• Josep Maria (9/5): Ubicación excelente y personal de servicio muy amable. - La ubicació és realment excel · lent, les vistes al llac són increïbles, a la nit el nivell de soroll és mínim, es pot descansar perfectament. Als voltants de l'apartament podeu trobar tota mena de comerços i serveis. L'equipació de la cuina és molt justa, potser deuria millorar una mica.

• Michael Rey (9/5): Great location and spacious studio! - The location was excellent, and the room was spacious enough for two people. It also has a stunning view of the lake. It was worth the price that we paid. The coffee shop downstairs was a pleasant place to chill. There are many lovely cafes in the area too. The AC broke down during our last night; the staff tried to fix it twice, but it did not work. It was already nighttime, and they told us they couldn't get help to fix it then and that we had to wait until morning, but sadly it was our last night there, so we didn't bother too much. The staff provided us with an extra fan, though. We had no choice.

• Katharina (2/5): Ich habe mich geekelt. - Die Lage ist interessant und das Bett war bequem. Dreck und Ungeziefer! Konnte die Küchenzeile gar nicht benutzen, es gab überall Tierchen.
• Sudeep (8/5): Excellent view, but bring your own water/coffee - The location was just fantastic. Room with a view, truly. It was wonderful to wake up to the beautiful lake views, and the large windows support this well. Easy to find and check in, and decent facilities. No water was included, and no tea/coffee in the room. The motion sensor for the light outside the room didn't work well, leaving me often in the dark when trying to punch in.
• Alessandra (7/5): - Location bellissima. Appena fuori dal centro caotica, affacciata sul lago. Personale non parla inglese ma con Google translate si riesce a comunicare benissimo. Sono gentilissimi! Al piano terra c é un piccolo caffè affacciato sul lago molto buono e pieno di locals! La doccia e il lavandino erano intasati, abbiamo chiesto di pulirli ma non é stato fatto. Siamo stati solo 2 notti quindi non era grave.

• Bence Miklós (9/5): I would absolutely stay again, very good price/value ratio! - Basically everything - the location, the personnel, the cleanliness, the facilities and the comfort. I loved the view on the lake! Also, the location is very central but still more quite than the old town, a golden middle way to me. The AC is functional, however, it didn't manage to cool down the room as much as necessary. Regardless of changing the settings, it was still humid and warm which made me sweat.
• Brigitta (5/5): Nice location with questionable hygine - Good hosts. Great view and quiet at night. 3 out of 4 days only cold water. Hygine low, towels stained and dirty even after asking for new clean towels. Last visitor shavings in many places in bathroom. Someone dirty toenail in bed.

• Gemma (7/5): Comfortable little hotel with stunning views - The location was great & the view out over the lake from level 6 was gorgeous!! The shower didnt drain away & flooded quickly, the smell of cigarette from the room next door was a bit of a let down. The room was comfortable & served it's purpose for last 2 night stay before flying out but the fridge didnt work & some things were tired & broken like the kitchen drawers, cupboards. Inside kitchen drawers was dirty, I didnt use them but just noted the fact. The room smelt very strongly of cleaning products almost as if to mask something, possibly cigarette odor.

• Minh (7/5): Great location, but cleanliness could be improved. - This homestay is located by Truc Bach Lake and offers a beautiful view. The room is fit for two people. On the ground floor, there is a café where the staff also assist as receptionists. The staff are friendly and provide clear guidance. There is also a small, very friendly dog that warmly welcomes guests. We rented several rooms, and each room had a different issue. The blankets could be improved in terms of cleanliness. In one of the rooms, someone felt like they were bitten by something while lying on the bed. In another room, the water did not drain properly, causing water to accumulate on the bathroom floor. The room itself was quite well ventilated and did not have any noticeable odor. In the kitchen, when we tried to use the electric kettle, the power outlet did not seem to work, so we had to plug it in somewhere else. We did not use the pots or the stove, but the kitchen utensils looked quite old. This would still be acceptable if they were kept clean.
• Olaf (8/5): Äußerst angenehmer Aufenthalt , toller Empfang , Danke Ngyuen! - Die Lage , Zimmer 701 , ist perfekt , relativ leise , da nachts wenig Verkehr, alles fussläufig erreichbar und mit gemietetem Fahrrad perfekt. Ich bin statt 3 , 6 Tage geblieben und hätte nochmals verlängert, wenn es möglich gewesen wäre. Außerordentlich freundliches und kompetentes Personal. Insbesondere Ngyuen Duc Anh ist eine richtige Perle . Vielen Dank! Das Badezimmer könnte eine Renovierung vertragen.

