Guest Reviews
- Durguti (10/5): -
- Chris (10/5): Great location, right in the heart of rome centre - Apartment was gorgeous and comfortable, very clean and we felt very safe there,2 minutes from trevi fountain.defnietly be back again. Absolutely nothing
- Annika (10/5): Toppenbra boende och gångavstånd till allt vi ville se. - Väldigt centralt,välordnat och mysigt boende. Trots livlig gata var det väldigt tyst i lägenheten.
- Rodia (7/5): Overall, our stay was very disappointing due to extremely poor hygiene and lack of cleanliness. - The location We had a very unpleasant experience regarding hygiene. We found hairs everywhere, including on our towels. The towels also had an unpleasant smell. Additionally, we found used cotton buds on the floor, which was unacceptable. One of the toilets had visible menstrual blood stains on the wall and on the toilet itself. Overall, the level of cleanliness and hygiene was extremely poor.
- Christo (5/5): Will not revisit - Location great No real aircon , no wine glasses, furniture poor
- Panayiotis (7/5): Beautiful Rome but very hot - Location was great No Aircon in bedrooms
- Caroline (7/5): Great location, but needs better aircon in the height of summer - Location was excellent- right in the heart of Trevi
Well furnished and decorated apartment in small block We were there when it was exceptionally hot and the aircon was only working in the living space (and not particularly well)
- Kimberly (8/5): Convenient to Trevi Fountain and Amenities - Proximity to Trevi Fountain, dining, and shops was very convenient. Kitchenette with refrigerator, dishwasher, and fully stocked cabinets with dishes, utensils, and cookware was perfect to prepare a meal. Two full bathrooms also very practical when sharing the space with a small group. Beds were comfortable and foam pillows were provided in the master bedroom. The air conditioning units in the living room did not reach into the bedrooms adequately, so it was uncomfortable to sleep in the rooms during the evening. We were lucky that the temps only hit the high 80s during our stay. Small fans in each room were provided to help move the air around. This is typical of Europe in the summer months and was not a deal breaker for us.
- Vicky (5/5): Good but felt the apartment was smaller than thought . A few simple things like tea-towel, small milk etc would be good - Location and cleanliness Security Lack of tea towels for washing up . Maintenance man came to fix dishwasher. We weren t informed at time and then trouble with the wifi as password didn’t work for wifi . The pictures showing the apartment on booking . com are showing a larger place , due to mirrored wall .
- William (10/5): definitely would rebook - location the best place to be can not think of a thing
- Ellen (10/5): 100% recommend - Amazing interior, got everything you need. Perfect location. Great security. Perfect for us and we were a group between 22-80 Only thing I’d say and it’s very minor is that it can be nosy of a late evening and early morning so the windows on the smaller room could do with re sealing to reduce the volume as the main bedroom is perfect.
- John (7/5): Central but noisy - Location was amazing, very close to the Trevi Fountain, shop & restaurants.
Nice size family room & kitchen
Bonus lift for luggage Unfortunately extremely noisy (due to location)you will definitely need earplugs.
Very small second bedroom
Bathrooms very small
- Heidi (9/5): Fantastic location, very close to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Metro stop close by - Beds are a little uncomfortable, and the shower, whilst hot and powerful could do with some attention to the fixings
- Catherine (6/5): Good location and suitable for family with small children perhaps but definitely not for older teenagers. Too noisy also - Easy walking distance to most attractions, secure, lift was great for our large suitcases. Great to have two bathrooms Second bedroom was way too small for two older teenagers. Very little room for unpacking or storage. Quite noisy at night and curtains also too shear to cut out light.
- Chris (8/5): Great location for visiting most of the places of interest. - Good location. No information available on how to use appliances. Such as dishwasher & coffee maker.
- Ines (4/5): Disappointing - Location is good The windows were horrible. They are very thin, so because the appartament was on the 1st floor and turned to the street the noise was horrible and we could hear everything from the street. We couldnt sleep at all…
- Karin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sophie (7/5): We did have a lovely stay in Rome at the apartment however some small improvements would be great. - The apartment was in an awesome location near the Trevi Fountain and was exactly as shown in the pictures. I loved the overall decoration of the apartment. The main concern about our stay was the very small double bed, which had extremely hard pillows. Also the temperature of the shower was barely warm.
- Douglas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Craig (8/5): Great base to explore Rome! - Location was excellent, staff friendly, good holiday accommodation Not so much a dislike but upgrading the other 2 windows at the front like the main bedroom would make a significant difference to the outside noise.
