• Adam (7/5): Amazing views, beautiful garden, good place to stay in Sharm - Nice room, Incredible location and views, excellent garden with a good pool. Everything you need for a few days and would be great with a larger group (and multiple rooms). Easy (10 mins taxi for 100-150 LE) to get to the old market. Adam, the host, was always around and very friendly. The mattress was a bit tired. The A/C was loud but not particularly effective. Bathroom door lock broke (with someone locked inside) but the host resolved this.
• Justine OBRY (8/5): Petite résidence au calme mais manque d'équipements. - Petite résidence calme, loin de l'ambiance "resort" omnipresente à Charm el Cheik. La piscine et la petite plage publique en contre bas (il faut descendre environ 100 marches) sont vraiment les atouts majeurs. La gentillesse du gardien de la maison. La maison est isolée (quartier résidentiel) et les restaurants à côté ne sont pas exceptionnels. La cuisine commune était vraiment vieillissante et il manquait des équipements pour se faire à manger. La clim de la chambre était très bruyante. C'est dommage car la maison a vraiment du potentiel.

It will ruin your vacation. - None Dirty bathroom, brown water coming out of the facet, water pressure bad, badly stained towels, bad bug bites, owner not refused to give me the refund even though i moved to another hotel due to unacceptable conditions. Not to mention that this property is not cheap for egyptian standard. You can find a better place for the half of the price in naama bay.

• Chiara (9/5): - We stayed for 4 nights in the villa. There was only another couple, so it was very quiet, but Adam was great and provided us with all we asked for. He even went to the shop and bought coal for us for the bbq that because of a misunderstanding we didn't buy. Everything was very clean, appliances are not very modern but they work perfectly, showers are great.

• Lynn (10/5): - The views are amazing and so quiet and peaceful with great snorkelling off the beach. Not many restaurants around the area and the beach isn't private.
• Maxine (1/5): No communication about arrangements for arriving on a late evening flight and no refund yet - After you book you get an email with local Egyptian numbers for arriving during the day until 10pm, but there is no Whatsapp number to contact anyone from the UK before you leave. So I used the booking.com platform to contact the property to make arrangements for a late check in. Travelling alone I didn't want to be at the airport phoning an Egyptian phone number and for the housekeeper to be in bed and not knowing about a late check in. I contacted the property before and during the booked week, but there was no reply. I changed my flights 3 times in order to still have a chance to hear back from someone and to enjoy at least a part of the holiday. Finally on the last day of the booking I got a reply from Samir that apologised for lack of response because he was travelling and didn't have wifi. By this time there was nothing he could do but sort out a failed booking. This should have been straight forward. Booking.com said he'd need to apply a cancellation fee waiver in writing so they could make a refund and I needed to wait 48 hours. During the course of the week I phoned booking.com 3 times and each time they went through this process. Meanwhile Samir replied on the booking.com platform once to say that he hadn't received an email from booking.com. I went through the process again, another 48 hours, then another. Booking.com and myself are both still trying to get hold of Samir for the cancellation fee waiver. I started this process with my first contact on 8th February, the holiday was booked for the week 15th-22nd February and today as I leave this review, it is 26th February. I paid extra flight costs to make the changes, I paid for the week at Samir's property and I'm paying to phone the UK number for Booking.com from Egypt to try to sort this out and get a refund for what should have been a super first week.
• Frederik Hovland (10/5): Living in the hotel was like staying at a 5 star villa. It was extremely nice for what we payed. I would stay here again - I’m really happy I booked this hotel. Everything was better than I expected. The housekeeper Adam is a nice man who made our stay better, he even let us stay in the hotel and use the facilities after checkout for many hours until we left for our flight. The view was amazing, especially from our balcony, but also from the pool and outside area. The hotel is located in a very local area of sharm which we found great, there’s a local market 2 minutes away where they never charged us more than they did locals. The air conditioner was a little loud and the beds could have been softer, but I am so pleased with everything else that I’m not going to let this affect the scores of my review.

