• Parsons (10/5): Perfect home away from home for a group travelling together, 15 minutes from Sidney, close to beautiful Elk Lake. - We were a group of 4 women travelling to visit a friend in Sidney and enjoy the surrounding area. It is very hard to find accommodations where you have 4 separate sleeping areas and sufficient bathrooms for this type of group. Spring Gate Estate is a spacious and well equipped rental house on a huge estate near Elk Lake which is a lovely area that feels like you are out in the country while being very close to Sidney where we wanted to visit. It was perfect! Everything was great.
• Lisette (7/5): Oke! - Het huis was goed gefaciliteerd. Contact met eigenaar was goed. OP loopafstand van het meer Het huis had aan de buitenkant achterstallig onderhoud. Ramen waren super vies. Tuin aan de achterkant alleen maar onkruid en overwoekerde tuinkas. We dachten in eerste instantie dat we bij het verkeerde huis stonden. Het estate waar het huis staat is toe aan een goede opknapbeurt. Jammer, want als het allemaal goed bij gehouden was, was het een fantastische plek.

• Karen (9/5): Wonderful location, spacious and clean home. - It was a very clean and comfortable home. The location and setting were wonderful. If you are traveling with someone who is handicapped the front steps do not have a hand railing and there are stairs inside the home. The photos were accurate and we were able to assist a family member in a way that was safe.
• Nathan (9/5): Very relaxing and peaceful - Fantastic location. Perfect for family stay. Felt rural, even though very handy for the city, airport and ferry. Charming deers regularly in the garden. Short walk to Lakeside beach.
• Nicole (10/5): Traumhafte Unterkunft in sehr guter Lage. - Das Haus liegt auf einem weitläufigen Privatgrundstück und ist traumhaft. Regelmäßig hatten wir Besuch von Rehen, Eichhörnchen und Waschbären. Ein See ist fußläufig erreichbar. Die Ausstattung ist sehr umfangreich. Es gab sogar Kaffee und Tee und diverse Gewürze. Der Kühlschrank ist riesig. Das komplette Haus ist klimatisiert. Es ist geeignet für ein großes Familientreffen. Downtown Victoria und Brentwood Bay sind mit dem Auto innerhalb von 15 Minuten erreichbar. Die Klimaanlage lässt sich nicht zimmerweise einstellen, so dass es im Untergeschoss sehr, sehr kalt ist.
• Brenda (10/5): Excellent stay and what we were needing for our family vacation. - The location was great - it was a 20 minute drive to Butchart Gardens, 30 minutes to Fisherman Wharf and a 5 minute drive to the beach. There is a large greenspace upon entrance to the home. The home had all the amenities we needed. We were able to utilize the back deck and barbecue area for meal preparation, The fridge was large enough to hold the food for our 4 night/5day family vacation. We were also at the beach and playground several time which was very convenient with children.

• Maria (10/5): Home away from Home - Spring Gate was so spacious and clean. There were four of us and we had plenty of space to spread out. It was also nice that it was tucked away from the road so it was very quiet and conducive to studying. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The bathrooms were well stocked too. It was very much a home away from home. Last but not least, Kyle was very responsive and accommodating of our questions and requests. It has been a great stay and a relaxing place to come back to after full days of lectures and exams. Thank you Kyle and Janna! The only feedback we have is if there could be a way to cover the fireplace in the game room so that the cold air does not get in and impact heating in the room.

• Candice (10/5): A beautiful home in a perfect location for exploring the Saanich Peninsula - We were six adults traveling together and were delighted by both the house and its location. It's quiet, private, and beautiful, and equipped with all we needed for our stay. We were able to visit Butchart Gardens, which is an easy quick drive from the house. We went to Sidney which is such a charming town and took a whale watching trip from there. It's also totally accessible to Victoria and made our final day easier as we could explore more of that lovely city on our way to the harbor to catch our afternoon ferry. As we went with 3 people it ended up being expensive.