- Klaus (10/5): Exceptional -
- Greg (5/5): Passable - Apartment and furnishings were beautiful, and location Been kept waiting to enter fir twi hours. Dishwasher was smelly, no cork screw. The apartment is nit suitable for two couples
- Brittney (4/5): Below average - Good location Not comfortable for 2 couples, the property felt dated and a few facilities were not up to standard for the price. There were a few things from previous bad reviews that still had not been fixed when we stayed. Overall disappointing and very small apartment.
- Roberto (4/5): Owner could of come to meet us but sent someone else very poor communication - No breakfast included location ok but noisey Not enough blockout on windows could not sleep .
- Sara (9/5): Location perfect; communication with manager excellent - Location Lacked instructions for using appliances; too small fir 4 adults
- Lidia (3/5): Terrible Experience and I am waiting for my city Tax refund. - The location. The apartment is hot. Only one room has air conditioning. The Wi Fi does not work. The TV has no channels for viewing.
The water was turned off during our stay.
The property owner does not respond when you call them.
- Nektarios (10/5): Exceptional - The location was fantastic. The girl who met us and the host weren't that helpful, no photos of passports and no copy of receipt of city tax that we paid. It took host about 26 hours to reply to a question we raised of 2 issues we had.
- Michaela (9/5): Fantastic position, comfy beds, clean and quiet! - Amazing location! It was a little small for a family of 5 people but would have been perfect for family of 4. It didn't matter though as we were out exploring Rome!
- Alwarthan (6/5): Pleasant - The location The Air conditioner it was just in the living room
No air conditioner in the rooms , it was hot inside the rooms .
The living room was smaller than expected and as shown in the picture
- Abdulaziz (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anita (10/5): If you want to experience the true spirit of Rome, the hustle and bustle, vibrant night life then this is the place to s - Antique style, clean, very unique to anything we have stayed at. Close proximity to Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, lots of restaurants and shopping available all very close.
- Susan (5/5): Not a helpful host - Location was great, lots of restaurants and right near the fountain. The host wasn't helpful, we had to wait several hours for someone to let us in the apartment, we arrived around 12 and couldn't find it because there are 2 green doors and one had the correct number above but was the wrong building. I had told him our flight was arriving at 10am but he didn't mention there was no option to leave our cases or check in early. When I asked for the 3rd time what time we could get in he just offered to return our money and suggested we find somewhere else. Eventually the person who was supposed to meet us (who didn't answer their phone at all) turned up at check in time and told us the apartment hadn't been cleaned and would be another hour. It was very noisy and difficult to sleep in the second bedroom and the on suite shower to the main bedroom had no seal on the bottom of the door so the whole bathroom floor flooded when you took a shower. This meant we had to use all the towels to soak up the water.
- Chris (7/5): Good -
- Funda (5/5): Not happy with my stay - The location is good, besides that everything is disappointing! The apartment was not comfortable, there are some obvious maintenance needs but they are all ignored. On the paper, the apartment has everything but they are not as useful as expected. In summary, the apartment has potential, but improvements are necessary to make it truly comfortable and functional.
- Robert (6/5): We weren’t in the unit except to sleep and shower. Unfortunately that’s where we had issues. - Location to sights. Lots of space in living area. Kitchen had lots of extras. Garden is very nice. Too hot and too noisy. On busy restaurants street, with no shades to block lights. A/C only cools living area. Bedrooms too hot. Handheld shower wand in both baths cannot be locked up high for washing hair. They hit you at chest level. Our shower leaked and was very slow to drain.
- Richard (8/5): Perfect central location but noisy street. - The apartment is right in the centre on a very busy and noisy street just a couple of minutes away from the Trevi Fountain so for us it was a perfect location as you could walk everywhere from there. You’ll need earplugs if street noise bothers you. The restaurants below start setting up their outdoors tables early in the morning. The apartment lacked basic supplies in the kitchen (tea towels, functioning corkscrew) but we informed the owner so hopefully the next guests won’t have that problem. The lady who let us in the apartment could not speak very English very well so it was a bit difficult to communicate with her.
- Dilara (5/5): The property is in a great location however it was very noisy so unable to sleep properly. Communication with property m - Location and size of the property. Only 1 bin in the whole property
Very noisy unable to sleep properly
Beds in small room very uncomfortable
Unpleasant smell on towels and bedding
Shower head holders both broken
Unable to get feedback on luggage storage
Although check in is until 20.00, host suggested charging 50 euro extra after 19.30
Very small TV
- Odoherty (9/5): Really enjoyable! Would highly recommend this apartment (mayb not with kids though as breakables present ie. Beautiful v - It was beautifully decorated, really clean and great location Very little! (The shower holder was broken on both showers)
- Heather (6/5): Happy and convenient stay. - Well positioned and pretty. Very cramped for four people and necessary repairs need to be done on plumbing in both showers. Information about rubbish and appliances at check-in was lacking.
