The only slight downside which is a contradiction of sorts, is that it is a busy pedestrian thoroughfare as you are central old Town, so not the best place for a siesta :).But for us that added to the charm

• Peter (10/5): - Malé,, ale prakticky zariadené a čisté,, inštrukcie jasné cez WhatsApp, poloha v peknej historickej štvrti mesta v tajomných uličkách na úpätí kopca s hradom Santa Barbara na vrchu..Neďaleko k moru a promenáde (samozrejme, treba stúpať/klesať a absolvovať schody).

• Sibylle (7/5): Klein, aber alles da. - Die Lage war top - mitten in der Stadt. Man war schnell am Strand, schnell in der Altstadt, schnell auf der Burg. Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Für einen Kurztrip von 1 - 2 Tagen top. Wegen der guten Lage, war es leider in der Nacht manchmal etwas laut - weniger Straßenlärm, sondern betrunkene Touristen.

• Marcia (10/5): Acomodación excelente para lo que necesitaba, fui sola y pasé la mayor parte del tiempo afuera. Tenía nevera, microondas - La atención dedicada por Alejandra desde el inicio. Muy amable, comunicación fluida y disponibilidad excelente. La localización perfecta . Estaba muy cerca de todo lo que necesitaba. Fácil acesso para playa, aeropuerto, restaurantes, supermercados, etc La obra que están terminando en frente a la casita pero, non me molestó en realidad porque me había ya avisado Alejandra, así que me preparé con antelación.

• Gabriele (9/5): Soddisfatto dalla città e dall'appartamento! - La minuziosità dello staff gia nei giorni antecedenti all'arrivo, fornendo tutte le informazioni e le risposte. L'appartamento è pulito ed è fornito di molti piccoli confort come il frigo, microonde, bicchieri, posate e molte altre cose. La posizione a due passi dalla spiaggia e dal mare, dalla fermata dell'autobus e da tutti i servizi essenziali di salute e ristoro. Nulla da segnalare

• Glasses (9/5): Polecamy. - Właściciel i kontakt z nim. Alejandra była bardzo pomocna i sympatyczna. Apartament był wygodny, dwie łazienki bardzo się przydały. Czystość i wyposażenie sprawiły, że pobyt był bardzo komfortowy. Lokalizacja prawie w centrum starówki (jednak jeśli masz samochód, to może być utrudnienie, bo wjazd pod apartament jest zabroniony). Zasuwa w wejściowych drzwiach, którą inny gość przez nieuwagę zasunął, przez co nie mogłyśmy wejść. Chyba lepiej byłoby ją usunąć, by nikogo nie kusiła😁

• Margriet (8/5): Mooie dagen - Ruim, licht en alles aanwezig, opslag voor de koffers en hele aardige host, doe meedacht in oplossingen. Er waren op maandag en dinsdag werkzaamheden aan de straat, waardoor we om 8.00 uur uit ons bed werden gejekkerd. Het was zo’n kabaal dat we elkaar niet konden verstaan en snel het huis hebben verlaten. Jammer dat we hiervan niet op de hoogte waren.

• Claire (10/5): A wonderful and welcome stay! With all you need.. loved it! - The place was perfect for what I needed and equipped with a microwave, fridge, kettle etc and to self cater. The mattress was really comfortable and a bigger bed than the single I expected.. clean and spacious for a solo traveller. A wonderful hostess who went over and beyond being helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend it to anyone! 😁 Everything was great! No dislikes at all 😁
• elodie (9/5): - J'ai beaucoup apprécié la communication avec Alejandra, très fluide et elle a répondu à chaque fois très rapidement. Elle est très arrangeante.J'ai apprécié aussi l'équipement pour la plage ( serviettes, parasols...), c'était très appréciable. La literie est de bonne qualité. J'ai été un peu déçue en revanche car les photos de l'annonce montrent des chambres qui ne sont pas les chambres de l'appartement. Ce serait une bonne chose de ne présenter que les photos de l'appartement en question et pas celles des 2 autres appartements. Nous avons donc trouvé l'appartement un peu petit par rapport à ce que nous attendions. Il faut savoir qu'il n'y a qu'une petite cuisine avec une table pour 6 mais pas de salon.