• Lee (5/5): - The location is great as it's very near to west lake and the centre of Hanoi. I have to say I was impressed by the photos of the place, taken by whom I have no idea, but in reality they are different. The entrance and reception area is very cramped and dismal and gives an overall bad impression. The staff don't speak English and are not very forthcoming. On seeing my room I was very disappointed, as it was not like the photos depicted and above all was not very clean. I found one of the drawers with empty condom packets in it and another full of food crumbs. The bathroom wasn't very clean and there were ants in the bed. I had to ask for the room to be cleaned and the bins to be emptied otherwise it wouldn't have been done. Please remember travellers, that in Vietnam you don't throw loo paper down the loo, it goes into a bin. And the most unpleasant thing was being asked by the very young man in the"reception" to sign some official looking document, which was in Vietnamese, for the police. There was written 15,000,000 VND to be paid for something but he tried to explain that it didn't have to be paid! We refused to sign anything and my son who lives in Vietnam confronted him about this, so I think that must have worried him because my friend and I were no longer bothered by the staff. I can only say that travellers please be cautious should you be presented with a similar document. Booking.com when contacted told me they knew nothing about such documents and to handle it ourselves. Very reassuring! Looking at previous reviews about this place I am very surprised at all the positive comments. I was very dissatisfied .
• Jo-Ann (1/5): Fire hazard property - The location The place was not clean. On arrival I had to ask them to clean up. There was no viable access to the fire escape. I was on floor 7, and the top of the stairway was permanently blocked. On my balcony there was a small folding ladder which I presume I would have, in the case of a fire, to use to descend to floor 5 where the fire escape started. The tap was rusting, as was the soap dish. Everything was tatty. I kept catching my leg on the bed as I walked to the balcony, On day 3 they asked me and my friend who was separately booked to sign rental contracts for 15,000,000 VND and to pay the electricity apart. DREADFUL!!!

Although the property is generally clean, it could use some deep cleaning, such as cleaning the edges of the floor, the edges window sills, and the edges of the counters.

• Inna (7/5): Good - Nice studio, comfortable bed, there is a balcony with the lake view. The room was perfumed with some strong aroma, which wasn't unpleasant but it was impossible to air out. There was a party downstairs at a bar nearby, it wasn't too loud, but still audible, so the earplugs are a must.
• Clémentine (5/5): They advertise a different type of rooms to rent you a dump… - Great location I could leave my bag before check in time They put me in a room on the 1st floor with mold on the walls, no view (cables on the balcony obscuring the view), stained furniture. The room did not match at all the pictures advertised on booking. I made the remark upon arrival but the personal does not speak English and I don’t speak Vietnamese so it was hard to communicate. When I realized the shower was insalubre I insisted again after the 1 of my 3 nights booked there to get the room I paid for. Because I insisted they finally put me on the upper floor room (the ones they advertise on booking). They should create separate add with adjusted price tag for each of the rooms they rent. This is just misleading for the customers and creates a very bad experience.

Recommend 9/10. - The room was clean and have everything you need ( hot water, gel, shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste, all can be renewed everyday. The views are amazing just front of the lake, with a small but enough room balcony. The staff are really helpful and caring. They don’t speak to much English but you should have google translate in hand when you are travelling around Vietnam. They kept my motorbike inside every night, doesn’t matter what time I’ve arrived, 2am, 3am… they are always happy to help. Hanoi is famous for motorbike theft, so it’s better be cautious.