- Elijah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hazel (9/5): Superb - Location was excellent! Really nice apartment and very safe Nothing!
- James (8/5): It was super close to the Trevi , restaurants and shops everywhere and the apartment was neat and clean - and very secur - the apartment was neat and clean .
Location wise the apartment was in a great spot filled with restaurant and shops and very close to the Trevi fountain , but being on level 1 and facing the busy street it was noisy and then noise from the street carried to the Apartment Which made it hard to settle for sleep the street noise
- Christodoulos (8/5): Very good - The second room was very small and the beds were not comfortable.
Too much noise at night.
- Karin (10/5): Wonderful, thank you to the super landlords!! - loved the location, accommodation was tastefully decorated, easy and friendly check in, landlord kept good communication with us, would definitely stay there again!! Had a bit of trouble closing the closet door in the main bedroom. Landlord should note that the wall lamp shade on the right side of the bed is completely burnt up and when the light is on, the shade gets extremely hot. Should be looked at due to a fire hazard. All else wonderful.
- Alison (8/5): Great apartment in excellent location. - Lovely apartment in great location, just near Trevi fountain. Two bathrooms, good sized kitchen and enough living space for our family of four. Loads of restaurants nearby. The hosts were helpful and met us to let us in after our arrival was delayed. An air-conditioner in the bedroom would have been lovely, but the two in the lounge room were appreciated. I received an electric shock from the dishwasher but we didn't use the kitchen much anyway.
- Brenda (6/5): English instructions required on how to work TV and stove and other appliances. No air conditioning in bedrooms. - Comfortable apartment for three adults, maximum. Bathrooms require upgrades. Unfortunately while we were there construction outside room started at 6:00 am every day. Air conditioning lacking.
- Anmol (7/5): Good - Clean and great location. Communication with staff was not great
- Ann (8/5): Very good -
- Karine (8/5): Pretty, comfortable and centrally located - Central location with shops and restaurants in the street. Street noise is well controlled from the apartment. Stylish accommodation.
Everything was in good working order and the apartment was clean. No a/c in the bedrooms but fans are provided. Comfortable at night but a bit hot in the day.
The 2nd bedroom is small but can sleep 2 people (single beds).
- Kalsi (8/5): Other than the AC issue, the place was ideal for a family of 4. - The apartment was cute, centrally located. All major sight seeing in Rome was walking distance The air conditioning was not in the rooms and it was super hot in the bedrooms and bathrooms. They had 2 window ACs in the living room and we all had to sleep in there to escape the heat.
- Gail (7/5): Loved being so close to Trevi Fountain. Cafe & Cornero at 6.30 next to Trevi a great start to the day. - Very pretty. Nicely decorated. Close you everything! An extra fan would have been welcomed due to the heat.
- Sherry (8/5): A beautiful apartment right in the midst of loads of restaurants. - It was a beautiful apartment in an awesome location. Lovely apartment to fit a family of four. Loved that we walked outside the apartment and there were restaurants and shops all around… and only about a 4 min walk to Trevi Fountain!
- Sean (9/5): Perfecto - Location to Trevi and Spanish steps within walking distance.
Celine met us and was very attentive and lovely lady. Pablo was very responsive. Rooms were
Spacious and facilities allowed for local cooking. Though some of the restaurants opposite provided a great introduction to Italian food.
Watch the taxi drivers not using meters as we got shafted out from the Vatican by one young Italian who elevated the price, demanded cash, didn’t use the meter and ultimately dropped us off 35 minutes from Trevi. Nothing really! Others staying at hotels complained about the lack of space - not us.
- Alice (6/5): Pleasant - air conditioning wasn't great - given the central location was busy and so noisy when windows were open. otherwise it was a fab location - very central and easy to get to all sites
- Alexander (9/5): Exactly what we expected. Would recommend. - Location was excellent. Very close to the Trevi Fountain.
Room was beautifully decorated with antiquarian furniture.
Main bedroom window was double glazed and very quiet considering the central location in Rome.
Super handy to main attractions of Rome and the Metro. The second bedroom was a little noisy from the street restaurants below but that is part of the attraction of being in central Rome.
Perhaps some softer pillows would be nice.
