Guest Reviews
- Andrea (6/5): It was comfortable and convenient for my needs - Cosy, nice space for a one night stay. I didn't like the street noise trying to sleep, it woke me up early ...
- Lauren (9/5): -
- Claudine (1/5): - no key someone was stayin want refund as had find other accommadtion no one answered phs and should be taken off booking .com want refund didnt get to stay there so 0
- Radburn (4/5): - Sweet idea NOISE FROM TRAFFIC
VERY UNRELIABLE INTERNET
- MARCEL (7/5): For convenience a quick stay more suited for one person. - For a quick stay price and location was convenient.
It had a quaint atmosphere about it. Was forewarned about traffic noise and yes there was traffic noise. Little things that make a difference includes the porch would have been nicer if swept, the fridge hummed during the night and the solar path lights broken and not working.
- Brooke (5/5): Average - Cute Electricity glitched 3x while trying to cook one thing
- Shiho (1/5): Do not stay there! I try to contact with the owner but her phone is disconnected! - When we arrived, the room was not ready. The bed still had the previous guest’s sheets piled up, and the floors and rugs were muddy with hair throughout the accommodation. We tried contacting the owner, but the phone was switched off.
A young child next door, who was looking after the property while the owner was away, was unaware of our booking despite our confirmation. He attempted to clean, but did not properly change the sheets and only placed a new doona on top. Additionally, their dog was loose in the area, which was concerning as our cat is afraid of dogs. We had also booked and paid an extra $40 for our pets.
This situation was unacceptable, and we did not feel safe staying.
- Chloe (9/5): -
- Ciara (3/5): don't recommend. cramped, loud, generally unrelaxing. - Pretty well decorated. extremely small, cramped, loud, the washing machine on the other side of the property made the whole bed shake. felt exposed and unsafe, claustrophobic I could hear kids next door slamming around.
was so bad thay we did not stay the night only spent about an hour there.
- Sandie (10/5): -
- Sheree (9/5): - Clean and well maintained, comfortable and thoughtfully prepared. Location a bit noisy, but easily sorted with earplugs next time :)
- Michael (1/5): Disgusting. If there was an option for negative scores I would give this place a minus 10 - Absolutely nothing - do not bother looking at this property The bed was not made from the previous party, there was no toilet paper, the place wasn’t cleaned. Avoid this like the plague.
- George (4/5): I just needed a place to sleep. That was very difficult given the almost constant traffic - The noise. And the fact that I couldn’t work out how to turn off the outside lights.
- Georgia (10/5): -
- Georgia (10/5): -
- cecilia (4/5): - Nice decor, Kids were polite. Muddy and slippery entrance, mud stained on shoes and pants, almost fell from the entrance in the morning. A lot of biscuits crumbs on bed. Kids apologise for the construction on site, very overstimulated even with noise cancelling headphones though.
- Tiana (10/5): -
- Tariq (1/5): Disappointing experience due to lack of cleanliness, poor coordination, and unprofessional handling at check-in. - Nothing to comment on, as the property was not ready or clean upon arrival and I could not properly stay or use the facilities as booked. The property was not clean or ready at arrival, with unpleasant smells and poor overall condition. The host on site stated they were unaware of the booking and asked me to wait at least one hour for cleaning, despite this being a confirmed booking. This caused significant inconvenience, especially as I was travelling with my child and had to cancel planned activities. The response from the host was unprofessional and dismissive.
- Anand (7/5): Cute - Cosy cute little space. The foul smell from the toilets (due to improper plumbing I think) nothing could stop it!
- Erin (8/5): Great facilities, clean accommodation. Perfect little stay. -
- Michael (8/5): -
- Dmitrijs (7/5): -
- Cathie (7/5): -
- Beatrice (2/5): - Nothing The shower was dirty and smelly curtains torn no mini bar like it said no milk to tea or coffee but tea and coffee provided and not very roomy teenager's retreat
- Peter (6/5): It’s clear and fair for the money we spent - The veranda Small and during the day traffic noise
- Libby (8/5): Our first tiny home stay. We were surprised how well appointed it was. Exceptionally clean & beautifully decorated. - Very clean, well appointed for its size. The outside courtyard was lovely & roomy The traffic noise
- Fraydee (8/5): -
- Fiona (10/5): Quick little stop over - I loved my little stop over, it was just what I needed & perfect for me. It's decked out with everything you need
- Tanzila (6/5): I liked the decoration and outdoor . But felt abot suffocated. But good value for money. - It was in good location and well decorated Cleanliness as the bed sheet was not clean and felt like used. The stove didn’t work.
- James (8/5): The accommodation was perfect for a short stay and had everything you needed. - We liked that we able to take our small dog with us .
