• Maude (10/5): Perfect Stay - We had an amazing stay at this apartment! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment itself was spotless, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had all the essentials, making it easy to prepare meals during our stay. The location was ideal, with plenty of shops, cafes, and attractions within walking distance. It was also very quiet at night, so we slept soundly each evening. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was modern with all the necessary amenities. Can't find any fault😊

• Jonathan (10/5): Great apartment to use for a Joburg visit. - Great location to visit relatives in San Sereno Retirement Village. The bed was comfy, the linen crisp and we felt safe. A secure safety deposit box in the apartment is required for peace of mind.

It expires midnight which can be a problem if you forget to request early if you go past midnight or wake up early and have to call the owner to exit or enter the place.

Very near to malls, fueling station and renown restaurants. I would book the place again and again for the next trip. Pictures reveal the actual. None.

• Stella (9/5): Great experience! - Almost everything seemed new and modern in the apartment. The tiles and shower are beautiful, the place ultra clean, both bedrooms had en-suite bathrooms which I liked. Though the place was ultra modern, it still had a homely feel to it. There is also a backup power supply. There were also many bottles of drinking water there. The lighting was magnificently bright though you could adjust the light intensity by switching on the lamps or switching some of the regular lights off. The host minded his own business and only contacted us when necessary to find out if all was well and to assist where we needed it, highly appreciated! The area is decently quiet and there was no disturbance from the neighbours. Amenities are within vicinity. There is digital self check-in which I found to be very convenient and we were also provided with gate access codes on-time every day. The apartment is exactly as in the pictures. Outside of carrying heavy luggage up and down a flight of stairs, walking up the staircase was good for exercise! Overall, we were very happy with the place. We had some issues with the Netflix connection which the host did try to assist us to fix, but connectivity was on and off for the greater part of our stay. We also had to use our own Netflix accounts. The area does get several power cuts but fortunately the apartment has a backup power supply. The downside was that even with the backup, we would still face issues with certain plugs not working and would start working in the morning when the natural power returned. We also struggled to find the apartment as the entrance into the apartment complex has a totally different name and number. Having Air Conditioning would have made the experience better. There is no elevator or disability access, so be prepared to lift your heavy bags up a flight of stairs. Also, for such a lovely apartment, the pots and pans did not reach the quality and standards we would have expected. Non-stick, quality pots would have enhanced the experience as cooking is a major for us. Also, there were only about 2 forks there which was far from being enough. I was made to believe that the apartment comes with a private pool, but was very disappointed not to find one there - this was supposed to be the highlight of the trip, and I hope booking.com corrects the apartment description by removing the private pool part.
• Kyle (6/5): Pleasant - Place was clean, modern, with good kitchen amenities. Security very friendly and helpful. Owner responded very quickly and tried to sort out the issues we were experiencing. No air conditioning or fan despite heat of summer. Furniture more for style than comfort. The tv wasnt working and the water geyser didnt work throughout the trip either, despite their attempts to fix it. When we brought these up, the owner did try to get them sorted immediately, but wasnt fixed. No compensation offered or given. The location was okay. The building itself not enjoyable. It's a block of flats, doesnt feel like a getaway experience. The pool is on the other side of the complex and small.
