- michał (8/5): - Lokalizacja (blisko metra, sklepów i dworca), miła obsługa, duży pokój
- Edson Raimundo (8/5): - Localização Pouca ventilação no quarto
- Ng (8/5): Nice stay. - Very quiet. Nice property owner. Walking distance to metro train station, which is a few stations away from most attractions and city centre. Allowed to use washing machine and dryer for our laundry. A few mosquitoes.
- Csenge (10/5): Exceptional - I liked very much the accomodation!
It was clean, reliable, and the host was kind and thoughtful!
I recommend it!
I was there alone, but the room would be also good for 2 (there are 2 beds), there is enough space.
The city center is really not far, only a few stops with the Metro, or Bus.
There is a nice café a few doorsteps away, cheap and really good coffee, and nice people.
- Helena (5/5): convenient neighrborhood. dorm style room. not a good fit for a mature traveler. - nice location, not central but not too far from some central locations. Lovely coffee places within short reach. unbeatable fresh croissant and cappucino for 2.50 euros within a few feet from the apartment. Easy to get around the city by public transport. This said, if you want to stay in a dorm like room, with two single beds, and if you want to get dressed to go to the bathroom, then you will be ok in this room. It did not work for me. Nor was it clear that this is a room in an apartment. Nice host. Made sure to inform me upon arrival that no cooking in the kitchen. Apartment is smelly. Decent shower but you must be careful when stepping into the bathtub/shower since it is rather tall. Overall, it is passable but not a particularly good value for money. I would also be careful when using this website. It does not make it sufficiently clear whether you are booking a hotel room or a room in someone's apartment. the apartment ok but a bit smelly since windows are kept closed. private bathroom but not adjacent to the room. sinlge bed. dormitory style room. not really suitable for a mature traveler. could be noisy since facing the street but not too bad if you close the shutters. could be better value for money.
- John (10/5): HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Giulio got everything covered - Location and ambiance Not being able to use the kitchen

- Nandor (6/5): Ok staying, but with a little more care and cleaning it could be better. - Great location, 20 mins from the center with metro, metro Station is 5 mins walk. Around 30 % cheaper than average rooms in the city. Friendly and flexible host. Great pizzaplaces and groceries around. Clean room, and comfortable beds. The fact that the host lives in the apartment as well was not communicated transparently when booking. It was not a bothering factor, but lack of communication. Dirty bathroom, no heating after April the 5th. Host should be prepared with portable heating for cold days when general heating is off. This was a huge minus for us, when arriving home cold from the rain we could not warm up. Cracking old doors, needs some oiling. Big window with no cover in the bathroom overlooking from another room. Many things could be improved for a more pleasant stay easily with low or zero costs (cleaning, transparent communication, heating, maintain) we just did not feel the host puts any extra effort besides letting in and out people. As we do host people here in Budapest, we would expect a different approach from a private host.

- Emerson (8/5): Great room for a great value - The best part of the property is by far the location: close to the metro station, with lots of business, restaurants (the Italian one just across the street is AMAZING), cafés, etc around. Internet connection worked fine for me and my wife, the cleaning was just enough (bed linen changed and room cleaned but that’s about it). There was courtesy water and a small tv with local programming. Price was good in comparison to other rooms in the same range. The property owner indeed lives in the property but this did not affected me or my wife in any manner. The bathroom was also clean just enough, it is indeed old and has rust but well… It is what it is, at least you can take a shower and do your needs properly plus the owner offers toiletries. Nothing in particular. Just that the check in process took a little bit too long and I had an appointment more or less the same moment but ok.
- Alesia (10/5): Exceptional - everything was great. Giulio is a very friendly host, he will always help in a difficult situation. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Great location to get to any part of the city as it is close to the metro and there is a direct train to the airport. There are many shops, bars and restaurants near the house.
- Melissa (1/5): A disappoint surprise - - Close to the metro
- We were delayed and the owner let us check in 40 mins after checkin time - I thought this was a basic guesthouse/hostel, but it's a room in a private apartment, where the owner also lives. This wasn't written anywhere on the property info!
- The bathroom is not in the room but in the common hallway of the house and far from the room. The bathroom also has a COMMUNICATING WINDOW to another room in the house that is not the room we pay for.
- Serious cleaning issues, I never saw so much dust in a property! Several furniture items had thick layers of dust, there was a spider web on top of one of the beds, mould on the bathroom, limescale on the tub, the bath water even smelled bad.
- Wifi works poorly, with two people connected it doesn't load some pages.
The biggest point for me is, we would never have stayed in this room if we knew if we knew we'd be sharing the apartment with the owner and getting a bathroom that's not attached to the room. There was nothing on the listing that mentioned this, we were looking at other properties and for just a bit more we could have booked a proper guesthouse. By the time we arrived, all the properties available in our price range looked very run down, had terrible reviews and were even more expensive than this one so there was nowhere we could go. Luckily, this is easy to fix for future travelers: the host can edit the property info and write all this information there.