- Michael (10/5): loved it had a boss time - we loved everything about the apartment, we travelled as a 4 adult family and the whole place was spacious enough for our needs. well equipped, comfortable throughout and location was perfect. Pablo was easy to contact and responded quickly to our questions and was helpful in every way. Celina was lovely and again very helpful. We were there for the Springsteen concert and had never visited Rome before but this apartment and the welcome we got as made us want to return soon. Loved it nothing really, bit noisy outside at night but given the location and the narrow streets it is only to be expected. added to the atmosphere really and if your tired you’ll sleep !
- Elaine (9/5): Superb -
- Marek (9/5): Superb - Perfectly located apartment in the center. Thank you Pablo for storing the luggage due to the postponement of the departure. Everything is ok.
- Liana (8/5): Very good - * The apartment itself was beautiful
* The location
* The cleanliness
* We were able to check in hours early * Our WiFi stopped working, and there was nothing done to resolve it while we were staying at the property despite contacting the staff.
- Jennifer (10/5): it was absolutely wonderful for our family of 4- 7 and 8 yo - The location was fantastic!!! our walk home everyday included the pantheon and Trevi fountain. the courtyard was pretty. the apartment was beautiful! the windows out onto the busy street were picture perfect
the room for our girls was cute
the showers were hot
grocery less than 1/2 block away
dropped off a giant load of laundry for 18 euros. cleaned and folded we don’t know how to use the heaters
be aware in Italy you need to separate the trash so keep bags from shopping for this
- Courtney (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE! - The property owner failed to collect the city tax when they checked us in. Now he is being demanding and unreasonable about how he will be paid. I said again and again I’m happy to pay him but he will only accept cash. I have continued on with my trip and am no longer in Rome. I have offered to Venmo him or even have him meet me at my hotel when I return to Rome. he is now threatening to get local government involved. mind you this is over 42 Euros. I have been in touch with customer service and they are trying to help me and agree I am not at fault. This has been an awful experience I wouldn’t wish on any travel. Dealing with it has literally eaten up my entire day and put me in a terrible mood. I am suppose to be enjoying a relaxing trip to Italy to see my son who is in school here. instead I’ve had to deal with this.
not only that this apartment is on the equivalent of Bourbon Street in New Orleans. it is loud and noisy ALL NIGHT LONG! music, drunk people yelling, motorcycles speeding by, cars honking. And then when u finally think it’s going to quiet down the city begins collecting garbage and recycling. so all you hear is the sound of 100s of wine bottles being dumped into the truck
Bottom line, save yourself the unhappiness and DO NOT STAY HERE!! it’s definitely not worth it. there are hundreds of hotels around Trevi. pick a different one! I know I will definitely be staying elsewhere ! unprofessional owner
excessive noise
- Victoria (8/5): Very good - Great location close to several main locations, bars and restaurants
The apartment was clean, perfectly maintained and very comfortable the apartment faces a street that during week days was rather loud
- Angeliki (10/5): amazing apartment , perfect location ideal for families - everything was perfect -
- Olivija (8/5): Very good -
- Julija (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (9/5): fantastic location and great owners very accomodating - amazing space, plenty of room
second room is a little small though
great location close to Trevi fountain small second room
- Craig (8/5): Very good - Location was perfect for everything we wanted to see and do. A little small for 4 persons. Street noise.
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Lindy (7/5): secure, well located, close to attractions and cafes - excellent central location noise from the streets below
- Kathleen (7/5): Frustrating stay - so noisy, disappointed washing machine did not exist and unbelievable to think it’s okay to change th - cute apartment, centrally located extremely noisy, missing washing machine, changed access key without telling us causing stress and wasted time
- Kristin (8/5): Really comfortable little apartment! - Location great, but so many visitors, always seemed very busy around our apartment. Very great location We arrived from the States early morning, and we really didn't have a place to put our bags. We were able to get in an hour earlier than advertised, thanks to the manager arriving early to let us drop our bags off. But, this is really important to consider if you are arriving in the am from the States
- Scott (7/5): overall we enjoyed our stay. Celina made every effort at asdrsss our concerns - location and 2 bedrooms air conditioning is uncontrollable and shuts off at 9 or 10pm
- Péter (10/5): Exceptional - It was all discussed in advance, got photos and all info.
On site i was able to reach the landlord, so we had contact also during the check.in! Bravo! All was fine, wishing further success!
Great apartment at a great location, with all facilities you need.
Would go back anytime in the future, also recommend to ones who like nice apartment and excellent location.
- Vincenzo (4/5): Disappointing - Location was in center of Rome which was very convenient Apartment smelt very musky like a locker room. Sheet and towels did not seem to be clean. Limited air conditioning during a heat wave. AC was turned off at night and turned on in the morning. I contacted host every day to have this fixed and it was never fixed.
