Challenging car parking due to steep drive way. - Great location near sea, jetty, shops and with views of sea and mountains Car parking off steep driveway was challenging and difficult to navigate. Some floor boards were subsiding under the carpet.

• Fiona (8/5): An enjoyable stay. - We loved the location, with beautiful views over Coles Bay. The property is very close to an ice creamery/fish and chip shop, general store and cafes. It is a little dated and could do with some love. Eg, dead plants in planter box. Some of the coffee mugs were dirty. There were notices about water use which we could fully understand. However, the sprinkler in the garden came on twice a day which seemed a bit contradictory.

The house had everything you needed for a fun little hoilday Nothing really major other than the oven didn't work that well. It also would have been nice to have a mirror in the master bedroom. Again very minor things.

• Ruth (9/5): Didn’t want to leave - Could have stared at the beautiful view from our accommodation forever. It was lovely to sit on the balcony to enjoy breakfast. The apartment was spotless and nicely furnished. The location within walking distance of the small group of shops at Coles Bay was perfect. The stove was very old. We cooked in the oven but could not get the stove top to work. Also the chopping board selection was pretty awful. This equipment was incongruous with the rest of the apartment which was nicely furnished and equipped with modern appliances.

• Joanne (9/5): Lovely property in a fantastic location. - Fantastic view of the Hazards plus walking distance to the cruise terminal. Property was spacious & well furnished with full kitchen. Air conditioner in main living area & heaters in bedrooms. No heating lamps in the bathroom, which is probably not an issue most of the year.

• Robert (5/5): Passable - The accommodation was good and in an excellent location . It has all the facilities of home. And the WiFi was very good. Poor customer service. I booked the day before arrival and received confirmation of 3pm entry. On the day of arrival, my payment was taken, and 3pm arrival was reconfirmed. About 1 hour later, I was told entry was now 4 pm due to cleaning, and it was my fault for booking late. I rang FHH and was given short shrift, and NO, they can not get it ready for 3pm . So I delayed my arrival by 1 hour. The person dealing with me was sharp and unconcerned. I was furious. To exacerbate the situation , I arrived at 4.15, opened up my phone messages, and found a message to say it had been ready since 3 pm.!!! If they had cleaned the property the day it was vacated, then this would never have happened. Diabolical customer service. Accommodation 8. Customer Service 1
• Line (1/5): Bad - The location The condition of this place was disappointing. It was dirty and worn down, with several major cleanliness issues. The bathroom had a puddle of water and stains on the floor, the kitchen had an ant infestation around the teas and coffees, and the washing machine had mold and an old cloth left inside. The bedroom had a spider and spider webs, and all the windowsills were covered in thick layers of dust. Unfortunately, it was bad enough that we had to find another place to sleep, so we completely wasted our money. The only positive was the great view, but that didn’t make up for the overall lack of cleanliness.

Blocks the stunning view when sitting on the couch.

Beds were comfortable and the living area is large enough to truly relax in if there for a long stay. On arrival, the second bedroom was locked shut (no doubt an assumption was made that “two guests” meant we’d be sharing a bed, which was not our intention as two travelling friends). It was certainly an inconvenience as we had to meet people at the unit and elsewhere to have the matter rectified, HOWEVER, credit to the staff for staying back late to help coordinate access, and doing so in a friendly and cooperative manner.

The kitchen has everything you need. Very close to shop and cafes, walking tracks and boat ramp. Our second visit to this lovely holiday house.

Location is excellent - a few hundred metres from the jetty, the ice creamery, fish and chips, small grocer and wood fired pizza 2. very close to the beach and around 800m to the national park information centre 3. Plenty of air and light in the rooms and the cross breeze is lovely 4. Washing machine works well 5. kitchen has sufficient space for cooking 6. TV and streaming services are a great addition 7. property manager was very responsive to contact about the issues raised below this feedback was provided to the property manager and they are following up. 1. the front door catches on the floor when opening 3. Only 3 of the 4 oven hot plates work 4. The oven and grill functions appear not to work 5. Crockery is old and stained 6. Cold tap in the bathroom sink thumps/bangs like there is air in the pipes and there is not hot water in the bathroom sink

We found the property itself to be a bit on the cold side and needed heating on whenever we were inside even though it wasn’t that cold outside. Overall a nice clean property.