The location was good for us The access to the gate wasn’t very good. Uneven ground
- Colleen (7/5): Warm, clean and cosy with easy access. Good communication from host. - Lovely modern decor creating a cosy environment. Very clean and well appointed. I am older, so felt it was a bit noisy (to be fair, the host did mention this prior) and somewhat isolated if you didn't have a car.
- WENDY (5/5): - The location right on the corner of 2 busy roads. It was very noisy all night.
- Amilee (9/5): - It was so cosy and comfortable. It had a warm welcome feeling about it.
- Kerry (8/5): Tiny and Comfortable - It was clean and all I needed for me Not enough light at night, I can’t reach the kettle and needs blackout curtains on the window next to bed.
- Don (8/5): Great for our needs. Clean facilities for quick overnight stay - no breakfast available Location a little hard to find in dark
- justin (5/5): - We were disappointed. Bit pricey for the tiny place and its upkeep. The place is not maintained very well. There was a very foul smell at the entrace like somethings dead under the deck and the entire unit smelled like bleach. It's very congested and the entrace through the bushes is not very safe, the chances of tripping are very high.
- Julie (7/5): -
- Dianne Robyn (5/5): Respectfully we would not return - Nicely decorated inside First appearance was grass unkept, entry steps muddy, dead plant and messy entry area. Very noisy with traffic, dog barking across road and external festoon lights unable to be turned off and shone through into bed. No garbage bags provided and they stated to empty trash into bin outside gate - no bin outside gate only an old air compressor in long grass.
Linoleum shower base slippery when wet.
Trade person entered area unannounced whilst I was on front patio in pyjamas, no prior notice given.
- Brigit (5/5): - Nice hot shower and bed was okay Lots of traffic noise, outside sitting area was not clean, garden entrees unmowned and slippery
- Geoffrey (5/5): Needs to be double glazed to be made sound proof and a proper concreted pathway to the entrance with hand rail to make i - Location right on a very busy road is the big let down for this property. It was quiet between about 9.00 pm and 4.00am .After that the traffic noise was huge as this was very close to the road leading to the highway to Sydney from the Central Coast. Obviously people start their commute to Sydney very early in the morning. Access to the property is very difficult as the pathway to the front door was a bog, which required one to walk along a steep embankment to get to the front door .Not easy to carry luggage this way. There were other minor issues of the hooks kept detaching from the wall in the kitchen .
- Ron (2/5): -
- Stephen (9/5): Value for money in comfortable place to stay - Great having a comfortable bed and good heater and shower and outside in decking outside accommodarion in 2 areas to eat outside in private area and to have use of good utensils and kitchen equipment and hearing the bellbirds and other birds in morning and other times. Also love the lighting outside . The walkway ..and on street parking though safe only negative ..suggest rectified by having an offshoot off main driveway where grass platform walkway to be changed to be concretef of similar substance as main house driveway .This would mean car close to visitors stay accommodation and also good all weather surface
- sharon (10/5): - traffic
- Louise (7/5): Cheap and cheerful - Mari is a sweetie, and the tiny house is gorgeous. It is tiny though Unfortunately the shower was cold, despite letting it run for ten minutes. A little benchroom would be good as well
- Deleena (8/5): Dee and Allen - Private, Comfortable, Clean, Easy access, Had everything we needed. The hot water wasn't hot. It was luke warm so having a shower in the middle of winter want very enjoyable.
- Chanelle (7/5): Good -
- Zsofia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christopher (1/5): Looked fake when arrived, didn’t get greeted, no place for check in or key instructions, scammed? , didn’t get refunded - Horrendous. Looked fake
- Kim (9/5): Lovely place - Very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed for our overnight stay.
Even down to the basket containing things such as spare toothbrushes, hairbrush, and razor! Which we didn't use, but it would have been fantastic if we had have forgotten something! The only thing that I would suggest is considering handrails of some type for the steps, especially for the ones at the front yard.
It was very hard trying to use them with suitcases. And my mum found it especially hard.
Oh and parking. Again, my mum struggled with the fact that at one point we had to park across the road and up a bit, so she had to walk further.
- Natalie (8/5): Very good - I do love staying at Tiny Amor. It's so warm & cosy and close to amenities. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bed is very comfy. I travel with ear plugs, so the busy traffic doesn't bother me. The only downside is the side access to the Tiny Amor, via the footpath, which is very slippery and quite dangerous when it's wet.
I recommend changing into a pair of gumboots when entering/existing the property to save your shoes until this issue is rectified.