• Vera (10/5): - It’s a cute, quiet corner away from large resorts, hotels, and mass tourism, although very close to fancy Farsha and company, with a beach (Ras Katy area) that is not equipped and therefore frequented by only a few calm, respectful people. The access to the sea and the reef is simply perfect. It’s truly a place of peace, with a breathtaking sunset over the Sinai, right behind the house. I highly recommend it. There is no reception, but there is a kitchen you can use, and both indoor and outdoor spaces are available. The kitchen is equipped with basic essentials for cooking and eating.

The only downside is the noise you can here from your room. We couldn’t sleep very well because we could here the others , doors opening and closing, noise from their room.
• Issa Ismail (7/5): Fantastisk sted med god beliggenhed og sødt personale, trænger til udskiftning af sengene - God beliggenhed med fantastisk udsigt. Personalet (George og Adam) var utrolig søde. Villaen lå på et meget roligt boligkvarter. Man følte sig meget sikker. Hyggelig indretning. Møblerne trænger til udskiftning. Sengen var meget ustabil og faldt sammen flere gange og skulle samles. Dørene og vinduerne trænger til en kærlig hånd. Der er meget larm når folk snakker, og man kan høre alt. Der var en del arbejde omkring poolen som desværre var meget kold, så ikke så meget privatliv, men de var meget respektfulde.

Кондиционер, стиральная машина, работали без нареканий. не уверена что в следующий раз выберу снова это отель. неплохо было бы поменять мебель в номерах и не включать автоматически в счёт уборку номеров, т.к. она не производится

• Bettina (10/5): Eine luxuriöse schöne Unterkunft fernab vom Massentourismus in einer gehobenen Wohngegend. - Ein traumhaftes Anwesen mit wunderbaren Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten im Garten, der direkt an das Cliff grenzt. Dort geht man ca 50 Meter entlang und kommt zu einer steilen Treppen (>100 Stufen), die hinunter zum Strand führt. Fast ein Privatstrand. Zum Baden ist er nicht geeignet (Riffplatte...), aber zum Schnorcheln ein Traum. Leichter Zugang und kurze Strecke bis zum Riffrand. Wunderschöne Korallenlandschaft. Unser Zimmer (das mittlere von dreien) war recht klein und es fehlte ein Schrank.

Nice cliffside close to beaches & a beautiful view. They also have a washer machine free to use. Wifi is decent. George our house guy was very nice.

• Elisa (9/5): Rimane comunque una struttura in cui vorrei tornare senza pensarci due volte! - Struttura molto bella con vista sul mare spettacolare, ideale per una coppia che cerca una vacanza silenziosa e tranquilla pur rimanendo vicino a spiagge bellissime e centri di attrazione (Sharm Vecchia, centro di Hadaba dove mangiare tipico spendendo poco, Farsha). George è stato molto ospitale e disponibile, ci ha prestato persino le maschere per fare snorkeling. Considerando di essere in Egitto, la struttura va benissimo rispetto i loro standard. Camera un po’ piccola, unica pecca.

Die gemeinsame Nutzung der Küche hat gut funktioniert. Es ist wunderschön - leider werden viele der Holzmöbel am Pool nicht mehr lange halten oder sind schon kaputt.

Es ist ruhig gelegen und es ist nah am Farsha Cafe wo man unbedingt mal hinsollte. Restaurants und Bars, sowie ein tolles Frühstückscafe sind auch in unmittelbarer Nähe. Man kann aber auch die Küche im Haus nutzen. UNser Zimmer 2 Bettzimmer, war sehr klein, man hatte wenig Platz aber für 2 Tage war es okay, für einen längeren Aufenthalt würde ich definitiv ein größeres Zimmer buchen.

La maison accueillante et confortable, le jardin magnifiquement entretenu, la piscine relaxante, la vue exceptionnelle sur la mer rouge et le Sinaï et enfin l'accès direct au spot de snorkeling juste en dessous ont fait de notre séjour un moment merveilleux. Tout cela n'aurait pas été possible sans la gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel toujours souriant attentif et prévenant.
• John (9/5): Great alternative to all-inclusive resort - Fantastic location in a smart part of town. The large swimming pool and manicured gardens look out over the sea from the clifftop, and the sunsets are incredible! Shops and restaurants are close by. There's a well-equipped communal kitchen and living area. The room was a fairly small and basic, no balcony. Recommend you try to get the back bedroom with balcony and pool/sea views. This is a guest house so don't expect hotel facilities such as reception, breakfast or room service.

