- Wesley (10/5): Incredible stay in Marina Del Ray! - Amazing property! Beautiful location in Marina Del Rey. Perfectly clean throughout and a god send having a secure parking garage and space. Checking in was easy with all details sent the morning of check in. Host was available easily through WhatsApp. Cannot fault anything! Would 100% would stay again!

Der Zugang zum Whirlpool wurde öfter schon vor den eigentlichen Öffnungszeit abgeschlossen.

- Carolyn (6/5): Exactly as pictured but property entry problems marred the experience - The location was excellent, and the balcony with view of the marina very pleasant. The property was clean & exactly as pictured online. The beds were very comfortable and everyone in our group of five slept well, including the kids on the pull-out sofa. Finally, the host was very responsive to our questions and communicated the check-in & check-out processes very clearly. The biggest challenge was with entry. To get the keys, we had to drive to a liquor store with very limited parking over two miles away from the property. This was logistically challenging since our group of five was coming in two parties, and the person who was planning to pick up the keys did not have a car. An even more unpleasant surprise was that the key fob to get into the building didn't work; when we scanned it, the light changed color but the building door didn't unlock. We reported the issue to our host, and to her credit she was extremely responsive and sympathetic. She said that the key fob is a bit sensitive and may need a reset. However, because it was a holiday there was nothing she could do. We had to wait around for other building residents to let us back in every time we left, which was stressful because we couldn't be sure that someone would come by and let us in. We couldn't even go to the onsite pool because that is in a separate building that also required key fob to access.
There are three other things we didn't like, though they're minor overall. First, the property only had three forks in the kitchen. I don't know if there used to be more that disappeared over time, but it was challenging to cook and eat a meal for five when we only had three forks. Second: The water in the shower cut off after about a minute, leaving one of us dripping and unhappy while we tried to figure out what went wrong. To ensure a constant stream of water, you had to adjust a knob by the shower head. Communicating that information with a note or sign would have ensured a more pleasant experience. Finally: The listing on booking.com said we could check in at 3 pm but when our host communicated with us, she told us that check in actually starts at 4 pm.
- Laura (7/5): - Appartement spacieux, propre et confortable. Annika est très réactive pour répondre aux demandes et envoie des informations précises pour l’accès au logement. Les équipements sont corrects et le stationnement un gros atout. L’accès à l’immeuble et à la piscine se font avec une clé électronique qui se démagnétise tout le temps et on s’est retrouvé bloqués plusieurs fois. Annika est réactive pour faire débloquer la clé mais ça prend quand même du temps. On a même dû renoncer à aller à la piscine le dernier jour après être restés 20 minutes devant la porte bloquée. Il fait vraiment régler ce problème avant d’accueillir d’autres voyageurs.
- Carol (8/5): Superb Location / Spacious Rooms - Superb location overlooking boat harbor and easy walk to beach. Split bedrooms good for two couples. Apt includes two side-by-side parking spaces. Spacious bedrooms, and decent size living room with comfortable couch and balcony. Pool and hot tub outside of adjacent community building were both clean and appropriate temperatures. Host response time was instantaneous. Main bedroom mattress (futon-style stuffed) a bit lumpy. Older waterside building, so elevator lobby has that inevitable damp aged smell. Key fob pick up at off-site location (allow about 8-10 minutes to pick it up on first day you arrive at Apt.)