- Mary (8/5): Very good - Clean & comfortable Area surrounding base of steps in garden was slippery in the wet weather
- Jamay (8/5): Very good - Beautiful little place, very clean
- Lisa (5/5): Living Dangerously - The place was clean, comfortable, great little set up. Fantastic to be able to take my dog. Good simple kitchen, wifi, TV, Bathroom. The weather was really wet and everything was dry and cozy inside. The noise from the main road is pretty bad but better if you turn the TV up. The entry and exit are dangerous. The entry is muddy (up to my ankles and had to take shoes off) slippery wooden steps and no hand rails. When I left I used the other stairs at the front of the house which were stepping onto slippery Mould. One step and my feet went from under me and I fell grazing and bruising my arm and shoulder. Again no hand rails. I told Mari and she acted surprised but I found out someone had fallen the week before. This needs to be addressed as its really dangerous.
- Jen (10/5): Beautifully furnished and everything thought of. Loved the little personal touches. Def recommend. - Beautifully furnished and everything was thought of. Loved the little personal touches. Warm and cozy. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Access to property was extremely muddy but due to current weather conditions this was out of owners control and literally the only thing we could fault.
- Victoria (10/5): Brilliant - The property was so cute, everything matched perfectly. When we walked in it smelt divine. They really had thought of everything when putting it together. The shower was lovely, great pressure roomy and bright. The bed was comfortable and really wished we were staying longer. We also requested an early checkin and Marie happily obliged. Nothing it was beautiful.
- Beth (3/5): Disappointing... - The rain-shower head was great. BE AWARE - this property is on the corner of a VERY busy intersection. We couldn't get an uninterrupted sleep because of the constant traffic, which also regularly triggered the sensor lighting and lit up our room (covered by a see-through scrim curtain). Access was challenging because we had to walk through a very muddy lawn to get to the property (a large piece of cardboard or old towels would have helped). It also backs onto the owner's house, and no effort was made to minimise the noise (they spoke loudly and we could hear their conversations). We were charged $25 for our 12-year-old pug and advised that a bed and emergency dog food would be provided - the dog's bed was grubby, and there was no dog food.
- Isabella (5/5): Passable -
- Neil (1/5): not suitable for older people - car parking space
- Natalie (10/5): Beautiful Tiny Home - Loved The Tiny Home. Coastal inspired decor and contained everything necessary for an overnight business trip. The home was spotless and beautifully maintained. It will be my new go-to accommodation when working on the Central Coast. Not being a local, I had a little bit of trouble locating the property after dark but after re-reading Mari's email directions, I found it.
- Nichole (7/5): Perfect for two people - Very cute little trailer Nothing
- Sean (9/5): Clean and functional. Perfect as stopover - Clean. Small but functional. Good shower and had fridge and kitchen facilities. Nothing specific.
- Matthew (10/5): Great spot and clean - Great location Bill
- Danielle (8/5): Perfect Tiny Home for a short stay! - Great tiny home, everything I needed for a couple of days exploring the area. Comfortable, clean and excellent communication from the host.
Everything you need is provided, my dog and I had a great stay!
- Maria (5/5): Okay except no sleep - Nice but very noisy traffic
- Ladymcmax (8/5): Good things come in small packages - Beautifully presented and decorated inside and outside; very clean; private; comfy bed; air con; very well priced; no-contact check in/out for extra privacy; separate entry; free street parking; felt safe and secure; good basic kitchen facilities; lovely bathroom; lovely outdoor deck area; great communication and instructions pre-visit from the host Located next to a busy residential road (on route to Ourimbah freeway exit) which detracted from an otherwise peaceful location, so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper! Also wear eye-mask to bed, as it's bright in the morning despite blinds and curtains; security camera outside needs to not point directly into the bedroom (draw blinds for privacy while inside); WiFi is non-existent and therefore renders the TV useless; I would suggest bin-liners in all the bins to facilitate guests to empty indoor bins on check out.
- Liz (9/5): Superb - Delightful retreat, comfortable bed, nice outdoor setting.
One challenge when outdoor sensor light went on in middle of the night due to winds. Perhaps blackout curtains would help.
- Craig (8/5): Very clean and tidy inside, the verandah could have had a sweep as a leafy suburb. - Very clean & tidy inside Monday evening the traffic was noisy on the corner. Was quieter the Tuesday evening
- Isaac (8/5): Very good -
- Donna (8/5): All in all great stay for our purpose😊 - Just what we wanted as an over night stay. Location was great for where we needed to be the next day 😊very comfy Just a little noisy with the traffic on the main road and tv signals not great
- Patricia (2/5): Very poor - The room itself was reasonably clean Poor internet kept dropping out
The doona on the bed was unwashed
The rest of the property was a disgrace lawn unmowed rubbish bins overflowing attracting flies and maggots
- Nicholle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Justin (8/5): Very good -
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kristal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lily (8/5): Very good -
- Ebonie (1/5): Bad -
- Shivam (7/5): Good -
- Sue (7/5): The Tiny home had a good, comfortable feeling and I would stay there again. - Loved the way it was styled - cute with a really good vibe.