Sadece huzuru tatmak için bile buraya gidilebilir. George oldukça yardımcı ve check in saatleri için oldukça yardımcı oldu. Hiçbir sorun yaşamadık. • Francesca (8/5): Bene ma non benissimo. - Struttura molto bella, soprattutto per la posizione a picco sul mare e l’area piscina. La camera era semplice e pulita. Se si cammina, guadando il mare, verso destra costeggiando la parete a picco sul mare, si arriva a una comoda scalinata (sembra chiusa ma non lo è) che conduce nella spiaggia pubblica, priva di servizi ma pulita. Per tutta la durata del soggiorno (5 notti) non ci è stata pulita la camera, se non una volta, nonostante chiedessimo al gestore tutte le mattine (non eravamo in condizione disperate, ma si sa che al mare, tra sabbia e docce frequenti, un minimo di gestione e pulizia in più sia necessaria, anche solo per la pulizia dei cestini che attiravano altrimenti le formiche). Non pretendevamo un ricambio degli asciugamani giornaliero, ma un minimo di cura della camera sì. Mi sono sentita a disagio nel dover chiedere ripetutamente al gestore di rifare la stanza, perché si vedeva che era un uomo che lavorava da solo nella struttura, ma così non si fa! Ho capito forse troppo tardi che, se avessi dato una mancia a inizio soggiorno, magari avrei avuto la pulizia giornaliera, perché è così che funziona in Egitto, ma non mi è piaciuto per niente venirlo a sapere.
• Esann (7/5): Peaceful and beautiful, but don't bet on a great snorkelling experience. - Peaceful, clean, great views - but don't stay here thinking that you'll have access to an incredible snorkelling reef. It's definitely not the case. In fact, if you've dived beautiful reefs elsewhere in the Red Sea, this one will be disappointing. There are lots of small shops within walking distance where you can buy food, but if you don't the area and are unsure where to go...a simple sketch with directions in the property will go a long way to help visitors. Friendly staff and a chilled place. But don't go there to dive.
• Alison (10/5): Beautiful location and restful quiet place - We had a really relaxing pleasant stay at Ras Katy Sunset Views. George who was our host was kind and helpful. The facilities were great especially the lovely pool. The place is convenient to shops and restaurants and the snorkeling at the beach in front of the property was fantastic We had a small twin room.. it was the cheapest. When we go back we will take a bigger room as we didn't have enough space or a wardrobe..
• Telmaccastro (6/5): I wasn't happy with my value for money. - The location is excellent, close to Farsha Cafe and several beach clubs, with great restaurants nearby. It’s a safe and welcoming area, ideal for a relaxing stay. The staff, especially George, were incredibly respectful and friendly. He assisted me and my friend in finding secure transfers around Sharm El Sheikh and even lent us snorkeling gear free of charge. The swimming pool was a small oasis — very relaxing. There is no direct beach access — the guesthouse sits atop Ras Katy cliff, which offers beautiful snorkeling views, though the path down is quite difficult and not suitable for everyone. The beach below is public, and unfortunately, petty thefts are common in the area. As for the pool, while it has a lovely ocean view, the backyard lacks any fencing, which means that strangers frequently pass by right in front of the pool and barbecue area. This made the space feel unsafe and not very private. I stayed in a room without a sea view, and it was extremely hot. The air conditioning wasn’t working, and we couldn’t open the window due to the mosquitoes, which made the stay quite uncomfortable. There was no breakfast provided, and there are no nearby supermarkets or cafés, so getting food in the morning was inconvenient. Considering the price we paid — equivalent to a 4-star hotel — I believe at least some complimentary items like fruit, juice, or yogurt should be offered, even if with a small extra fee.

We loved our time here xx The air in just blew room temp air even on the coldest setting. The beds were clean but hard. But that was all.

