• Jorge (10/5): Peaceful, quiet, clean and comfortable. - Honestly the whole house was amazing. I will be booking here more often.
• Anne (8/5): Overall a very pleasant stay - We liked the location which was very close to our daughter's apartment. We also appreciated the private gated parking, although the neighborhood seemed to be quite safe. The seating in the side yard with citrus trees was very nice, although because of the heat wave during our stay we did not have get to use it as much as we would have liked. The morning after our arrival we discovered that the Keurig coffee maker did not work. I was very unhappy about this since I really, really need my caffeine fix in the morning. Contacted Eugene who came and took the machine, saying that he would fix it and bring it back that afternoon. Spent the rest of the day with our daughter, who offered to lend us her French press along with some coffee. I did not think I would need it but took it anyway and glad that I did, because the Keurig was nowhere to be seen. Contacted Eugene again and he brought it the following day and it worked. The next morning I had my first cup (yay!) However, when my husband tried to get a cup the machine again refused to oblige. (Here I might interject that he does drink tea, although he prefers coffee.) My suggestion is: since this was an "old model" perhaps it is time to upgrade to a newer model. Or, alternately, spring for a cheap drip coffee maker (Mr. Coffee comes to mind) which always works. My other issue is the bathroom. There are no hooks or towel bars to hang up towels which is slightly annoying but not really a deal-breaker. But the other issue is more pressing: the tub is very deep and it is a bit of a challenge for us older people to get into it. It also has no grab bar and the tup is very slippery. I would suggest at the very least to have a rubber bath mat in the tub for safety when showering.

• Jacobs (9/5): The unit was reasonably priced, well-maintained, comfortable, and ideally located for our needs. - We wanted a location in walking distance to a relative's house for a family reunion gathering and this unit was right in the neighborhood (all residential, no hotels nearby). We liked the modern amenities and contemporary interior design. Bed was very comfortable and included large pillows and a thick quilted-down bedcover. Bathroom had convenient tub/shower combo with Euro-style hand-held or wall-mounted flexible shower head. Huge walk-in closet in bedroom. Fruit-filled citrus trees in garden. A few additional items would have made the unit perfect. There were no towel racks or hooks in the bathroom and no full-length mirror to use while dressing. And while other utensils and tools were spotless, the iron provided had something burned on its heating surface and was unusable. The securely gated parking area was nice to have but a bit tricky to navigate into with anything bigger than a subcompact car.

Wish they had a couch instead of a love seat. Toilet was a little sensitive and the hot water took a long time to come on in the shower. The place literally the BEST place we e stayed when seeing our kids & grandkids. Only 7 minutes away. The host was excellent in communication and we so appreciated that. It was higher than we normally pay and would love to rebook for July 2026 if we could have a lower price. The different internet connections on the two TV’s was a little frustrating. Beautiful overall !! Toilet, sensitive smoke alarm, no couch .

It offered privacy, comfort, and the convenience of secure parking—everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The space was clean, peaceful, and truly felt like a home away from home, making it easy to unwind after busy days exploring the city. Eugene, our host, was fantastic. He was incredibly responsive, kind, and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. His thoughtful communication and warm hospitality made the experience seamless and enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place—or a better host. Highly recommended! There was NOTHING to not like about this place!

• Douglas (10/5): Excellent place with an attentive host. Highly recommende - Clean, quiet, private, well provisioned. Water pressure was a little low but not a big deal. It takes a bit of work to get a larger car in/out of gated parking area. These were very minor issues, we recommend this place without hesitation.

There were shades in the kitchen this time around, which is very helpful at night for privacy. Having the French doors in the bedroom. A window would have been better. The curtains could be more thicker for privacy. A blackout curtain would be highly recommended.

Super clean and modern guest house with added security! - Property was perfectly placed in a great location that was super close to a main road with plenty to do. The unit was very clean and had more amenities than I was expecting which was a welcome addition. I would highly recommend and is FAR better than a hotel room at the same price range.

I’ll definitely book with them - Love the location and privacy of the property The bathroom shower curtain had urine stains on it. I noticed a strong urine smell when I first took a shower with the curtain in the tub. I didn’t put the curtain in the tub for showers after that (I put a couple towels down to soak up excess water)

It made me feel more secure and safe for both me and the car we rented! The house was great! It was clean and spacious! The bed was huge and really comfortable! The owner was super friendly and helpful! He has fruit trees in the yard which was really cool to see! And the price for this stay was amazing! We were looking around different places to stay in LA and kept seeing reviews of hotels with rats and roaches for almost double the cost! We were very happy with our stay and would definitely come back to this house next time! Everything was great!