The single room is excellent: there is a kettle, microwave, coffee, sugar, shampoo and toothpaste and even an umbrella. Easy to get in and out. The bus to the airport goes number - C 6. All the sights are nearby. The hosts are super.

• Andrew (7/5): Good location, friendly host. - Location was easy to find, I turned up early but the host was already at the property and happy to let me in. We used google translate on phones, minimal information was required as the room is basic. Ensuite was a shower, sink and toilet; towels were provided. The room had a wardrobe, bed, desk and chair, fridge and microwave. Paper plates, a bowl, mug and cutlery were provided. Bottle of drinking water was provided at arrival. Corkscrew was easy to use. I stayed for 4 nights, by myself, and it was good for this purpose. Has a heater and air con but I did not need to use these. Good wifi - password provided. Window blinds were very effective at keeping morning light out. Rubbish bins are not far from property. Cafe's and shops are all within easy walking distance. Property consists of other (larger) apartment units and this room would be a great addition if travelling as a group. The bathroom smells bad - was clean on arrival but by the evening smelled of damp / bad plumbing - I kept the door closed and turned the fan on to clear the odour. Not the accommodation's fault, but the neighbours could be noisy at times.
• Denice (1/5): Horrible! Don't recommend the single room!! - The owner / woman that met up with me was very friendly and helpful. This was the worst accommodation I have ever had in my life!! I guess that the experience with the larger apartments in the house are good or ok, or at least, they look ok on the photographs. I had a single room, and it was ice cold because the heating wasn't working, smelled horribly of mold and sewage and the "Bed" was the worst I have ever slept in. Worse than on a blanket on a floor. it's a lumpy old mattress on top of a wooden "podium", meaning; not a real bed frame. just like a plank. everything was stinking so violently bad: they apparently try to cover up the mold/sewage stench with fragrance sticks (not working), and after just an hour in the room I had a horrible migraine. The single room is cold, small, dark and unwelcoming. and when I told them that the heating wasn't working (it was colder in the room than outside, and nights are COLD in Alicante in January), so they brought me a blanket and promised it would be fixed the next day. next morning I was told that the wouldn't be fixed, but they would bring me a radiator (which made me wonder why I didn't get the radiator already the previous evening???). But by this time I had enough, and had already found another accommodation. I am an experienced traveller and I have NEVER had to change accommodation before. But the combination of: 1. bed one can't sleep in, lumpy horror pillow, bedding that was stinking like the room (mold) 2. stench 3. no heating 4. ugly unwelcoming tiny dark room it was just too much. the room I had (no 2) should not be allowed to be rented out to anyone!!

• Katja (8/5): Very good - Our host Alejandra was very kind and hospitable, we liked the location and apartment in general which was comofortable and very good choice for a group of friends. Also we were able to store our luggage after check-out, until the flight. Cleanliness was not totally on the level that we are used to...As some of us used to clean apartments for turists as students. There was only one towel per person, and one of them had some sand, probably someone used it for the beach and it didn't wash completely well...
• Anna (4/5): Really overpriced and smells like mould - It was very close to a city center and it was easy to check in and check out. The room is incredibly loud, you can hear everything from other rooms, from the outside and especially from the corridor, so if someone is using a microwave at night, I woke up. Everything is very humid, the AC smells mouldy as well as everything in the bathroom - the towels were disgusting in smell and we're leaving fluff when I tried to dry up with them. The fan in the bathroom was awful (in the photo). The mattress was so used that it was like sleeping on the floor. The surroundings look shady because of the destroyed building with police tape all over it.
• Frances (7/5): Good - Stayed early Nov, 2024 in Room 2. Fantastic location in the heart of old Alicante. Great communication with the hostess. Quiet at night with the windows closed; good temperature. Appreciated the fridge and microwave. Clean. Quality of mattress could be much better. There was a dip in the middle, so lack of support for the back. Drain hole covers for the shower and sink would help reduce the smell in the bathroom. Cleaning the ceiling fan in the bathroom could improve ventilation. Room was very small.