• Lepceis (10/5): The sort of place you’d propose to missus. - It’s hard not to like it, from the jaw dropping view, the staff, location. With access to a stunning private beach. My stay at Ras katy was indeed memorable, big up Hozain for his attention to detail and assistance. The doors were a bit of a hassle, but manageable.
• Carmen (9/5): Beautiful location and clean property, good value for money - Beautiful and quiet location. Close to the beach, Wonderful views and sunsets. Quiet local neighbourhood. 100 meter from minimarket and local shops, 10 minutes walk from supermarket and restaurants. The only downside, it is far from Sharm Airport and Naama Bay, so you depend on your bargain skills to move around by taxi. But if you prefer a quiet place with local flavour, and do not mind not being in an all-inclusive resort, or shopping malls and clubs, this is the place for you. Some noise from other rooms, guests shouting or slamming doors at night. Keep in mind there are no soundproof walls, but noise from other guests is not the property's fault. Maybe they could hang some signs at the main door, in the stairway, to remind people that nights should be quiet. Otherwise, bring earplugs and use patience. This was beginning of february, only 3 rooms occupied, I don't know in high season when the place is fully occupied, with guests using the pool at night or staying until late in the chillout area.
• Sean (10/5): Amazing self sufficient accomodation. - If you want accommodation with enough facilities to look after yourself but also close to tons of food options this place is it! Amazing view, fantastic snorkelling a short stair filled wallk away. More in the local residential area so not a fake all inclusive vibe but close to restaurants and the amazing farsha cafe. Awesome on site property manager George. Insane view and nice clean, comfortable rooms. Honestly nothing.
• Carmen (7/5): It’s a very good option if you’re not looking for anything very exclusive but a nice atmosphere and stay near to the bea - The staff is very helpful and the location is great. It really has beautiful sunset views and a nice beach is close to the hotel where you can snorkel. The facilities are quite standard and not everything works 100% well.
• Vanessa (9/5): Good villa in nice quiet location, with excellent snorkelling close by. - Location excellent with views of sea and beautiful sunsets. Beach very close, with excellent snorkelling. 110 steps down to closest beach and access through a hole in fence as gate was padlocked. Steps were all different sizes and no handrails. Beach very quiet though, but no facilities such as sun beds etc. Ras Um El Sid beach 5 minutes walk away, which had hand rails and seats to rest at various stages on the steps and facilities on the beach.
• Trieffort (8/5): Could have been a great experience - The location was wonderful .. access to the beach and the view Window didn’t open , doors were tight fit so to close or open them was problematic, no shower gel, no tea packets
• Mariah (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect just the doors were a bit hard to open first but when you get the technic super easy, George is an amazing person who will be always here to help you for anything good explanation I will come back for sure and also this cute dogs coming everyday in the garden 🤩🥰
• Nicole (10/5): Exceptional - Me and my friend stayed in september. The host, George, is a lovely person and he was always around to help, the location is gorgeous and the place is very clean, peaceful and well kept. The outside garden is very relaxing, bonus points for the swimming pool. Super recommended!
• Mary (6/5): Very mediocre accommodation at a very high price - The view. Location was quiet. WIFI worked perfectly and the caretaker was extremely nice and helpful. A door with a lock that works - almost impossible to get the key into the door. At one stage I ended up being locked out of my room. On the Booking website, it states that the accommodation has a private beach - this is not the case. The air conditionning was a disaster - a huge ancient unit loud as a plane taking off, even with the fan at the lowest setting. And worst of all the price; I paid nearly 120 $ per night (yes, per night) - a total rip-off given the standard of this accommodation; It cost me less to stay in a 5* resort, in a huge room overlooking the beach furnished to a high standard and all meals included.
• Sue (9/5): Querky but easy access accommodation - A great find. It was a distance away from all the hubhub with its own pool and a 10 minute walk to a beach with great snorkelling. Room was a good size, shower was fine Shops/Markets for own food 5/10 minutes walk away with plenty of choice. 'Old Eygpt' Sharm is 5 mins in a cab 100-150 EgP is plenty enough for the the fare. Loads if shops and food choices. On site was the Manager who was around all the time in case. Bed was really solid. Perhaps hadn't undertood the 'shared kitchen' message in the booking.com info (not that it was problem)
• Jocelyn (9/5): A special place to stay in a quiet area of Sharm ... fabulous infinity sunset views ... Great pool - The quiet privacy .... the green garden ... the view .... George .... the balcony windows ....
• Heather (10/5): Wonderful. - This is a beautiful place and George (he is one of the housekeepers) was so kind and accommodating! The staff work hard to keep this lovely place pristine. It is a perfect location (very close to Farsha Mountain Lodge which is an amazing place to go at night and during the day) with groceries and everything you need a short walk away. The views of the seas from the pool area make this a relaxing and wonderful experience. Will definitely be back. Everything was great!
• David (9/5): Work vacation at Ras Katy Sunset Views - This place is really good for work holidays. There is a lot of seating outside, even multiple power sockets. There is a dedicated pool just for a few apartments. The beach is really close, and it's almost empty. And it is really calm there! Only details. The kitchen itinerary could be improved: no sharp knives, etc. The AC is a little bit loud.

