Guest Reviews
- Aimee (9/5): Loved our stay and would highly recommend. - Location was good. A short drive to the main town and the beaches. LOVED being on the farm, close to the horses - was a great experience for us and our puppy. Enjoyed morning off leash walks around the paddock. The host was very accommodating and friendly, allowed us an earlier check in as we arrived earlier than expected. The home had everything you could need inside. No stairs from the deck down to the grass which is no big deal, but does mean you have to keep opening the gate to let the dog up and down from the house.

- Natalie (9/5): Lovely stay at Palmer Island, would highly recommend! - Adored tiny home Irene! The location was brilliant & so sweet with the horses nearby. Everything was clean, bathroom spacious & verandah was beautiful for breakfast. Easy to access & communication was excellent. Nothing really. When we’ve previously stayed at accommodation at this price point hosts provided a modest welcome pack eg: with some bread, butter & jam. This addition would have been appreciated but overall was a wonderful stay & have recommended to others!
- Adele (9/5): Perfect if you are travelling with pets. Fabulous relaxing short stay with a difference. - The property was exactly as we expected, beautifully presented and perfect location to explore the Yamba area. Only one thing to note, the loft bedroom was a bit too small though expected (low ceiling) for us to use comfortably however there is a clever pull out bed in the lounge area we found extremely comfortable and we both had a great nights sleep. No complaints whatsoever. We had a lovely stay of one night with our Labrador in Tiny House Irene. Our dog was secure with heaps of room to chill on acreage, she did not want to leave! Lovely Stay.
- Paul (5/5): Not as quiet as it appears. - Tidy No welcome instructions, even though they were listed in the booking details. No wifi, until we texted the owner to ask, and found it was hidden and the battery was flat. No headroom to sit up in bed. Very close to a busy road which is not evident in the advertising. We expected somewhere quiet.
- Maree (10/5): Great tiny house close to beautiful Yamba beach - Lovely tiny home accom exactly as described. Great to sit out with a glass of wine and watch over the friendly horses. Fully secured dog yard and lots of little welcoming extras to make our stay special. Hosts very responsive with great communication. Look forward to our next stay.

- Ong (9/5): Excellent stay - The Tiny House is located among the nature with farm animals around.
The house is designed nicely, clean and cosy. We had a good experience staying there, and relaxing morning walking around seeing the lovely animals. Nothing
- Madeline (10/5): So peaceful - We had everything we needed for coffee in the morning and a bottle of red at night.
Was such an awesome trip and we felt instantly relaxed when we got there,
Our host was really generous to check that we were comfortable in the stay. It’s a bit of a drive into town but it’s actually so nice and quiet

- Zoe (10/5): Clean, quiet, tranquil experience - Everything ran so smooth. Accommodation was spotless. Louise was excellent to communicate with and very accommodating. Highly recommended Nothing
- Megan (8/5): Peaceful getaway with the key essentials - Was a peaceful stay and the tiny house is well fitted out with the essentials. Whilst we didn’t use it much the secure yard for the dogs is a great bonus and the property had good water flow etc. From the pictures I thought it was going to be private and secluded property, where you could roam the grounds - maybe picnic under a tree etc. it’s actually surrounded on all sides by main roads, the grounds are not fit for spending time on due to the state of the grass and animals etc and the tiny house looks out towards the main house. I got the better of the two but would have been very disappointed if I was in the second tiny house which looks directly into the back of the one I was in. People come and go to tend to and ride their horses too and given the two gigantic dog shits behind the house I was staying in I assume sometime bring their dog too. I think the pictures of the tiny house were very accurate and that was as I expected but the lands and outlook is perhaps a little deceiving. Also just the little things not tended too, like upstairs definitely needs a lamp given the main light is about 30cm from your face, it would have been handy to have a microwave and washing machine, and the coffee was off (going white) with about two scrappy tea bag’s left in the container
- Laurie (8/5): See comments in "what we liked" - The tiny house is located on a farm property with cattle and horses. It is conveniently located and only a short distance from the township of Mclean. The tiny house is exactly that. It is very confortably furnished and well equipped but note that the queen bed is located in a loft with not much head room. My wife and I are both almost eighty. I took the loft bed and found it very comfortable. My wife slept on the ground floor sofa bed. Everything else worked well. Laurie All worked OK.
- Raelene (10/5): We were unableto stay the night as our dog was not happy to see animals - Cute little location. Lovely farm animals. Unfortunately our dog was not happy so we were unable to stay. Louise was very understanding.
- Kristian (10/5): -
- Elen (9/5): Superb -
- Kim (10/5): Exceptional - All Nothing
- Julie (6/5): Interesting tiny home experience - Well presented, clean with all amenities. Dog yard well fenced. The loft bed was claustrophobic and difficult to access when there is two of you. Location is closer to Maclean than Yamba. Pricey for its location and size.
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lauren (10/5): So pretty, had everything we needed and great spot for our two dogs as well and pretty location - Such a cute little place, good location and loved all the horses around.
- Stella (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (9/5): Superb -
- Jeffery (6/5): Pleasant -
- Michelle (10/5): A wonderful spot to stop in the middle of a long drive :) - Loved the layout and the position. Plus the little yard for the dogs. Lots of small touches that go a long way :) Nothing
- Katie (9/5): Fantastic place to rest & relax - The location is amazing. The house is very cosy. We took our dog & it was so easy as there is a fenced area for them outside as well as a kennel. They are also able to come inside. There was no microwave.
- Carol (10/5): Exceptional -
- William (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanne (9/5): Superb -
- Coolican (7/5): Clean and lovely tiny house at farm stay 15min from Yamba. - Lots of thought has gone into the layout and use of tiny house Was called about checking in early when previously confirmed time for 10-11AM. Management must have gotten it wrong with times she referenced clearly not in messages was uncomfortable as topic wasn’t handled like this.
- Everaerdt (9/5): better than expected - it's a farm stay so wonderful to have all those horses around, it's a quiet place in a nice environment. can't come up with something
- Billie (8/5): Very good -
- Georgia (9/5): Superb -
- Danielle (8/5): Very good -
- Alison (8/5): Gorgeous location, beautiful deck to enjoy the views - Location was lovely. Property is well kept and looks amazing. Unfortunately it was a really hot day.
The bed is in a loft and the air did not cool that area down. We had to sleep on the couch. We did have the air on for awhile to cool the tiny home but needs a fan to distribute it to the loft.
- Emily (9/5): Superb -
