- Gamaliel (7/5): The location is good and the price is competitive. But staying here feels like you’re doing something illegal, since ren - The accommodation has an excellent location — the Dodgers Stadium is very close, and so is downtown. The place is comfortable, and the apartment looks exactly like it does in the pictures. The kitchen is very functional, and the rooms are spacious. It’s also a great plus that the apartment includes parking for up to two vehicles. They offer self-check-in, but it’s honestly a joke. They send you instructions to enter the property quietly and request access to the floor where the apartment is located (each floor is locked and requires a key). You’re told not to speak to or contact any staff at the residence, because it is strictly prohibited to rent out apartments for short-term stays like Airbnb. The same situation applies for check-out — luckily, the cleaning lady helped us get out; otherwise, it would have been another nightmare. They should not offer self-check-in, and if the building management strictly prohibits short-term tourist rentals, then they shouldn’t be listing this property on Booking in the first place.