• Anna (8/5): Okey place to stay for a few days. - Great view. Great location. Big room. There were a great pool and also place where you can chill outside. The bed was unconfrtable. There were a hole in a mattress and it was not great to have it. The airconditionar was really loud but worked. The wi-fi more or less worked.
• Shi (10/5): Exceptional - Hozain was very welcoming and the place was clean. Having a smart TV in the room was a nice option to have to relax!
• Rayan (10/5): Exceptional - Great location with access to a secret beach (ask the owner), close to dive centers and to good restaurants near the benzina. Furthermore the pool is great and hot, access to the pool-bar area so you can sit there and enjoy a book or a drink (that you bring yourself) in the water. Finally good amenities, proper toilet and shower which is not always a given in Egypt.
• Baoaidi (10/5): Exceptional - The place is quiet with a beautiful view, which is what I wanted for a vacation. It is a bit far from tourism shopping centers, but you can find supermarket, gas station, and cafes within walking distance. The house owner was very generous and helpful. He drove me to the beach and recommended a one-day boat trip which was gorgeous. It is my first time trying snorkeling and diving. An unforgettable experience.
• Sevgin (7/5): Good - garden is very enjoyable. employee is so kind and helpful. I choose deluxe room( 1 queen bed). however it was twin bed. the room size appears 30m2. it wasn’t even 15m2.
• Soliman (3/5): Definitely not worth it - Nothing special The wifi was very out of reach from the room, so we never had proper internet for the whole stay, The bed was falling apart too, the room was kinda depressing
• Yansevin (10/5): Great stay - Great reef for snorkeling, gardenner help and overall house state. The owner is very reliable, quick answers, easy to go with. Great great experience. All with the owner is perfect and smooth. Just sad its was through Booking.com as i really prefer to work with other rental websites (discount not honored and 0 customer service). Booking.com is such a bad platform customerwise.

Relax like a private house and far award from the confusion of resorts Pool one day was not clean,but the very kind host Made it clean and beautiful in one day. Thank you,recommend this place

• Shona (10/5): What a fabulous place to stay in a superb location! - What a fabulous place to stay in a superb location! We arrived to Sharm ahead of our 6-day off-grid trek into the Sinai desert with a local guide. Not ones for resorts, we found Ras Katy, given the new property and few reviews, we took a chance. Gosh, how delighted we were that we did. Other than the owner, we had the place to ourselves mostly. Our balcony room was spacious, spotless and very comfortable. The shared kitchen was very well equipped. We shopped for groceries locally (5 min walk), and had the choice to order in local specialities via the housekeeper if we wished. The outside space was well planned, spacious, incredibly comfortable and immaculately clean offering views of the sea and the mountains. A short walk takes you down to the beach where you can swim and snorkel on the reef, a stones throw from the beach (a popular spot where the glass bottom boats also congregated, but not bustling and also very safe).

• Camila (10/5): AMAZING 10/10 Villa to stay on a unique experience few steps away from the red sea and coral reefs. - the AMAZING VILLA, with unique direct access to the red sea, we where so lucky and we where the only guests so we had all facilities just for us. The share area was amazing, we even had a bbq during the night. Sharma cafe is just 7 mins walking, same as supermarkets and liquor stores. The pool was very nice, the entire place! the housekeeper was soo charm, nice and helpful! definitely a 10/10 experience! nothing to complain, as it is q Villa, do not expect any sign. Just follow the map since they send it to you via message.