The size was perfect for me staying alone and felt completely safe.
I appreciated the message making sure I had checked in ok. The noise of traffic passing by might bother some people.
It was fairly clean but could have been excellent if the little cobweb in the shower, under the bed, the outside area etc were cleaned too.
- Rhianna (3/5): Poor -
- Ashna (3/5): Poor -
- Jenna (7/5): Good - The tiny house is beautiful, the area is great for walking and to access. The noise from the road was loud if you are a light sleeper, started at approx. 5.30am during the week.
- Vahid (10/5): Exceptional -
- Abby (7/5): Good - Cute property Traffic noise was loud. Visitors to main house entered via entrance to the tiny house rather than through the main entrance to the house.
- Laura (5/5): Passable -
- Laura (10/5): Great overnight stay! Close to The Entrance. - Great overnight stay!
- Chris (9/5): Superb - It's so beautifully presented.
- Estelle (10/5): Fabulous will definately stay again - It was super cute, loved the decore and convenience & hosts were wonderful Traffic a bit noisy if light sleeper
- Alan (10/5): comfortable, clean, pet friendly, 100% recommended. - Location is excellent. Plenty of street parking.
- Locock (8/5): Very good -
- Pring (10/5): Exceptional - From. The second wr walked in ans put the air-conditioning on my son fell straight to sleep. It is a very cosy little cottage with everything you need. Defiantly worth a try fie a couple or sinlge Can't say a bad word
- Ron (8/5): Very good -
- Clive (6/5): Ok - It was very clean There was no soap a half used bottle of shampoo and there was no coffee or milk
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katy (5/5): Passable - Outdoor area was really pretty and I could eat outside even though it was raining. Kitchen area really is tiny. Single plug in hotplate means food needs to be simple.
Path to entrance not obvious and there is a huge step to get suitcase up. Small hand luggage would be easier.
- Hazel (8/5): Very good - Private as new, well equipped with great attention to ambiance inside and out. Decks enjoyable. Very impressive from entering the private gate to the property. As a late booking I made due to a major accident on the M1 the most pleasant Hostess I spoke with prepared the property for us in half an hour. Thank you. Main road traffic revved up from 4.30 am. Slept very well despite the constant traffic noise. Perhaps due to the previous night M1 to Sydney incident creation havoc.
- Robyn (4/5): Cute well priced tiny house if you don’t mind a lot of traffic noise - Cute tiny house, felt very modern, new and clean The tiny house is located on a busy corner and there was traffic noise day and night. Also there was a high step to access the path to the house making it awkward especially in and out with luggage from the car down the street.
- Kylie (7/5): Coastal Style, lacks quiet surroundings and privacy - The tiny home is beautifully styled with a coastal theme and is very appealing. The bed is warm and very comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. The deck and courtyard is lovely. Unfortunately, the Tiny home is located on a very busy intersection. Traffic noise at peak hour is significant. I was unable to get adequate rest during the day which I need for a medical condition due to the traffic noise. While I did sleep well during the night, traffic noise was still heard regularly. Access to the tiny home is by a besser brick or a huge step, difficult to navigate with luggage and feels unsafe. I was concerned with hurting myself. Also, there is a security camera installed facing the glass door to the tiny home which is angled directly at the bed. I found I had to keep the curtains closed whenever I was in the Tiny home for privacy. It is a little disconcerting and should be repositioned. Storage for luggage could be more functional.
- Judy (8/5): Clean, economical and suggest a few alterations/modifications - Had all we wanted and not too expensive There are a few things I feel need attention
1. TV needs tuning
2. Some hooks in the bathroom to hang your washer bag
3. The step onto the property from council land dangerous and it needs a gradual step
4. Not that the TV worked however you can’t see from the bed with we’re the hanging thing is.
5. Suggestions turn the bed around
6. The traffic noise was unbelievable from 5.30am on.
6. Maybe a stool.
It all looks new so only a few suggestions/ideas
Thanks for sharing your property
- Libby (5/5): Passable - The tiny home was fine & clean. The tiny house was on a corner of two very busy streets. Cars were very noisy. Lights from the main house shined into the tiny house. My husband had trouble with the steps outside. We had to park in the street.
- Samantha (8/5): Very good - The tiny home was very well appointed and tastefully decorated, with everything needed for an overnight stay. A functional and comfortable space with lots of beautiful little features. Communication with the owner was excellent. The only downside was the noise, it’s on the corner of a very busy intersection, which made it hard to sleep.
