mirror in the bathroom would have been good, plus a hook to hang the dressing gowns on the bathroom door would have been helpful.

• Carly (10/5): Fantastic stay, clean, welcoming and perfectly located! - The Wool Store was a perfect stay! Conveniently located, steps from main street but set back in a quiet lane. Very new, clean and spacious. Hosts left restraurant recommendations which were delicious. Genereously stocked toiletries and fully equipt kitchen made it easy and we really felt comfortable and at home. We stayed in Soho and had a private courtyard which was a nice bonus. Parking was easy and felt safe. The heat was on for our arrival so it was lovely to walk into on a cool autumn afternoon. If you don't like hearing footsteps, stay on a higher floor. We heard very little noise and was no problem for us, we loved the lofted ceilings as a trade off. But others may consider apartment selection if that bothers them.

• Annie (10/5): I hope I get to enjoy it again. - When you enter, you're greeted with a wonderful wafting of clean, fresh aromatherapy oils. NOT the dreaded perfume sticks that I always have to put outside. The room is laid out perfectly and very comfortably. The amenities are first class, and there are many thoughtful extras. (I'll let you enjoy discovering them for yourselves.) There's a great pub on the corner (very close, but not so close as to be noisy). Around the corner you'll find Crema, a fantastic hole-in-the-wall café that serves delightful treats and excellent coffee. The staff are as fun and friendly as you'd expect from a team of Aussie baristas. Further along is another great breakfast place with friendly and efficient service, Country Coffee. You're walking distance from pretty much everywhere you might need to go. It was the perfect location for me. If you arrive late, you need to walk down a very dark lane. NOT the first dark lane after the pub. The next one! Make sure to have your torch light ready. I found the lock box slightly tricky. Other than that, absolutely NOTHING. ;D
