• peter (7/5): - Die alte Substanz wurde teilweise charmant renoviert und genutzt. Wir waren im Schildkröten-zimmer. Das war sehr herzig. Wenn es möglich wäre die Zimmertüre so zu verschließen, dass nicht zentimeter-große Spalten bleiben, dann hätte ich sogar 8 von 10 Punkte vergeben. Die Matratze ist leider alt und daher für zwei Personen unbrauchbar, da beide Personen in die Mitte rollen.

• María (7/5): Habitaciones muy céntricas - La ubicación. Está a pocos metros de la feria de Navidad y nos encantó. Nos atendieron muy amablemente. La cama no era demasiado cómoda y desde fuera se podía ver parte de las habitaciones.

• Caroline (5/5): - Stayed on Christmas Eve and the owner was away. We were still greeted by a friend of the owner and shown around the house which was great. The rooms were clean and comfortable but very cold. Luckily we had some heaters to keep us warm at night. The use of the kitchen and storage of our bikes was very much appreciated. We were told we were the only guests staying so we're a bit alarmed when we were woken up at midnight with someone coming in and shouting for the owner. We didn't feel particularly safe, not knowing who this person was and that we didn't have a lock on our door. It was all ok in the end but would have been nice to have known to maybe expect other people coming in.

• L. Laura (7/5): - Un lugar muy tranquilo para pasar la noche y personal muy amable. Se adaptaron a nuestra hora de llegada. Por la noche pasamos algo de frío porque ya empezaba a refrescar y la cama solo tenía sabanas. Faltó algo de ropa de cama.

• Dita (10/5): Lovely people - Owner arrananged everything to make it as comfortable as possible, he was reachable at all times and English might be his first language. He also lives with a very very lovely dog that was also happy to greet us. The city is lovely and quiet, absolutely would love to return.

• Dénes (10/5): Idyllic authentic place in the old town - This was the second time we stayed here, so we knew we were going to a friendly and comfortable place with a huge double bed. The house allows you to experience how people used to live - but in a world of wifi, heaters, hot shower and a well equipped kitchen. The room had a fan heater which was a bit noisy at night.

There are still few places to socialize bars clubs that are also friendly and welcoming also close as are public transport links. Loved this place Will definitely return.Thanks friendly.

• Natalia (1/5): ZERO customer service - Easy check in Please stay away! I booked 7 nights non-refundable at La Guarida Rustica last minute, after my previous accommodation cancelled my reservation, and this place was the only one still available for 7 nights. Booking.com promised to reimburse me for the difference in price but the problem with that is if your booking is non-refunduble, you're stuck with what you booked last minute. My mistake was booking 7 nights because after I checked in I realised I couldn't stay there for 7 nights. The bathroom is on a different floor, the room is right next to the stair case, the house was busy and I could hear everyone talking and snoring very loudly, the room was dirty and extremely hot, the room didn't lock from the inside, people were walking up and down the stairs all night, so I couldn't sleep. I complained to the host but he didn't respond, so I called booking.com to ask to move out after 1 night and get a refund for the rest, since there was a better choice of accommodation, not being last minute. Booking.com basically said it was up to the host to agree a refund and the host said no. I still moved out after one night and never received a refund for the rest for the nights. After countless hours on the phone, Booking.com reimbursed me only for the price difference, however since I only stayed 1 night out of 7 I still had to pay for my accommodation elsewhere. They offered me 20 euro compensation for the complaint. 20 euro for 7 nights booking! Please just avoid this place, since you will never get the host to agree on anything.
